Despite France's government telling people to STOP using their AC and STOP buying their new AC to fight against global warming in 44 degrees weather, the Mayor of France bought, and told his fellow citizens to buy a NEW and CHEAP AC unit from China to fight against the HOTTEST YEAR ON RECORD happening in France. This is despite the EU warning all Europeans on China's OVERPACITY of goods and to STOP BUYING FROM CHINA.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT ALL THIS?

ESPECIALLY EUROS?

WHY ARE YOU GUYS BUYING ACS?

STOP IT!
>>
Hes probably worried about the grid. You guys having brown outs or is that just a thing for shitting american infastructure?
>>
Well, it's cheap and goood, so just grab them.
SEA and Africa are doing the same thing.

that's a traitor to europe you see there.
We don't need ACs
>>
>we
You're nothing.

Nice, never realized me buying knockoff anime figures was a revolutionary act.

Why are EU Yids so much against people buying stuff from China?
Don't tell me it's to support the local industry, because nobody's going to manufacture plastic crap in Europe.
Or portable split ACs, for that matter.
There's no rational argument for it. It feels like the only reason they want to dissuade people from buying Chinese is that they're mad EU citizens found small ways to improve their lives despite the EU's best efforts.

Europe only has a couple of air conditioner manufactures, that aren't assembly plants (assembling final piece). Even with the low consumption of ACs in Europe, the ones that make ACs in Europe barely makes up a small percentage of total consumption.

Makes it bizarre they would stop their own citizens from buying ACs when countries across Europe are hitting 40-45+ degree weather, while hundreds die a day every time a country spikes above 40.

thanks, this is pretty much what i meant
they're not helping any local industries by banning Russian oil, by banning Japanese wakame, by putting punitive taxes on Aliexpress stuff or by emphatically telling people that using Chinese ACs is un-European

the only thing these measures are good for is making life suck a little more for EU subjects (can't call ourselves citizens at this point)

I have never experienced brown outs lmao I live in Florida. Only time the power goes out is when there is a F4/5 Hurricane tearing through the state
>>
>>537986408
The first time I heard the term brownout was when it was happening to Paris. Can't remember what year that was.
>>
Everyone in the EU makes 24K/year after tax if we didnt have cheap chinese consumer goods we'd all be living in our moms house at 45 and riding a bicycle to work, like the dutch. Thank you china
>>
>Paris classrooms reach 44C
They're just being welcoming to the New Parisians. Making them feel right at home :)
>>
>>537986285
Think of all the poor niggers who have to live like theyre still at home
>>
>>537986285
air conditioning units like that probably aren't big enough to cool down an entire home, let alone a school.

Who knows, maybe Europeans will start building homes with central air [ducts around the house, with a furnace in the basement and an AC unit outside]

my termometer sign 32, but science says is 36

:(

That just unlocked a memory, can't recall what grade I was in but we were sweating our balls off because no ac. Wasn't even that long ago.

Cannot wait until the EUcrats start a trade war with China.

It will be funny to witness.

Plot twist: USA will make some deals with CN leaving the EU out.
