I should preface this by saying that while I do hate Israel, I intend for this analysis to be purely objective. It is often claimed that Israel is in its strongest position ever or that Israel doesn't need the US to help prop it up for a myriad of reasons, but I find these assumptions ridiculous, and I have three things to point towards in order to corroborate my view. Israel's demographics, its international relations, and its geography.
Let's start with the demographics, at a first glance it would seem that Israel actually has outstanding fertility rates for a first world nation with a tfr of about 3 children per women. However, this total does not account for the differences in birth rates between different religious groups within Israel. Among the secular jews of the country 2 children per women is the average, in line with the rest of the developed world, which means that their positive birthrates are caused almost solely by the haredi jews which have an astonishing 6 children per women on average. Why does this matter? Because Israel as a country is held together by its secular majority and has been since its founding. They are responsible for their tech sector, they comprise the majority of soldiers in the IDF, and they overall contribute heavily to the Israeli economy. In comparison with haredim which are exempt from enlistment, fairly uneducated outside of the Torah, and oftentimes do not even work (while recieving stipdeds from the government mind you), they are not exactly an enticing replacement. This problem is only worsened by the severe brain drain Israel is currently experiencing, losing around 200,000 people to emigration from 2023 to now, the majority of them highly educated professionals. Funnily enough this has formed a sort of negative feedback loop where younger Israelis steadily get more and more reactionary which causes more of the wealthy urbanite liberals to decide to just up and leave. On top of this, Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza still outpace Israelis as a whole on fertility with around 3 and half kids per women, which brings me onto my next point.

International pressure and the west's innevitable decoupling with Israel is an often neglected point when it comes to discussions on the topic, with most mentions being handwaved away as irrelevent due to the prospect of other powerful countries (namely Russia or China) picking up Israel in lieu of the west. This is obscenely short sighted for a big reason nobody seems to wanna mention, the extreme cost of the US's cultish devotion to Israel extends beyond merely the direct military aid we give them, and it is just not worth it. Yes, it is true that Israel could survive without the billions it gets annually from the US (although not easily like some pretend they could), but what about the billions in direct aid we give to Egypt and Jordan to placate them and ensure they don't stir the pot with Israel? What about the f35 parts, refueling tankers, and THAAD missiles that are all placed in the region in order to protect them from Iran? Most importantly, what about the US's commitment to utilize its UNSC veto in order to protect Israel from sanctions? Our entire military posture in the middle east is designed primarily around two things, securing gulf oil and protecting Israel, neither Russia nor China has the capability or even the will to replace the US as Israel's main benefactor when it comes to all these things. Not to mention that any potential technology and intelligence sharing (which I will admit the US does benefit from, not enough to justify our ridiculously one-sided relationship with Israel mind you) would immediately be nullified by Russia and China's muslim allies in the region pressuring them not to do so, neglecting Iran, if the GCC and Egypt could divest from Israel without jeapordizing their relations with the west, they would. Hell, Russia and China already have significant muslim minority populations in breakaway regions that they routinely have trouble quelling, they could never get away with the naked and brazen support for Israel that we can.

Israel does not have an enviable position on the map, chief among the reasons for this are the neighbors it constantly antagonizes (yes, even the dictatorships it ostensibly has peace with). Much like South Africa was, Israel is a nuclear armed rogue state surrounded by enemies it has made, but unlike the South Africans the Israelis have a huge absence of natural resources they can utilize as leverage or as a way to become self sufficient for a few decades. For instance, it is often claimed that if Israel were backed into a corner militarily it would simply cause them to start bombing their enemies with less precision and more wanton destruction, with the potential use of nukes even. Apart from the fact that this is hilarious and stupid just by going and looking at all the intact buildings in Gaza, Israel cannot go "all out" because they are in a way more precarious position than their enemies for one main reason: water. Israel utilizes desalination for over 85% of its freshwater needs, and the vast majority of this water is processed in 5 (yes just 5) desalination plants along the Mediterranean. This is the entire reason Israel/US haven't attacked Iran's power plants and bridges despite saying they wish to and could do so, all Iran or any of its proxies with guided missiles have to do is launch a couple dozen at each desal plant like they have at Haifa's refinery and it effectively turns Israel into an anarchic wasteland.

Even in the off chance Iran suddenly collapses in the coming months, Israel has already designated its new enemies in Turkey and Pakistan (alongside heightened tensions with Saudi Arabia, Algeria, and Egypt). In fact, they are already trying to cultivate ties with other countries to counteract this percieved threat via their so-called hexagon alliance primarily composed of India, Greece, and the UAE while also potentially including Ethiopia and Morocco. In fact, proxy wars between these two groups are already unfolding in the civil wars and border disputes of Libya, Syria, Sudan, Cyprus, Somalia, and Yemen. Unfortunately however, it's not a very good strategy because most of the countries in this potential alliance are either weak (UAE and Ethiopia) historically very noncommital when it comes to international disputes (India) or are primarily composed of people who hate Israel (Greece and Morocco). So this leaves Israel alone to deal with a whole new set of insurgencies in Syria on the off chance they somehow manage to get Gaza, Iran, and Lebanon to all capitulate in the near future. There will simply be no way for Israel to constantly be at war without an endless supply of IDF conscripts and American weapons, both of which are windows rapidly closing.
All in all what do I think this means? Well as Israeli society gets more and more right wing and more and more extreme, they'll get increasingly desperate and continue to solidify their pariah status in the eyes of the world. They'll officially annex the West Bank like they've been saying they will, they'll continue expanding their "security zones" in Lebanon and Syria, and they'll start sabre rattling at every country in the region. Eventually though, international pressure will mount, sanctions will crush, and most likely a one democratic state type agreement will be reached where Palestinians are allowed to vote since the area would already be defacto a 1SS, just with apartheid in the West Bank and Gaza. Ideally they'd also voluntarily decomission their nukes like South Africa did, but that's far from a given.
