Section 535 of the Fiscal Year 2026 National Defense Authorization Act takes effect on December 18, 2026 - 70 days from now. The provision, enacted in 2025, is the first in U.S. history to automate the military conscription system.

The government has not yet released the rules that would govern how that system works. Those rules are supposed to specify which federal and state databases the automated draft can access, and who qualifies for deferments or exemptions.

The Selective Service System withdrew its proposed rules in July and has not resubmitted them.

With less than three months remaining, there are still no published guidelines. That leaves open the possibility that citizens could be selected without a clear explanation of how or why, and without a defined process for seeking a deferment or exemptions.

Even if the Selective Service submitted a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking today, the timeline would not fit. Proposed rules must undergo at least 30 days of review at the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, then a public comment period of 60 days. There is not enough time left before December 18 to complete both steps.

Whites got really pissed when Muhammad Ali would not sign his conscription papers.

A draft would be satanic and result in thousands of Americans getting killed along with hundreds of thousands of Iranians.

It's because there is no counter to it
Everything that is said in the OP is 100% factual and I have already linked directly to the legislation. They have no way to spin it so they must attempt to discredit me or bury the thread. It is a simple fact that on December 18th Section 535 of the 2026 NDAA goes into effect with or without the NPRM submitted to the OIRA which means that congress can invoke a military draft WITHOUT rules and regulations which is something that has never happened in all of US history. It is major news that nobody wants to talk about because it makes "both" parties look bad since Section 535 and the decision to withdraw the rules from the OIRA was a bipartisan decision.

So what are you gonna do when that day arrives and nothing happens? They already know they'll face massive resistance. It's why the plan is to make everybody as miserable as possible this winter.
>>
>>543997060
that's right before new congress gets sworn in from midterms

>nothing happens
Congress being able to invoke a military draft without rules and regs is already guaranteed anon. Selective Service does not have enough time to submit a NPRM to the OIRA, they need at a minimum 90 days.
>>

They're doing this all properly timed so the new Congress can continue it, but say their hands are clean. Some kind of good cop bad cop shit.

Ok...and? I'm not seeing why this matters. Congress has long established it's just gonna do what it wants anyway regardless of what We The People think. What's it matter if they're just formalizing the paperwork on calling us slaves?
