there are people on this board right now who look at this and seriously argue that people had "plenty of the time to run downstairs". look how big that fucking thing is. going down all those floors via stairways would take well over an hour, and that's assuming you are young and fit and your knees aren't going to implode.
>>
>>542443242
extra harsh spicy hot take:
why survive when it's an epic way to die

epic view, very little if any suffering, remembered for a loong time, the list goes on and on

horrific and fucked up sure, i won't ever deny that, but still at the end of the day it was quite an epic event
>>
>>542443794
shove your head in an oven and keep it there
>>
>>542443242
Well most of the people people did evacuate safely since it burned for a while before collapsing. Many were trapped above the damaged floors, though.
There were like 50k people working in them daily and only about 3k died, including first responders and other people nearby on the ground.

^^^^^ that, no way out but a parachute
should have bought parachute company stocks immediately, bet your ass every big executive in a highrise has one now

Just world fallacy
>>
>>542443242
It took like 90 minutes for the North Tower to collapse after being Hit

If your fit like me and and the stairwell is unblocked you could descend a Story with just a few jumps

You wouldn‘t be going down there walking Speed taking each step individually like some fucking Autist or a geriatric person
>>
>>542444027
I remember at the time bunch of people working on buildings indeed bought a bunch of quick deploy parachutes amongst other scape type devices including ropes and shit
>>
>>542444027
Even a parachute would be risky as hell unless you're an experienced base jumper. Though still better than nothing.

They told everyone in the second tower to stay put and the guy who successfully predicted 2 of the last 2 jihadist attacks on the WTC single-handedly walked an equal amount of those who died out of there anyways. He died searching for more lives to save.
The single greatest American of all time was some fat guy with nothing more than a bullhorn and a plan.
>>
>>542444323
it's a shame that's the spirit that's been getting gradually lost; the spirit to do what you knew was right despite it being the opposite to what you were told to
evaporating into the wind one "but muh right/left" at a time
>>
>>542444188
you would be absolutely retarded not to after that

>>542444214
>still better than nothing.
exactly, only one choice for them and it was splat or burn
>>
>>542443242
I’ve walked down the Tokyo Tower from the main deck. It’s only 150 m instead of the 400 the WTC had, but it only took me about 5 minutes.
So i’d say if you’re not disabled, and not too far up, and it’s not too crowded on the stairs, you could have walked down.
>>
>>542444755
part of it was everyone was working, they were offices, and very high dollar jobs, so many of them weren't going anywhere til they were told to

Living or working in a skyscraper seems like a death trap anytime there is a jew false flag or war.
But the views can be good. Every 20 years jews will do a big false flag like 9/11 in between little false flags that don't knock skyscrapers down.
>>
>>542444214
Tom Burnett unironically believed that he and Todd Beamer were going to successfully regain control of United 93 and land it. Everyone would have been a lifelong base jumper at that point.

yes it's retarded but that's catholicism in general
much as I love Mel he's a cuck about that, said his wife was going to hell as a much better person than him, but he'd get into heaven and he was fine with it since "the chair pronounced it"
>>
>>542445063
It’s not a suicide since they would have been happy to survive and probably hoped that by some 1 in a million odds they got to survive the fall
>>

After watching the video I now understand how the highjacker's passport was found undamaged on one of the streets below. Jet fuel can not melt passports
>>
>>542443242
Atleast you can try, its not like people knew the towers were going to come down enyway.
>>
>>542444973
He retard, the top floors resting on the damaged floors below only had to overcome the remaining resisting forces of one floor that was burning, once the collapse started it accelerated until reaching a steady speed compressing each floor below it. The jet impact damaged many support columns and set large fires on many floors, the giant holes in the building allowed the strong breeze to create a blast furnace affect greatly increasing the temperature and weakening the steal beams in the fire, not melting them, the weakened beams gave way and the collapse started as shown clearly in several videos.

and it just happened to perfectly pancake nearly straight down vertically instead of the top half falling off in a chunk, because this is how buildings naturally collapse and there's never any need for companies that ensure they're demolished in some kind of controlled way

>>
>>542443242
There are people who look at that and will tell you that it wasn't airplanes that hit the WTC.
People are retarded. Most of them can't be helped and aren't worth the effort.
>>
>>542445827
It did fall off in a chunk. This was obscured by the dust cloud, but you knew that already.
>>542445838
>random buildings...well yeah one of them just had a plane crash into it but besides that it's just random buildings why is he even filming
What is it about 9/11 that just compels retards to post?
>>
we're really just so lucky the top part of the tower didn't pefectly compress 2 floors below the burn, hit resistance, and then fall off the side a fly over to fall on several unrelated buildings or anything
or that the weight of its pancaking didn't start it lilting over to one side so the whole vertical height of the rest became distance of buildings it was falling on, would have taken out blocks

so lucky
>>
>>542445964
I'd like to believe it's just so horrifying to them that they can't comprehend it and want to believe something else must have been the case, but the sad reality is they're just teenaged shitskin invaders who unironically think it's funny.

As a NYCfag who was in school and has seen every angle, footage, and story from 9/11, I always imagined I would've just jumped down the middle of the staircase, periodically stretching my limbs out every 5 flight of stairs to slow myself down.

Additionally, as everyone from my city ends up working in a skyscraper over time, I always told myself I would store a 30 foot rope in case something like this happened. And I would tie it at the top of the nearest staircase and lower myself down the middle.
>>
>>542443242
That "plane" is clearly a hologram.
>>
>>542451142
>I would store a 30 foot rope in case something like this happened.
a 30 foot rope is something you work with in something like this cause you have no other choice, lol, if you're preparing ahead of time why not longer
why not several
>>
>>542451252
Just thinking about where I would store it and how much weight it would bear. Feels like 30 foot is a good compromise.
>>
>>542451477
yeah but trying to go down the stairwell of some skyscraper, you'd lose so much more time constantly trying to untie and retie it since 30 feet is nothing, that you'd be more efficient timewise just running down the stairs
>>
I mean 30 feet is like 3 car lengths
>>
get one of those gear things that lets you use it like a brake attached to a chest harness, and enough rope to go all the way, effectively just rappel down
>>
>>542451571
>>542451584
Just trying to skip the fucking line to be honest. But yes I get point. If that 30 foot rope lets me get from the 50th floor to the 40th in 10 seconds that's life or death.

For the record I found a cozy job on the 5th floor so in the event of a mass evacuation I'm good. I've always mapped out multiple escape points.

hell just skip the stairwell and do that out the window down the side
