Some more things I love about ChinaThe language is... I wouldn't say BETTER than English. I like English and am honestly sorta glad it's now "the global default" rather than Chinese in some ways. If you were to invent a new word there would be no way to write it. Loanwords are messy garbage since they have to be a combination of existing words used phonetically regardless of their meaning. Sometimes you get poetry, like Meiguo for America, which is sort of close phonetically but means 'beautiful country.' Another good one is Hanbaobao for hamburger, but it uses two different characters for 'bao'. The last one is for the bread rolls that often contain meat, but the first meand fort, similar to "burg," and Hanbao is Chinese for Hamburg, so hamburger in chinese is "Hamburg Bao" which is a very accurate way of describing a hamburger, with the addition of the common chinese diminutive of doubling a word. Oftentimes its confusing garbage, though.
