BREAKING- China is saving the West from price gouging Jews, one memory plant at a time

Why don't they keep all the RAM for themselves instead of save the West? It's almost like they need the money or something...

First of all AI is a meme, there is a reason everyone is hiring back people they fired due to muh AI. They are doing DDR5 memory plants, that's decent memory for 80% of people Jew..I hope you get raped by a pack of feral spics

Nope, it isn't some jewish propganda. Chinese tech sites and reviewers tested CXMT's memory and it was ass.

The shit can't even run at its rated speeds most of the time because the quality is so poor. Normally you can jack up the voltage to help out but you can't with CXMT memory as its limited due to the quality of the electronic traces being such that any more voltage will physically destroy the chip.

This is why they have to charge more than the main memory makers because their yields are shit because they don't know how to make DDR5 properly.
>>
>>540124615

Chinese phones are STILL crap and they cheat at benchmarks to make idiot brown people like you think they are good.

Even China's most reputable hardware review site exposed the practice and got cancelled for it:

https://www.reddit.com/r/hardware/comments/1rfw6oj/hardware_reviewer_geekerwan_possibly_censored_by/

And official benchmark companies had to completely remove benchmarks for popular chinese phone companies due to them cheating.
>>
>>540124456

>>
>>540125120
none of that shit matters because we are in a ram shortage, which means that no matter how shit the ram is, if it fulfills basic JEDEC standards it WILL sell for however much CXMT asks for it
>>
File: 1775245753323179.png (55 KB, 839x343)
55 KB PNG
>>540125379
It can't consistently even run JEDEC speeds according to the CHINESE reviewers. The wild variance and poor quality of the memory is a sign of yield issues as they don't have the knowledge and experience needed to make DDR5 properly. This is why its even hard for Chinese people to get their hands on the kit and even when it comes up for sale, it cost MORE than the big three's DDR5.

So its a gamble as to if it will run JEDEC and supplies are very limited due to poor yields so good luck thinking they can make enough to make a meaningful difference in the DRAM market.

Even financial analysts know this thus they have even written off Chinese companies making any impact on DRAM before the Korean companies launch their new memory fabs next year to start driving prices back down.

All evidence points in the other direction. Other than every source of news asserting that fact, there's still little Chinese ram in the international market compared to what they're producing so it must be used mostly internally. That, and the multiple deals made by chinese giants like Huawei, Tencent and Alibaba to pre-order ginormous amounts of RAM and CPUs from the local manufacturers.

>Well, last time the west tried to bargain with the chinks letting them buy chips they straight up refused and said they have their own.
They were willing to purchase H-100s at the time. At that time, there were already talks about adding trackability measures and killswitches to GPUs to avoid China circumventing the blockade. Then, the CCP banned the alternative GPUs offered after having discovered backdoors integrated into those systems.

From official sources, China have roughly 1.4b people. They have quite big domestic market for memory chips. For customer PC, for surveillance camera systems, to facial recognition servers.
If chinese can use domestic chips, then it affect how much Samsung or SK Hynix can sell memory chips in China.
More chinese chips gets sold in China, more korean chips remain available for rest of the World.

It is specifically saying that. He stated that Chinese DRAM is used locally and not hitting the west and you asked him how he knows that, that's when in interjected so this asserts his statement:

Apparently, 30% of all new Android Rams used in newly manufactured chinese phones comes from CXMT alone based on my findings. Chinkphones is like half of their RAM needs.
>>
>>540131874
>If you zhangs are making so much magical DRAM
Here in Latvia, we do not have many chinese. Baltics are considered as kinda "bad place" for chinese investments for like a decade. Started, when Lithuania opened consulate of Taiwan in Lithuania, and called it like that. Not "consulate of Taibei", as other countries tend to do, to appease chinese.
Chinese investments halted like overnight. Baltics were sticking together, thus it affected us all. At the end, we even pulled EU in trade war with China.

No, I am not one of few chinese who remained here (we have fuckton of jeets though).

