Here in brussels nobody is celebrating. I just came out of a gay orgy in the geyropean parliament where we decided to hand over eastern europe to MIGHTY RUSSIA.
We will also be paying reparations in the form of toilets, domestic appliances, cucumbers and boipucci. The latter will be used strictly for disciplinary purposes. Russia is the grandpa of europe and all geyropean petukhs must display buttocks for punishment.
Hopefully this will stop Gerasimov's T-14 Armata Ghost Brigade on its way to lissabon.

Anti zigger is by definition not a zigger, thus doesn't fall into TZD. We made that distinction at the beginning, because there are many anti war russians, despite their atrocities throughout all their history.

Read the background of some of the suicide bombing jihadists. Or 9/11 bombers even. You'd be surprised at their origins. The tl;dr is that they passed into western society. Some even drank, had girlfriends, smoked weed, .etc then later they became zuttsluts again and kaboom or knife attack .etc
You ought to only let these people in if a) they bring you value and b) you have the intelligence infrastructure to keep an eye on them.

Moslem cluture is fundamentally incompatible with high trust Europe or Asia, just like jeets are incompatible.
Russians have an average high iq and european way of thinking, they are just born into a culture that does not need their iq at all. Europe needs all the iq it can get.
I much rather have ten thousand russian non-zig refugees who make pro-west babies, than a single moslem whose son is called mehmet and will drive a truck of peace into a Christmas market.

impeachment has always been available but GOP haven't been incentivized to backstab Trump yet
really bad midterm results for the GOP, ones that confirm beyond all conjecture that the Trump course will fuck them in the ass for the 2028 campaign, could change that
still it would take a very fast Congress about half a year to conduct a successful impeachment+removal, and it won't come into effect until January, so we've got minimum one more year of Trump
I recommend to just be pessimistic and accept suffering him through 2027+28

Sort of. You need 67 senators to agree he's guilty of a crime that disqualifies him from being president. If that vote passes, he's no longer president and Vance takes over.
Currently Reps have 53 and Dems have 47 in the Senate. Only 35 seats are up for election in November. And many of those have zero chance of flipping. The best case scenario for Democrats is ending up with between 53 and 55 seats. To impeach Trump, they would need 15 or so Republicans to flip on Trump and join them, and Republican senators are absolutely buckbroken mentally. Even when Trump stabs them in the back and ends their careers, they still suck his dick.
There's probably many Democrats who would be too cowardly or corrupt to do it, also.
Trump would have to do something profoundly stupid to get 67 senators to vote him out, like ordering one of his political enemies shot or declaring himself the second coming of Christ or something.
I doubt it will happen, but I guess anything is possible.

Russian President Vladimir Putin told U.S. President Donald Trump in a phone call on Friday that Moscow would consider when trilateral negotiations on Ukraine involving the United States and Ukraine could resume, after Kyiv’s large-scale drone attack on Moscow and other targets during the main day of Russia’s State Duma elections last month, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said.
Ushakov said that during a previous conversation the leaders had discussed the possibility of resuming such talks immediately after the elections. “By its attempts to disrupt our elections, launching an extremely massive drone strike on Moscow, other cities and polling stations, and on specific people involved in organising the elections, on the main voting day, the Kyiv regime essentially disrupted the possibility of an immediate resumption of the negotiation process,” he told reporters. “And now, as the president said, we will think about when these negotiations can be resumed.”
Trump listened to the Russian arguments and said he would instruct that the relevant signals be passed to the Ukrainian delegation currently in Miami for contacts with U.S. representatives, Ushakov said.
The call also covered preparations for large-scale economic initiatives, including supplies of Russian diesel fuel to U.S. and global markets, which both leaders announced. Ushakov said Putin and Trump discussed the situation around Iran; Russia’s proposal to transfer highly enriched Iranian uranium to Russia as a possible way out of the impasse remains on the table, and Trump welcomed Moscow’s involvement.
The conversation followed Trump’s birthday congratulations to Putin. Official Russian accounts described the roughly 90-minute exchange as substantive and friendly.

