Greece was the wildcard, at first they joined the Axis, then switched when UK installed a leader. Took out 1/3 of the Axis, led to Germany sending a massive force to capture it and delayed Operation Barbarossa. The reason the Germans only had summer clothes is because they were not expecting the delay, that's why they all died in Winter
>>543685773Grease was never part of the axis and the few divisions we sent there didn't matter much at all. They were good fighters but that's it.Italians being retarded niggers was not part of the plan but we got Bulgarians on our side and active member of the war too which was helpful .
Italians were fuckers too, they were known as the retreating army to us. Because basically they would attack and then immediately retreat dropping grenades at their feet, the Greeks were ordered to pursue and would trip the grenades. Let that be a lesson kids, the grenade is a retreat tool, you don't throw it at people, you drop it at your feet and fallback.

>>543685945Didn't knew 1,1 million cucknadians fought for their British masters that's a pretty big number.
>>543686042Right after it grease had a very brutal civil war.
>>543685937>They were good fighters but that's it.The mountainous terrain had more to do with it than anything. I don't understand why mountainous countries like Greece and Afghanistan have reputations for being very tough nuts to crack, yet most normies never seem to make the connection as to why that is. It really isn't even all that hard either. In contrast, flat plains countries often get rolled very easily. Doesn't mean the people there suck at being warriors. Doesn't mean the people in the mountains excel at being warriors. At least 90% of it all comes down to the terrain. Nothing more.
>>543686047I'm Greek, my grandfather fought in Greece against the Italians. He also fought in Albania, in Cairo etc..
>>543686100>Doesn't mean the people in the mountains excel at being warriorsHere is a Korean War vet from the Battle of Hill Harry calling Greeks the best warriors on Earth, you have no idea what you are talking about, italians are little maggots compared to Greekshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKLSJ6a3DmU 8:25
>>543685773this is partly correctly and im glad someone is finally brining it up.the part you forgot is that Mussolini also instigated the greece front and hitler was forced to divert forces to mop that up which like you said, delayed barbarosa
>>543685773>delayed operation Barbarossa>the sneak attack on a friendly neutral they could've just not attempted in the first place, or waited until the next year to try
>>543686177Anecdotal
>>543686100In WWI western front it was all flat too but nothing moved because both sides fought extremely hard and with passion. You can be retreating coward faggots in mountainous terrain too. It just gives a handicap to the battle that's all.Italians showed how real retards do it and then Germans pulled in and won every single battle finishing that war with Greece relatively quickly without much casualties.
>>543686100My grampa had to run UP those hills moron.
>>543686310Nothing was delayed or do you think it would be a good idea to invade mongolia in the winter? They betrayed all agreements and they were genociding Wolga Germans so we had to start a 3 days special military operation to liberate the oppressed minorities
>>543685773Greece decided WWI.
>>543686817Grease was an occupied shithole in WWI by Bulgarians of all people.
>>543685773This is a stupid myth, Germans had winter clothes, but they didn't have gear and equipment designed for - 40 degrees winter in general

>>543686177>Here is a Korean War vet from the Battle of Hill Harry calling Greeks the best warriors on EarthSo he's a vet from an unrelated war parroting a popular normie anecdote?
>>543688252low IQ infographic, you should compare like to like, Soviet KIA is just under 7M it's only so much higher because Germans killed lots of POWs
>>543686666Checked>In WWI western front it was all flat too but nothing moved because both sides fought extremely hard and with passion.I think the trench-warfare, machine guns, barbed wire, etc. had a lot more to do with the lines being static than the passion of the soldiers. You can have all the passion in the world, but if you charge across no-man's land against fortified machine guns you'll get turned into swiss cheese. On the other token, the guys operating said machine guns don't need to have any particularly high passion to just sit there and hold that line either.Fighting spirit or "Elan" or whatever you want to call it is over-rated when it comes to modern industrialized warfare. The Japanese thought they would be able to overcome superior American firepower with their mightier "warrior spirit", but the outcome of pretty much every battle in the Pacific theater debunks that idea.If there's a war between brave and honorable warriors and those who have the biggest and best guns, my money is going to be on those with the biggest and best guns, even if they're a "softer" and less warriorized people. That's just how it is from around the time of the Industrial revolution onwards. Now when it came to medieval or ancient warfare? Sure. Your noble samurai bushido knight guys were probably superior to some "soft" opponent, but that's no longer true anymore and it hasn't been for centuries.