But now about more of thread topic. In China, there was multiple tech companies, which operated almost exclusively (at least initially) in China. Like, mobile phone companies. Who used some "borrowed" design or tech choices from western companies. So to not get sued for pattent infringement, they just remained to operate in China. Later some expanded to places like China. Probably central asian *stan countries too.
And there is good chance that with CXMT will be similar. That they can comfortably operate in China. When they will have more matured lithography tech.
And I benefit from that, because instead of 700% markup RAM, will be able to purchase 500% markup RAM. From Micron, Samsung or SK Hynix.

Prices legally cannot go down in most markets. If you're the CEO who pushes lower priced ram even if you've got the supply to make the difference back. You'll get sued into oblivion by your board of investors for not pricing your ram similarly to the competitors who are price gouging. Why the fuck would any of your stakeholders tolerate you being in a position to sell more chips than your competition for the same price that's already proving to be a mover?

>>
>>540133008
You can certainly justify pricing lower in order to capture more market share, especially as share is 'sticky', so that even if prices equalize, a customer is more likely to come back to the one who gave them a good deal etc. etc. Fuzzy feelings.
Samsung has done this in many different segments itself, and it outright killed some of their competition.
If any of the big 3 could ramp up supply to kill burgeoning Chinese firms, it would probably be worth it if they are worried about future competition. But this is more complex because of subsidies and so on and so forth.
>>
>>540133688
>I don't think they only compete on prices though

>>
>>540133537
The captive market aspect is big too. They can satisfy local demand but ability to export might be limited, but also the ability to import chips is also limited. So you price at competition while refining the processs further to bring down the marginal cost before you get three years of chip orders

Liber Novo is a fairly new Chinese brand of 'ergonomic' chairs that had a very successful international launch. They are indeed progressing to 'higher prestige local' companies in various fields.
Also, they have a lot of specialty espresso machine that people tell me are worth keeping an eye on (I have had the same set-up for ~15 years so I'll never akshually know how good their stuff is myself.)
Ideally, this specialty coffee equipment is fused with an Indonesia campaign because Indonesia n beans are extremely good and it would probably lead to good, new results (in an already-exciting coffee world.)

Has nothing to do about quality and everything to about marketing. Prada, Armani, Burberry and Louis Vuitton are all built on top of Chinese factories with final touch in Europe to get to brand the product as homemade.
The fact you're conflating the luxury market (99% marketing) with something being high end or qualitative (eg, Zeiss and their photonics technology) says a lot about the distorted way you see things.
Chinks aren't the same as in the 90s where they were mass producing junk. I mentioned Ivonescimab but also their EV battery tech is the best in the world. The world's first is CATL and second is BYD.

Nah. Democratic forces will take Taiwan. China is currently pulling probably about 5 million barrels of oil a day from its spr. With over a trillion barrels in it this can go on long enough for the Americans to deplete theirs. Once the US surrenders the strait, China will go back to refilling their SPR so thst it can outlast a Malacca blockade. Once they can ensure a steady supply of oil products to support the rest of the economy they will open back up the free money spigot. AI is pointless to build out further if your lights turn off and your whole economy shuts down.

Not true at all. Your first question was about the ability of the Chinese to manufacture goods without relying only on price competitiveness but on better quality. You got your answer with the examples of Ivonescimab vs Keytruda and their dominance in EV batteries. That's when you reframed your question to talk about luxury for reasons i already highlighted: they have their luxury brand that only evolve in China which i mentioned above because the Luxury market is 99% marketing and sales. These don't have notoriety in the west for the same reason their shows and cultural influence is weak beyond their borders.

>>
>>540135549
>So why do those batteries only compete on price? Why can't the Chinese companies that make them charge more than American batteries?
Their batteries are better and they sell more EVs than you, not just in China but also worldwide and they're also making bigger margins than you all while being competitive in price for two reasons:
1- They're interested in bankrupting you out of the market, not just in maximizing the cash they make. They want to take all the market share. If you're substantially cheaper, you take customers away from them.
2- They already make more margins than you do because the raw materials come from their country, because the costs of manufacturing are cheap, and most importantly, because they control the whole supply chain from A to Z unlike you who have to rely on foreign actors. The very lithium mine that BYD uses is part of the company's hub.

So in addition to making higher quality EVs, they already have also have significantly lower costs of production which gives them leyway in pricing their goods to be sold.
>>
>>540135837
Thats for CPU's you dumb ass. Memory inherently operates differently due to the capacitance needed. Thus to get more performance and/or STABILITY, you need to apply more voltage.

