The problem is that people in the West, especially conservatives, are trapped in a spiral of self-inflicted neurotic resentment. They think their countries are much weaker than they really are. In reality America is incredibly strong right now which is why these Iranians need to stop believing in their own bullshit about America being on the ropes just because RadioGenoa and Elon Musk peddle that bullshit online to demoralize the goycattle. No, America is very strong. The moment its power was threatened (Ukraine and Oct 7) they immediately installed Trump and launched a bunch of foreign wars again to protect their dominance. Palestine is being erased without any resistance, Arabs are slaves, Venezuela is now run by Marco Rubio's WhatsApp messages, Iran is at the brink and they need to stop being soft and go for broke. It's not like Arabs can do much besides bitch and complain if their oil gets struck again. Again they are just slaves and vassals, not sovereign actors.

100% accurate. America has never been stronger. I don't understand where this BS about the US being weak comes from. It has never been a better time to be an American. Americans are wealthier than ever, more powerful than ever. In the past, America's military might was checked by the Soviets and their sphere of influence. Now there is no such balance. America is completely dominating in every arena, and the only country that could realistically contest American dominance (China) is doing absolutely nothing. Iran is also doing nothing, which is why I say it's losing. It can win if it had balls, but it clearly doesn't.

I think things will get worse at the end of this year or early next year at the latest
Stockpile non perishable food and supplies, I'm not joking
Oats, beans, rice, large water containers
Also make sure you have a working radio and perhaos get solar panels, inverter and a LiFePo4 batter power pack
Also stock up on lighters should shit get really bad
Have a shit bucket, sanitation is the first to go and the first to kill you if you cant manage it
Also perhaos get a solar cooker for water sterilization and get a robust bicycle with fat heavy duty racks

You dont need to panic quite yet but if there ever was a time to take preparedness seriously it is now

Also: more important than anything else I mentioned
GET TO KNOW CRITICAL PEOPLE AND GROUPS
technisches hilfswerk, freiwillige feuerwehr, your municipal water/sanitation plans, check how they want to handle crisis events in your area pertaining to extreme weather and massed medical emergencies
Knowing these people and being in such networks is more important than any oje or even multiple skills and goods

They lost this war on April 8, when they agreed to the ceasefire.

The US adapted its tactics much better and more quickly than Iran did, no doubt helped by the fact that the US has a practically unlimited military budget. Iran signed its own death warrant by giving the US three months to learn the right lessons and prepare for another round of fighting. Now Iran can only hit targets close to its own territory, and when it does hit those targets they tend to be either easily replaceabe gear (basic radars) or empty warehouses made out of cement brick and sheet metal (average repair time <48h).

Iran has lost at least several dozen soldiers and policemen, several police stations and barracks, several bridges, their main civilian port's communication infrastructure, at least one submarine, and likely dozens of civilians as well; the US has lost under 0.1% of its annual military budget worth of equipment with 0 deaths and 0 injuries since hostilities resumed. Iran is being buried under America's economic power.

There's more to this than just a Strait. Iran's top leadership has been killed, it had to massacre civilians just to survive uprisings in January, it has been completely driven out of Syria and at least a majority of its people want regime change. This is a very fragile state of affairs. All it takes is one massive error for things to snowball and for the government to collapse, sending the country into potential civil war, Balkanization or vassalage. This is an existential war with unprecedented asymmetric strategies and Iran is simply not treating it with enough urgency and power to deter America.

They stopped the bombastic strikes on cities and they've put the assassination strikes on hold for now. Instead they're leaning into their long-term geopolitical strategy, which is to isolate and starve Iran economically through sanctions and sabotage (Iran has been in a perpetual economic crisis since the mid-2010s because of that strategy, with double-digit inflation every year and food insecurity). What they're doing now is cutting Iran off from all trade by sea, and at the same time disrupting vital land supply routes, not just for military vehicles and supplies but for civilian food supplies (the airport they bombed last night is used mainly to fly fresh produce from local farmers to the cities). They're slowly but surely strangling the life out of Iran, in the same way Dönitz tried to strangle the life out of Britain with submarines in 1940-1942 (and nearly succeeded).

Only certain high-unit-value air defense munitions. Their supplies of air-to-ground munitions and ground-to-ground munitions are more than enough to keep going at this pace for months.

The thing about oil demand is that it's not static. As oil prices rise there's demand destruction - certain economic activities cease to happen and businesses reorganize their list of priorities until the price paid for the remaining demand drops to an affordable level again. It's an equilibrium. Also, the US is probably the single most prepared country in the world for that scenario, being the richest country in the world and having a large and expandable domestic oil sector.