Ukrainian drones struck an oil-loading terminal in Rostov-on-Don overnight on Oct.10, igniting a large fire at the facility linked to the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Products Plant, according to monitoring channels and the independent Russian outlet Astra.
The terminal, in the city’s Zheleznodorozhny district and formerly known as Yug Rusi, handles petroleum products for export and military supply. Eyewitness video and photos showed a major blaze at the site, which has a substantial tank farm; satellite data from NASA FIRMS confirmed the fire. Regional Governor Yury Slyusar confirmed an attack on the Rostov region, several fires, and damage to residential buildings, stating that six people were injured by UAV impacts on homes. Two remained hospitalized in moderate condition, one undergoing emergency surgery. He reported a fire being extinguished at warehouse industrial facilities but did not specifically identify the terminal.
Slyusar also said several multi-story and private houses in Rostov were damaged, an unoccupied new building in Bataysk was hit, a building housing a Magnit supermarket and private houses were affected, and five cars were damaged. Two ships were damaged in Azov, and a railway bridge (the Western Bridge over the Don) was struck, temporarily halting traffic. More than 100 drones were destroyed or suppressed over the region overnight, he said.
Russia’s Defense Ministry said 560 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed the previous night over 17 Russian regions, annexed Crimea, and the Azov and Black Seas.

The strikes came hours after U.S. President Donald Trump announced an agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin for Russian diesel supplies to U.S. and global markets, with volumes totaling up to 1.8 million tons in the near term plus a further 3 million tons shortly thereafter. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy criticized the arrangement, writing that allowing Russia to sell petroleum products was “an investment in a war that must be ended, not continued” and that it would enable Russia to “kill more, fight longer.”

Russia has begun immediately lifting restrictions on diesel fuel exports following agreements between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump on additional supplies to the United States and global markets, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said.
Novak said Russia is ready to supply an additional 300,000 tons of diesel in October to the US market and other partners, rising to 500,000 tons in November and 1 million tons in December, with volumes potentially reaching 3 million tons per month later. “The Russian market will also be fully supplied with diesel,” he said. He added that Russia positively assesses US steps aimed at stabilizing the global energy market and gradually restoring normal energy trade, and is ready for future coordination to create a more predictable market.
The Russian government partially lifted the diesel export ban effective 10 October as part of the arrangements. The ban had been imposed in early July amid domestic shortages caused by intensified drone attacks on refineries and was most recently extended through 31 October for producers.
The US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control has issued a temporary general license authorizing transactions related to the sale, delivery, and importation of Russian-origin diesel fuel through 7 April 2027.

A Russian guided aerial bomb strike on a residential building in Zaporizhzhia on the morning of 10 October killed 20 people, including four children, and injured 17 others, including three children, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said after search-and-rescue operations concluded.
The bomb destroyed an entrance section of a multi-story apartment building; other buildings and private houses were damaged and fires broke out. Early reports from the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Defense Council had put the toll at eight killed (including three children) and 16 injured (including three minors), with 12 people still unaccounted for under the rubble. Rescuers later cleared roughly 320 tonnes of debris. Subsequent official updates raised the death toll to 23.
Elsewhere overnight, a Russian strike on transport infrastructure in Korosten, Zhytomyr Oblast, injured one person and started a fire that was extinguished. In the Buchansky district of Kyiv Oblast, three people were injured by Russian drones and hospitalized. In a Dnipro suburb, drones set cars on fire at a municipal enterprise; no casualties were reported preliminarily.
Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia launched 160 drones of various types overnight, 110 of them jet-powered. Air defenses shot down or suppressed 117, including 82 jet-powered drones. Impacts were recorded at 14 locations and debris falls at 10.

President Donald Trump decided to reach a diesel fuel supply deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy repeatedly ignored U.S. requests to stop strikes on Russian oil refineries, a U.S. official told Axios.
The official said Trump insisted Kyiv halt the attacks unilaterally because they contributed to higher gasoline prices in the United States and did not view them as equivalent to Russian strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Zelenskyy had offered to stop refinery attacks if Russia halted strikes on Ukrainian power plants. “Zelenskyy is misreading the situation. By continuing to strike [Russian] oil refineries, he is destroying the trust he has built with Trump over the past six months,” the official said.
During eight hours of talks in Miami on Friday, U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner told the Ukrainian delegation that Trump was expected to speak with Putin and lift sanctions on Russian diesel exports after the requests went unheeded. A Ukrainian official told Axios that the envoys warned Trump could cut off intelligence sharing if the strikes continued. The U.S. official denied any such threat, saying Witkoff and Kushner assured the Ukrainians that the United States remained a reliable partner providing munitions and intelligence and that Ukraine should not take actions harming American consumers.
Zelenskyy condemned the arrangement, writing that allowing Russia to sell petroleum products was “an investment in a war that must be ended, not continued.” A senior Ukrainian official separately told the Financial Times that Kyiv would continue long-range drone strikes on Russian energy facilities, saying “We will burn [Russian] oil refineries.”