Do you suffer from debilitating reading comprehension deficiencies or does ignoring the answer and repeating your mantras your one-trick pony go at sophism?
I'll gladly repeat myself:

1. They must compete on prices because they're after the marketshare maximization. In other terms, they also want to deny you the buyer with a tight budget who's ready for the compromise.

2- The perceived comparative loss assumes your price tag for EVs isn't already inflated, it is. And it is because your costs of production are excessively high, unlike the Chinese who's costs are very low. You're handing them an opportunity where they can make good margins and deny you the value proposition of better pricing thus attracting more customers, why shouldn't they?

Lol of course i don't and rightfully so. I've seen the US bully nations not to set protective tariffs because muh liberalism and the second someone else performs better than them they throw all their alleged values and switch their stance.
Just to keep things strait. What China does does not warrant any tariffs or bans. They're not dumping prices as in selling at a loss. They're making their margins and in the case of EVs, generous ones. They just engineered a vastly more efficient supply chain than yours that includes everything from the mine to the port with all the annex industries that they'd need to rely on. Trying to being price competitive to gain more marketshare is the cornerstone of capitalism and what companies throughout the west have been doing.

PS: Trying to block them from selling their goods in your country and creating a bubble around yourself will hinder your growth rather than help.

What chinese often like to do, is to do manufacturing at huge scale. Especially, if there is government initiative behind it.
And yes, in this particular case, it co-incident with Evergrande real estate crash, which slowed down domestic demand.
If there would not have been real estate crash, would they been able to sell all those manufactured cars? Who knows. There still are chance, that there would have been oversupply, but smaller.

Some years ago, chinese had issue with over-manufacturing bicycles.

no, you need to believe I"m a shill in order for you to cope at the truth I've been telling about how china is a paper dragon when it comes to tech.

China needs to stop stealing and learn to actually innovate and lead for once.

>Whatever temporary oversupply they had is only contracting since then, accelerated by the oil crisis of the Iran war.
Dunno. Oil crisis slow down economical growth, which leads to less of disposable income. Which in theory should lead to less purchases of cars (either ICE or EV).

I didn't say those words. Good to know you have to make up an argument to win.

Btw, EV's and AI are things made in the west that China copies and steals.

That is my point and your cope doesn't change shit.

>China’s overall EV exports grew by 77.5% in the first quarter compared to the previous year.
>Volumes across the rest of the Asia-Pacific (excluding China) soared by 101%
You could make a case for your perspective but the current events points in the opposite direction so far. The Iranian oil crisis wasn't fatal to the global economy in ways that would hinder trade in such ways but it served as an alarm bell to Asian countries that are over reliant on foreign oil to hedge their options.

>>350,000 EVs in March alone,
Hormuz crisis kinda started in March (or end of February). So those cars probably already were en route to their markets.
Now, when we are several months into that bullshit, we more and more see impact on it.
Germany are laying off thousands of workers in their automotive industry. But it is partially because their government decided to close remaining nuclear stations, while knowing that there will be energy deficit. Which made bunch of their companies unprofitable, which lead to bunch of layoffs.

Higher energy (oil, gas) prices also lead to higher electricity prices. Which makes EV less attractive. We experienced it shortly after Russia invaded Ukraine, and we had spike in electricity prices (ban on russian gas). There was time, when it was cheaper to drive with ICE car, than with EV. Now things has more stabilized (more wind and solar farms), so EV in cost-per-km become advantage again.
Will it be in other markets too? who knows.
>>
>>540139384
CXMT has about 8% DRAM market share by revenue, according to this. More importantly, they are working to rapidly expand production, which is what OP's post is about.

It started in the last day of february yeah, though i'm not sure about the en route to their market argument. 349,000 units in March but 435,000 units in May

the OP's article is baseless speculation. you have to learn to read headlines and bylines. when it comes to clickbait, they say things like "could" and "is looking to" or "plans". Let me know when it becomes real and they are putting quality product AT VOLUME onto the market. Its pure copium until then.

Also, DDR3 and DDR4 markets that the big three abandoned are the main revenues for CXMT. They have no impact on DDR5, let alone HBM and soon to launch DDR6.

