Are men slowly turning into women?
Whats the deal?
>>
>>536129851
I don't own a bike because I'm not a gay kike.
>>
>>536129851
Why do bikes break all the time? They are pieces of shit really. Its always something with those things
>>
>>536129906
This is true. Its always broken, i hate bikes but im getting a belly so its time.
>>
>>536129952
You put ot away for winter and next time you use it the gears arent shifting right or something its so frustrating
>>
>>536130002
Yes! Its all so flimsy, even the (((quality shimano))) breaks down if you look at it the wrong way

I hate bikes so much bros. But they’re really the best for getting and not fat

I own 2 cars and 2 trucks. The only reason I’d want a bike is for high-speed trail riding.
>>
>>536129851
The kind of bikes that burgers buy from Walmart are literally unfixable, it's all plastic snap together peices that aren't ment to take apart. They will last maybe a half a summer before something breaks on them and then they will sit in the garage for five years before they are dropped off at a thrift shop, and then the thrift shop has to pay someone to haul them off to the landfill because there is nothing they can do with them.
>>
>>536130506
Apply degreaser and use a wire brush to remove the oil. Then when its nice and clean, re oil.
>>
>>536129851
only fags ride bikes
imagine wiggling your anus while riding your faggy bike Infront of people using the same road, faggot
>>
>>536129851
Imagine claiming to be a white nationalist and not being cyclist.
Seriously if you are not watching Jonas claim the Maglia rosa today, watch niggerball(basketball)/favelaball(soccer) and/or your cycling ftp is below 2.5 watts/kg, you are not white you are just a faggot.

>>536130002
What sort of faggot doesn’t ride in winter?

>incoherent blathering
Poorfag, the post. Why are anti cyclists always poor, blue collar types? I get you were abused as a child and have had a hard life and need to sell your body to get food. But why blame cyclists?
>>
When I was a kid my jeans would always get caught in the chain so id have to keep one pant leg rolled into my socks, sometimes we would run over pop cans and they would get stuck between fork and the tire and make it sound like a dirt bike.
>>
>>536130650
Get a dutch brand, they sell gazelle overthere? Those never break, hans still has my opa’s bike in use.
>will i ever see it back??
>>
>>536130728
shitholes are generally completely unfit for riding a bike.
stay brown and fat.
>>
>>536130975
Yes please.
Back in the day we would put wasknijpers with parts of sandpaper? Into the spokes for that 2 cilinder sound
>>
>>536130412
do you really need to cycle everywhere to be fit? just go for a run and stop eating everything you fat fuck
>>
>>536130002
You are supposed to oil the gears.
Also, temp varies wildly during winter, so metal parts work and deform slightly.
You have to adjust them before going for a ride.
It takes 10 minutes every spring and I leave my bike out in the snow because it's an old piece of junk I don't care about.
Also, cars would also break if you let them rot in snow 6 months a year.
>>
>>536130943
I do those too and also swuatting, but the lower part needs more use. Cycling is truly amazing for that. It sucks, yea, but its based also

From age 12 to 17 me and my friends cycled to school 17km heen and 17km terug. We where all ripped

>>
>>536129851
>Why isnt anyone fixing their bikes anymore?
People don't know how to repair a tire or oil a chain, just buy a new bike instead
>>
>>536131287
Based pollack. Working on your own bike is the whitest thing you could do. My last bike lasted me 20 years (~50k km’s) because I properly maintained it. I have splurged and bought a new bike this year because of a windfall.
>>
>>536130768
That's was me. Hahaha asshole

Yes ... I'm black
>>
>>536130650
I just replaced the inner tubes on my ten year old Haro, one had a slow leak so I replaced them both as a precaution. Took me 15 minutes.
My other bike is a Kona. All my friends have Treks, GT or Specialized. Walmart bikes are for kids or casual riders. Some of them are pretty decent bikes though. Just not meant for heavy use or performance…

Things are actively getting harder to work on simultaneously. The Jews in charge make machines impossible to work on without expensive specialized single-use tools. And finding parts has become increasingly difficult too. Used to be able to get full parts catalogs with every single part and diagram listed and order the parts individually. Now, you're lucky if you can find diagrams at all, and if you do, the parts are incredibly expensive, only sold as part of a larger assembly, or not sold at all. Those in charge are actively creating a generation of men who can't do anything for themselves, it is by design.

I thought I was getting a deal buying a low power (22mph top speed) ebike but I didn't realize EVERY BOLT becomes loose after a few hours of riding using the motor. My handlebars almost flew off coming home. Word to the wise who are considering buying something like that, prepare to become a serial mechanic. maybe it's different if you don't buy chineseum

It's not cool to gain general skills that people call on you for anymore, you know what's cool? gaming a.k.a slight voluntary frustration that feels good at a certain rate per hour and every other skill acquisition journey has to compete with that.
Just repurchase the thing and hope the teenager installing the cables did it right this time.
>>
>>536132859
Yes, bought every single part separately. Frame, support etc. Older bikes are easier to assembly, maintain - and it's way cheaper.

But of course you wouldn't know about that because you define your sexuality by the type of vehicle you have as a coping mechanism to hide your obvious insecurities.

I highly doubt people would like to buy such bike. There are literally thousands of old bikes available for 100 or less euros. And if somebody really wants retrobike, he probably likes to wrench his bikes himself.
And last but not least - if I'd do this for shekels, it probably would stop being fun and relaxing.

I assemble bikes at work sometimes, they're pretty simple desu. Brakes are pretty simple even if discs can be an arse to align. Even gears are pretty straightforwards.
>>
>>536130002
Just keep it inside when you're not using it. I've had the same bike for almost 10 years now and have barely encountered any issues.
>>
>>536129851
my 10yr old bike hasn't broken even after 4 years of use
tho the other day I had the tire replaced for lack of time
>>
>>536135566
oh aside from the chain jumping off but that can be fixed with just a little persistence
>>
>>536129851
I need a big flat bolt thong that goes down into the handle bar into the bike frame or something, I messaged Kink Bikes and they didnt give a fuck at all, customer service sucks and didn't have the part to their own bikes so it sits in the back, broken. Everything is too specialized, tedius and complicated these days.
>>
>>536129851
I fix my bike but my bike has a motor on it because I'm an energy conservationist. I conserve my energy.

Also because I'm not gay.

I don't own a bike. If I want to get somewhere on foot, far away without a vehicle, I longboard. I'm 33 and I think I'll be this way for life.

It's actually surprisingly easy to slow down on a longboard when you're going fast downhill too, you just footbrake or stand up slide.

I just go to eriks bike shop, at eriks you can basically get whatever you need and then some. Eriks repairs bikes, tires, chains, gears etc. They even help me put turn signals on my bike (I dont actually use them) which i thought was pretty cool. They even have coffee and water in their lobby. Eriks has a lounge with comfy chairs where you can wait while they change your oil or perform a tune up. Thats why for me its always been eriks. Their staff is so kind and welcoming, with their blue and pink hair and overwhelmingly lesbian staff. Yup, for me its eriks.
>>
>>536129851
I’m good at fixing tires, replacing them or even patching them, even good at fixing the gears, one thing I never got good at was brakes. I take it to a bike shop at pay some dude 40-60 bucks to dust my brakes for me on occasion. They get it fucking perfect. I make em either too loose or too tight,

I'm just used to it man. why change if you're used to something?

Better yet, another question -- why own a bike?

I have an electric car so the last time I longboarded because I had to get somewhere was like 3 months ago.
>>

>waxed chain