A Russian presidential Il-96 aircraft returning from a summit in Turkmenistan was diverted to St. Petersburg on Friday after Ukrainian drones and aerial balloons prompted the closure of Moscow’s airports for several hours, flight-tracking data showed.
According to FlightRadar24 data cited by The New York Times and independent Russian outlets, several aircraft of the Rossiya Special Flight Detachment, including planes that had flown from Turkmenbashi, either circled near Moscow or diverted. The aircraft with registration RA-96025, on which President Vladimir Putin had arrived in Turkmenistan the previous day, was redirected to Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg before later continuing to Moscow. Other government Il-96s eventually landed at Vnukovo after holding patterns.
It remains unclear which aircraft carried Putin on the return flight. Russian authorities have issued no official comment on the incident. The Il-96-300PU aircraft used by the presidential detachment are equipped as airborne command posts and typically fly with identical decoy planes for security.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said air defenses shot down drones heading toward the capital during the alert that halted operations at the city’s main airports.

Ukrainian drones damaged a railway bridge in the Vygonichi district of the Bryansk region overnight on 9–10 October, disrupting service toward Belarus, regional Governor Yegor Kovalchuk said. The track was damaged; no casualties were reported.
Train traffic on the Bryansk–Unecha–Gomel route was interrupted. The Moscow–Novozybkov train ran only as far as Bryansk-Orlovsky station, with bus replacements provided beyond it (eight buses on the route). The Minsk–Adler train was rerouted via the Smolensk region. Suburban passengers transferred to buses from Vygonichi. Russian Railways confirmed the temporary stoppage. Restoration work on the affected section was completed by 11 October, and traffic fully resumed, the Moscow Railway said.
The incident was at least the fifth strike on railways in the Bryansk region since late September. On 29 September drones damaged tracks on the Trosna–Rzhanitsa section; the previous day an attack on the Dyatkovo–Lyudinovo section collapsed part of a bridge and derailed 10 cars. No casualties were reported in those cases.
In the Rostov region the same night, a drawbridge on the Rostov–Bataysk section was damaged. Traffic was temporarily suspended and later restored. Up to 25 passenger trains were delayed, affecting services to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novorossiysk, Anapa, Adler and other destinations.

Russian forces struck Kyiv on Saturday with jet-powered drones and ballistic missiles, damaging an energy facility in the surrounding region and causing power and water outages that halted the metro and electric transport, city officials said.
Mayor Vitali Klitschko said the damage worsened the capital’s energy situation. Reports identified repeated strikes on the 330 kV Novokyivska substation. Around midday, metro trains and escalators stopped due to voltage loss, and electric transport was suspended in parts of the city. Services resumed within one to two hours but ran with delays and longer intervals. Water supply was interrupted on the right bank as some facilities operated at reduced capacity. Similar outages had occurred two days earlier, when Klitschko described a “survival” mode and urged residents to leave the city if possible.
In the Obolon district, missile debris hit a restaurant, starting a fire. Klitschko reported seven people injured, five of them hospitalized and three in serious condition; the toll later rose to eight, including a teenager. The State Emergency Service said three other fires covering about 200 square meters were extinguished and a one-story building in a residential courtyard was damaged.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the strikes showed Russia’s intent to continue the war and destroy infrastructure. He spoke by phone with French President Emmanuel Macron during the attacks and warned of a continued threat of missile strikes in the coming days, calling for greater pressure on the Kremlin.

