When Steam first started, people made fun of it or hated some of what it was doing. But now, looking around at the video game space and all I can say is thank fucking GOD that valve was who won the video game marketplace war, because every other company that tried to grab a spot there was fucking cancerous about it.Valve got there first, and turned out to be the least worst, least intrusive version of what the future was going to bring, such that now we are lucky to have them because without them we'd be fucked.