Let's address the elephant in the room.
There's obviously something seriously afoot with US cruise missile inventories if they aren't using them. That's the one weapons system that the US shines at. Why wouldn't they stick with what they know works? Why would they suddenly start spitballing with SRBMs that look like a joke compared to Iran's ballistic missile capabilities?
>>
>>539076282
It's 100% true. No other country in the world has anything even remotely resembling the Pahlavist revanchist movement that openly collaborates with their own enemies and wants to be turned into a vassal state. This is a unique problem that Iran stupidly created for itself because it refused proper reform until Khameini sat and died after all his decades of doing nothing. If Iran wants to survive, hit the fucking oil and power plants in the UAE
>>

>As oil prices rise there's demand destruction
We aren't near that point though, oil only went to ~$100, where it was 12 years ago. It needs to go much higher to destroy demand, and by that point you're already in a recession or depression, possibly facing food shortages or starvation in poor countries.

>being the richest country in the world and having a large and expandable domestic oil sector.

Being rich has its benefits but we import over 5 million barrels/day. We have to appease the people we import from because we're dependent on sour crude imports. We export the sweet crude we don't need and excess crude products but we're completely dependent on remaining an exporter and importer, we can't stop the flow in or out without destroying the system.
>>
>>539076346
We talked about this before and the fact that you're pretending we didn't and repeating the same points exposes you as a shill. The US relies on sour crude imports for diesel and jet fuel, it only produces sweet crude in significant quantities. Therefore all the sour crude it buys from Canada and Mexico shoots up on price massively as now Asia needs to buy from them since the GCC is gone, so burgers will feel the pain as much as everybody else. Demand destruction for oil doesn't look like an adapting economy but a massive depression where demand goes down because all the businesses that needed oil to run went bankrupt.
>>
>>539076726
The chimpout will work if Iran doesn't sufficiently punish America for doing it. Ghalibaf should go on Xitter right now and pull a Trump. Threaten that

>Whether they have ... analysis in my opinion.
It is quite relevant, as it would answer where do rights come from in your opinion and what conditions must an invidual cover to be worthy of them. If you claim that states are illegitimate because they act non-consensually then whether all or certain individuals possess rights, what those rights are and their origin is quite central to the discussion at hand.

>I never said ... aggregations of individuals
If something has an emergent property then (by definition) it is greater than the simple aggregation of its parts.

>A society cannot ... it is comprised,
Can individuals arise and live apart from a society?

>and if a ... the action itself.
I agree with the self-evident truth that only individuals possess consciousness and make choices. But it doesn't follow that every useful explanation has to be reducible to individuals. We explain consciousness, markets, and ecosystems at higher levels because those levels capture behaviours that disappear if we only talk about individuals, why wouldn't we do the same for organizations such as societies?

>Transfer of property titles.
Why define a contract as a transfer of property titles rather than as the creation of mutual obligations and rights? Do promises between individuals and other ill-limited/defined concepts like social expectations hold no value or are they to be understood as an exchange of property rights?

And where do said property rights even come from and what do they entail?

>They act upon ... able and willing.
I meant what's the state to do when its individuals have contradictory objectives

>Emergent behaviors can ... component parts individually.
If we're to be reductionist, why would we stop at individuals? Why not see them as nothing but a collection of aggregated cells just as we haved reduced societies and states?

>did the bombs change who's in charge of Iran?
Are we counting Iran's head of state, who was torn limb from limb along with most of his family by American bombs in the middle of Iran's capital not five months ago?

More generally, what the US is doing is disabling the Iranian state's ability to function as a state. It cannot maintain its bridges, because those bridges are being taken out by bombs. It cannot detain people effectively, because its police stations are being taken out by bombs. Soon it cannot ensure a sufficient food supply to the city of Bandar Abbas (between 500,000 and 600,000 inhabitants and totally dependent on food shipments over land and sea, both of which are now largely cut off). Eventually, either all of Iran's population will perish or the reformists will seize control and concede defeat.

