She never meant to paralyze herself or even get that hurt. She just wanted a performative suicide attempt so she could keep getting attention from everyone and ultimately get off like Yates did. She invented the voices and psychosis to add to the bit. An attention craved person like her would love to live out her days in an insane asylum.