>>543686666>Italians showed how real retards do it and then Germans pulled in and won every single battle finishing that war with Greece relatively quickly without much casualties. You invaded from a different direction, via Bulgaria. Here the terrain is less mountainous and Greece's fortifications were less developed and less well manned. They were not prepared to defend from that direction. In contrast, the Italians were invading from a much narrower direction from Albania. Even the Germans would have had a hard time if they had such a difficult front to operate from.
>>543688624america mainly fought shit tier garrison troops in the Pacific, same like at Normandy, you don't have your best units units on garrison duty away from the front, you have your hitler youth & old men with WW1 equipment doing it
>>543686817Greece decided also the Franco-prussian war in 1870.
>>543685945The solution is don't chase after an army feigning a retreat?
>>543688230why those Pompoms tho? the skirt isn't even the problems, but the shoe plushies are too much.
>>543685773You know what really irks me about WW2? Is how the weak and backwards greece could stand up to the Italian fascist powerhouse in the first place. Italy had Ethiopian oil so they should've just rolled them over.
>>543686136my grandfather fought in greece against the greeks but as a cook. he was happy because he had his own personal mule and was always well fed.
>>543688707>america mainly fought shit tier garrison troops in the PacificJapan's best soldiers were in their Kwantung army, which was stationed in Manchuria. But by the time the USSR entered the war and invaded Manchuria they faced little resistance because this army has been depleted by having most of its units and its best equipment sent to defend various islands across the Pacific. These were the Japanese forces which we fought.>you don't have your best units units on garrison duty away from the frontThose Pacific islands in question WERE the front. The island of Saipan, for example, was considered of so great importance to the Japanese that they prioritized defending it at all cost. They did not skimp out on the forces they sent there tasked with holding it. They still lost that battle anyway, and when they did the war was considered unwinnable at that point. That was when Tojo got fired by none other than the Emperor himself.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_SaipanLook it up and see for yourself how important that battle was. The Japanese fought almost to the last man trying to defend that island. They knew they'd lose the war if they lost control of it, and they did.
>>543685773You know what defeated Germany? America. It wasn't greece or Britain. It was AMERICA. The vast amount of material wealth from this country just snubbed them out. Anything else is just cope. Britain was selling lend lease aid for cash after WW2 because they were bankrupt. Britain couldn't even fight WW2 without America giving them supplies via the queen mary. German uboats blockaded Brtain and they were starving.
>>543689090The USA can't be defeated except from within
>>543689039>having most of its units and its best equipment sent to defend various islands across the PacificLmaoNoI've never seen any evidence to suggest that, you have any? we can see the order of battle for saipan, its hardly a impressive Japanese force
>>543689170Also fun fact about the British empire was they had thousands of jeets fighting for them. it wasn't a based white anglo empire. America is made up of millions of European people. it was like the Reich but commanded by jews. it's another abomination today. Trust me i live here and its full of minorities and the only thing keeping America as a union is the USD scam. America or the united states of America lives on oil and dollars these days. Markets. it's a big fat bitch of an empire and it sucks for working class people living here.
>>543686084And ironically they ended up wanting communism anyway. Should have traded Greece for Poland.
>>543689090American wealth and Russian sheer mass of corpses.
>>543689306>I've never seen any evidence to suggest that, you have any?Yes, WW2 is very well documented. Read some books. Or wikipedia articles, even. Picrel.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kwantung_Army>we can see the order of battle for saipan, its hardly a impressive Japanese forceWhen I said the Japanese sent their best forces and equipment I didn't mean they all arrived there, necessarily. U.S. Submarines sank a lot of the ships en route. In most cases the Japanese soldiers were saved and made it, but most of their equipment did not. A lot of that ended up on the bottom of the ocean and we didn't have to deal with it in the battle. But it doesn't change the overall point that Japan gave the defense of this island top priority and sent their best stuff (regardless if it made it). It also underscores the point about how "Elan" can only get you so far. Take the best soldiers in the world, but strip them of their gear, and they're not going to be very effective no matter what their warrior spirit may be.Nonetheless, the Japanese did fight to the last man to try to defend that island. Even if they had to resort to Bamboo spears and bonzai charges.
>>543689039>>543690337How did the Japanese intend to win that battle 3 to 1? Seems America owned them as they could read their military codes and had superior radar technology to pick them off before arriving to the island. So knowing the Americans could predict their arrival why did they sacrifice themselves and the equipment? Thats why tojo was fired because he was acting like a retard throwing away the best equipment and forces just to hold an island.
>>543690007>trade greece for poland>poles are now butthurt belters for the west, claim all their resources were stolen, ignore all the eu and marshall plan aid received
