if capitalism is the best we can do considering its extreme wealth inequality and how so few having so much while so many suffer their entire lives, then civilization is probably not worth it.The promise of civilization was to make everyone's life better and more enjoyable, but if it is only making a tiny few better off while most suffer and toil their entire lives away severing those above them, then civilization has failed its promise. Accordingly so, civilization should be abandoned for not holding up to its promise.
>>542479667We don't even have capitalism. We have financialism.
>>542479667Man, it's been like 13 years since I last saw that video.
>>542480139Capitalism is the engine for inequality. It will always lead to massive wealth disparity and government capture by business interests.
>>542479667Communism is the same way99% of the people starve while a few in power enjoy it all
>>542479667>wealth inequalityyoure viewing it linearly, not exponentially (im serious)>capitalismit only defeated soviet communism so farthat was infested by impatience, corruption and demoralization
>>542479667The promise of civilization is that you won't be eaten by wild animals or killed and raped by barbarians.
>>542479667Whose gonna stop them? FDR came the closest, and they refused to ever let that happen, again.
All systems of government devolve into a pyramidal scheme.Only during great change like war or governement upheaval do the common men have a chance to seize or control various goods and services, but eventually those common men become the new ruling class. This is basic fundamental law and no ruling order or organization can prevent power corrupting, we are human with flaws and we seek to protect those who serve our interests.Capitalism is just an ism like the rest. An idea that doesnt represent the execution. Just survive and reproduce and the rest is meaningless. Its all meaningless really, unless you believe in god and this world is only the beginning of the rest of our lives in the heavens. Why worry about what the caesars do either way? Beat em, join em, go inna woods. Theres no obligation to live we choose to.
>>542479667we have ubercapitalism and corporatism where lobbyists have the gov give them monopolies etc.the big companies need to get broken downHowever, as we invent even more ludicrously effective problem solvers like the internet, ai and robotics, I think capitalism will no longer be able to provide survival for most of its populace
>>542481237thistheir powers and outreach is always ratcheting
>>542479667>if capitalism isWe're not capitalist. No part of capitalism allows a select few to counterfeit money and consume without producing, but that's what our banking system is designed to do.