>congrats on winning the english award. english isnt my native language but good for you.
I know. Your native language is hindi and you're indian. That's why you feel the need to hide behind a memeflag. Mine isn't english either btw, it's moroccan darija.
>stop stealing, copying and making piss poor products.
Unlike you i don't need to hide behind a memeflag nor do i need to resort to deflections and call everyone around me chink. Going by the number of people you called chink on this thread alone, the entire board should be made up of chinks.

>>540139841
They don't have to when we let them weaponize free trade and flood our markets with CCP subsidized goods. Our industries operate on such narrow margins that it doesn't take long before this unfair competition destroys them.

>though i'm not sure about the en route to their market argument.
That impact on economy was not yet materialized.
If straight remain blocked for another 2 months, things will become more ugly.
In spring, bunch of our farmers decided not to plant some of crop, because of high fuel and fertilizer prices. How it was in rest of EU, I have no idea.
Then there is Ukraine-Russia crisis. There was reports, that in Russia, some of farmers could not harvest their crop, because lack of Fuel. In Ukraine, they have issues with grain export, because Odessa port (and ships in vicinity) gets bombed.
By now, bunch of fertilizers should be moving from Middle East to warehouses in the World, for next harvest season. Which cannot be done, while strait is closed.

It is expected, that there will be increased food prices after new year (when new, more expensive harvest will arrive). And it might become even more expensive next year (not enough fertilizer).

"Arab Spring" and uprising in Egypt was partially fueled by higher food prices. Thus, on background of less disposable income (more spent for food and fuel), there could be some new conflicts rising.

>They don't have to when we let them weaponize free trade and flood our markets with CCP subsidized goods
Both European and American auto companies benefit from subsidies anon. What makes the Chinese competitive in the EV market is two things:
1. They currently make the best EVs
2. The same company that sells you the car owns the mine that makes the lithium, the refining and processing facility, every vertical integration layer of making the card, and even owns the car-carrier ships that deliver it. They have very low costs of production which allows them to have fat margins while staying competitive.
>>
>>540139901
>They have no impact on DDR5, let alone HBM and soon to launch DDR6.
They do have an impact, because they are workable substitutes for some applications.

Their margins come from exploiting forced Uyghur labor and raping the environment. What are we supposed to do, make slavery legal again and get rid of all environmental protections, just so the chinese can't undercut us?

Better just to ban their products.

but stay on topic. We're talking about china's theft of IP and how they still can't make quality parts with it.
>>
>>540140607
>Their margins come from exploiting forced Uyghur labor and raping the environment
That may be the flashy propaganda. The reality is manpower isn't really the dealbreaker here. As stated above, the same company owns the lithium mine, the cobalt refining facility, the lithium processing facility, the the car transportation ships and every layer of making the vehicle versus the western model of maximal fragmentation of the supply chain which means you're paying a premium at every turn.
>What are we supposed to do
I'm sure countries like Mexico, Argentina and Japan who were bullied into getting rid of their tariffs and bans of foreign products thought the same countries who are imposing them now thought the same. The answer is simple: evolve your economic model because it's clearly being tested. It doesn't mean it's faulty in and of itself, it means there are lessons that could be taken from the Chinese model in organizing and structuring a supply chain. Banning goods will prevent your model from evolving and just cost you the world's markets. Essentially, you'd be falling to the same trap the Chinese fell for when they decided to isolate themselves from the world.
>>
>>540140711
>sure, thats why you're unable to emotionally disengage from my posts because you're bothered by it.
Is that so? I've been rather calm and composed so far. As a matter of fact, i'm not calling everyone who bothers me chink.

>>540137085
No, you are a retard if you can’t figure out why China would sell a product.
>>
>>540140711
How is someone supposed to "prove" that CXMT has had an impact on prices? To "prove" CXMT had an impact on prices, you'd have to rewind time several years, remove CXMT from the market, measure how prices evolve, and see if those prices were any different compared to prices in our current timeline.

In any case, CXMT started producing DDR5 in late 2025

Besides, the text of your article doesn't actually say Chinese memory makers won't impact the market, it says their ability to "materially disrupt" markets is limited, whatever that means. It might as well mean that they won't be able to disrupt the market enough to make prices go down, not that they aren't slowing the rate at which prices climb.