I can't even begin to describe how retarded their thinking is. FETNCOM really thinks this relatively small area, just because it's so close to the narrowest point of the strait, is the main reason Iran is able to block it, when they have launch platforms spread across the entire coastline, which stretches over 2,000 km. And that's just the coastline. Most of their launches originate from inside Iran, often more than 100 km from the shore

Nyeah, I think there's some people in this thread who don't understand why striking back on infrastructure in the gulf majorly is the very very last thing Iran wants to do because the retaliation for that will bring about the end of their state, as it were the US is trying to do much the same on a slower timescale, if I had to guess Iran mostly hopes that time is on their side now with the renewed closure of Hormuz, but if they could also start degrading said gulf infrastructure by bits I think that could be good for them

Their economy is in tatters, their leadership is fractured, and their military consists entirely of cheap missiles and drones and literally nothing else. Their whole doctrine was delegating conflicts to regional proxies while they built up the country to be a porcupine of missiles, but this strategy is failing now that the conflict is coming to a head with direct attacks from the US itself in Iran. Not Israel vs the Houthis/Hamas/Hezbollah. It's US vs Iran now.

I don't know what you're main point is, maybe that America can go it alone from the air no less to starve out a port town? idk man you do you.

>>
>>539078939
Attacking the bases does make sense, but only if you continue to attack them constantly. Like 24/7. Day and night. And then follow through on those attacks with some kind of ground attack. Iran only "attacks" the empty bases in response to America's attacks. In other words, it's locked into a tit-for-tat that it will certainly lose. Also, what they target in the bases matters. They're destroying empty hangars and warehouses in said bases.

>It is quite relevant, as it would answer where do rights come from in your opinion
You could just ask the question you want an answer to. Rights can be derived from the principles of action in a world of scarcity as principles which if followed will avoid conflict. If you want the complete chain of logic as to how to arrive at property rights from logic then the books, "Human Action" by Mises, "Man, Economy, and State" by Rothbard, and "A Theory of Socialism and Capitalism" by Hoppe all contain chapters which walk through it in detail. I can't sum it up concisely.
>If something has an emergent property then (by definition) it is greater than the simple aggregation of its parts.
That's a misunderstanding. Snowflake formation is an emergent property of water molecules which is expressed under certain circumstances. We can study snowflakes and come up with mathematical expressions which describe the way they form, and those mathematical expressions could be nearly impossible to derive merely from an understanding of the properties of water molecules, but that doesn't mean that there is actually a platonic snowflake.
>But it doesn't follow that every useful explanation has to be reducible to individuals.
That's like saying that an accurate description of snowflakes isn't necessarily reducible to the properties of water molecules.
>Why define a contract as a transfer of property titles rather than as the creation of mutual obligations and rights?
I can't sum it up succinctly, read this:
https://stephankinsella.com/wp-content/uploads/publications/kinsella-title-transfer-theory-contract-v1.13-2024.pdf
>what's the state to do
States don't act, individuals act. If they act in a contradictory manner then that is what they do.
>If we're to be reductionist, why would we stop at individuals?
From an economic standpoint we could look at the biological economy of the cells in a body, but for organizing society such granular analysis is unnecessary.
>>
>>539078921
You attribute properties to the Iranians that I don't think they really have, khamenei was an 80something year old religious leader, is it worth to completely destroy their state and civilizational project over him? Or do you fail to see that as soon as Iran starts seriously targeting critical infrastructure the same will be done to them, all at once and unrestrained? And that that will bring about their almost instantaneous and utter collapse

No because every time the majority shi'ite population of Bahrain revolts (including at the start of this war) the monarch there is bailed out by the Saudi military coming over that bridge and quelling the riots. If the Saudis can't send their gulf shield mercs over to bash the Bahraini's skulls in, then the protests will get out of hand and a civil war will begin which the momarchy cannot hope to win.

that's clearly not the case otherwise the US wouldn't have shifted their equipment around to avoid losses and is currently spamming HIMARS. Wars are like this. Decisive set piece battles are a very small part of war.
>Iran only "attacks" the empty bases in response to America's attacks. In other words, it's locked into a tit-for-tat that it will certainly lose

Attention ZOG shills, miggers, kikes, and other retards: Iran’s strategy could not be simpler. They are quite simply waiting us (really, our oil reserves) out. USrael wants Iran to chimp because at least then there would be a reason Hormuz is still closed that isn’t “burger wunderwaffles are utterly useless in the face of drone spam and cheap ballistic missiles.” The current state of things is one where Iran is firmly in control and that is something USrael cannot stand. The vast majority of "Bahrain's" riot gear like swat cars and water canons are in Saudi Arabia and need to be trucked over whenever the masses get uppity. Also Iran funds cells in the country you know, they aren't enough to oppose the Gulf Shield force, but in a civil war scenario against just the Bahraini police they'd manage.
