But modern "history" is all about tearing down the great figures of the past to "re-imagine" history, so yeah, ironically, the world order he helped usher in and sacrificed millions of lives and the british empire to bring about is part of the reason so many people shit on him today. If he could see what consequences his actions would have, he probably would have let hitler win, imo.