Finland will propose that the European Union stop issuing tourist visas to Russian citizens, Prime Minister Petteri Orpo said, citing concerns that Moscow may try to organize sabotage operations in Europe.
“We fear that Russia will try to organize sabotage in Europe. Why then do we let Russians in here as tourists and allow them to move freely?” Orpo told the Finnish broadcaster Yle. He said he would raise the proposal at the European Council summit in Brussels on 15–16 October.
Finland itself has not issued tourist visas to Russians and has barred their entry as tourists since September 2022. Land border crossings have been closed since December 2023. In 2025 Helsinki adopted a law restricting real-estate purchases by citizens of states engaged in aggressive war and threatening Finnish security.
In June, Finland and Sweden urged the European Commission and other EU members to tighten visa policy toward Russians after a Russian strike on the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen said EU authorities should not allow Russians to enjoy European freedoms while their government launches missiles at Ukrainian families. At the end of September the EU began discussing legislative changes that would allow restrictions on visas for entire categories of applicants, such as citizens of a specific country or those making non-essential trips.
On 12 October Valtonen sent a letter to the Commission requesting an end to Schengen visas for Russian non-essential travel, including tourism, along with additional restrictions on Putin’s inner circle, sanctioned individuals, and certain athletes.

Sergei Zakamorny, head of the Russian Defense Ministry’s Forestry and Nature Management Directorate, was detained in Moscow on Thursday on suspicion of receiving a large bribe, RBC reported, citing three law-enforcement sources.
A case was opened on 8 October under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code. On Friday the Khamovnichesky District Court ordered his detention for two months. Investigators allege he received more than 10 million rubles from a commercial structure for “general patronage.” After the detention his name was removed from the ministry’s leadership page and Ekaterina Kharitonova was named acting head. A source said he no longer holds the position.
The case followed the departure for the war in Ukraine of Zakamorny’s predecessor, Mikhail Borisov. Borisov had been detained in 2018 on charges of abuse of authority and a large bribe; the Khamovnichesky Court suspended proceedings against him last Wednesday after he signed a Defense Ministry contract. During the earlier investigation Borisov cooperated with prosecutors, leading to the 2020 arrests of former Defense Ministry official Dmitry Kurakin and former “Oboronles” head Vladislav Kholodkov. They were later sentenced to 17 and 14 years respectively for illegal logging on military lands and bribery with total damage of about 3 billion rubles.

The United States warned Ukraine that continued strikes on Russian oil refineries could lead to a cutoff of intelligence sharing, people familiar with the matter told the Financial Times.
During nearly eight hours of talks in Miami on Friday, envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner raised the possibility with the Ukrainian delegation. A Ukrainian participant said the demand was “a firm request from POTUS.” The meeting was derailed when the Ukrainians were blindsided by President Donald Trump’s announcement of a diesel-supply deal with Russia; the Ukrainian side cut short its planned two-day visit. Ukrainian officials called the demand for a unilateral halt unfair.
A US official earlier told Axios that no such threat was made and that the envoys had stressed the United States remained a reliable partner providing munitions and intelligence while urging Ukraine not to take actions harming American consumers. Trump has said the refinery strikes contribute to higher fuel prices in the United States and are not equivalent to Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
A senior Ukrainian official told the Financial Times that Kyiv would continue the strikes. Subsequent reporting indicated that warnings about suspending intelligence sharing and European purchases of US weapons for Ukraine were also conveyed over the weekend. Trump separately suggested on Saturday that Ukraine should get a new leader willing to make a deal.

Ozon, Russia’s second-largest online marketplace, said it would end access to Ingosstrakh insurance policies covering sellers’ goods against mass damage and drone strikes, effective 13 October.
Existing policies will remain active until 23:59 Moscow time on 12 October. The company cited substantial changes in market conditions for covering certain risks, including mass goods damage and UAV attacks. Ozon said it would fulfill obligations under current policies and was seeking other financial-protection tools for sellers.
The decision follows Ukrainian drone strikes that damaged or destroyed multiple Ozon warehouses starting in late August, after a similar campaign against Wildberries. Data Insight analysts estimated total losses for Ozon and its sellers at about 100 billion rubles. In the first wave of compensation, Ingosstrakh paid out 8.2 billion rubles to roughly 90,000 sellers.
In July Ozon had already amended its offer to exclude liability for claims arising from military actions, unmanned aerial vehicles, counter-terrorist operations, shelling and explosions. It has since offered sellers discounts on placing goods in pickup points or shipping them to Siberia and Kazakhstan.
A lawyer told Kommersant that other insurers were unlikely to fill the gap quickly, given the elevated risks, and that sellers would probably need to arrange their own coverage.

