If women are this liable to commit atrocities like child murder and all responsibility is externalized fully and blamed on depression or postpartum issues, the immediate explanation is that women are functionally dependents of men and society at large. We restrict the rights and abilities for minors to sign contracts, live on their own, vote etc simply for their own benefit due to their stage of development. Yet when women openly claim they require sweeping systemic intervention to mitigate the risk of destroying their own children horrifically, we’re also supposed to accept the claim that they’re fully equal, autonomous individuals deserving of every equal right and expression of proxy power that men have? It’s time to simply start telling women: no. No more special pleading, no more endless rigamarole. You’re either equal or you’re not. You’re either a dependent, in which case you’re protected and provided for but have no voting power and other status over others, or you’re equal and it’s your responsibility to deal with your own mental health problems before destroying innocent children. There is no inbetween. There is no coherent argument where women are fully autonomous and capable of voting and holding office while simultaneously being unable to be held directly accountable for even the most heinous acts (let alone all the smaller stuff they constantly get away with). The final straw has landed; it’s time to return women to their rightful place; in the home, under the direct care and supervision of a responsible man.
