Because state law in the US does not significantly restrict abortions, women have been accustomed to the concept of infanticide as a legitimate part of modern liberated women's lives as they fail to govern themselves with any semblance of chastity, modesty and common decency. Trump's SC appointments have slowed the ball down with the striking of Roe V Wade, but the expectation is still unshakable in blue states that killing your baby is not a grave injustice, but an affirmation of a woman's freedom. If unborn infants' lives are not sacred, then why should we pretend that young children's are too? What difference does it make if they breathe air?