Russian technology company Yandex has gradually restored access to several core services after a third drone strike in four days forced the full shutdown of its data center near Vladimir, but disruptions persist and full equipment recovery may take months.
The overnight attack on Oct. 11 damaged infrastructure at the Vladimir facility, which Yandex said was completely taken offline with no injuries reported. The company placed its cloud platform in emergency mode, described remaining capacity as unstable, and advised customers to activate alternative recovery plans. More than 80 Yandex Cloud services — including computing resources, databases, storage, developer tools and the YandexGPT API — were affected, along with consumer products such as Yandex Music, Telemost, Yandex Dom, the Yandex Pro driver/courier app and taxi booking in Russia as well as Serbia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Armenia. Users also reported problems with Yandex Pay and dependent retail apps.
Vladimir Oblast Governor Alexander Avdeev confirmed an attack on infrastructure in a suburb of Vladimir that caused a fire and took two substations offline, briefly leaving about 5,000 residents without electricity and interrupting water and heat. By morning he said 80 percent of power and all heat and water had been restored; no residential building damage or casualties were reported. Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed its air defenses shot down 479 Ukrainian drones that night across regions, Crimea and the Black Sea.

The Vladimir strike followed a full shutdown and fire at Yandex’s Sasovo facility in Ryazan Oblast on Oct. 8 and partial damage (multiple modules offline) at its Kaluga site on Oct. 9. The three facilities house Yandex’s AI-training supercomputers. As of Oct. 12 the company said services including Alice, Search, Maps, Taxi and Mail were returning incrementally, with priority on high-volume functions, though some features remained unavailable and no firm restoration timelines were given. Industry sources told Kommersant and Izvestia that replacing damaged equipment could take up to six months amid global shortages of computing hardware, with longer delays possible if server modules or supercomputers were severely affected; cloud prices are expected to rise.

Republican lawmakers are drafting bipartisan legislation to bar all U.S. purchases of Russian oil in response to President Donald Trump’s temporary easing of sanctions on Russian diesel, with one co-sponsor calling the move a “disgrace” and a sign of weakness toward Vladimir Putin.
Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, co-chair of the Congressional Ukraine Caucus, said on X that the measure, titled the “Ronald Reagan Peace Through Strength Act,” would block any and all purchases of Russian oil and would be forced to the House floor via discharge petition, where he predicted it would pass overwhelmingly. Rep. Don Bacon of Nebraska has agreed to serve as an original co-sponsor. As of October 12 the bill had been announced but not formally introduced; House voting is not scheduled until after the November 3 midterm elections, and the current congressional term ends in January.
The legislation responds to the October 9 announcement by Trump, following a call with Putin, that Russia would supply more than 300,000 metric tons of diesel immediately to U.S. and global markets, with additional volumes to follow. The Treasury Department issued a general license authorizing related transactions, including imports into the United States, through April 7, 2027. U.S. diesel prices had been running near $6.27 a gallon. Bacon told Ukrainska Pravda the decision looks like weakness and that the United States should stand with Ukraine rather than prioritize short-term economic gain; he said a number of Republicans disagree with the president and that the step creates the impression of helping Putin, calling it a disgrace. He noted polling showing roughly 70 percent of Americans support Ukraine.

In the summer of 2010, Russia experienced abnormal heat and a severe drought, followed by a wave of forest fires. More than a third of the country's sown areas were affected, and the harvest forecast fell from 100 million tons to about 60-70 million tons (which barely covered the country's domestic needs).

To avoid a shortage of livestock feed and to contain a sharp rise in bread prices within Russia itself, on August 5, 2010, Vladimir Putin signed a decree imposing a temporary ban on grain exports. The embargo was in effect from August 2010 to July 1, 2011.

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson called the easing of restrictions sickening and said it effectively forces American drivers to help finance Russia’s war; he argued that blaming Ukraine for the price spike is misplaced because the rise began with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, and that Russian oil and gas should return to world markets only after a free, sovereign, independent Ukraine. Retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, former U.S. special envoy for Ukraine, said on Fox News that Putin appears to be using the diesel arrangement to shield Russian refineries from Ukrainian strikes and that Ukraine should continue those attacks as a legitimate wartime operation.

Western intelligence agencies have warned European defense executives that Russian services are intensifying efforts to assassinate them as part of an expanded hybrid campaign aimed at weakening support for Ukraine, the Financial Times reported.
Officials from five European intelligence services told the FT that the Kremlin has ordered an increase in sabotage and other hybrid operations in Europe to undermine backing for Kyiv in the coming months, amid a battlefield stalemate and strains on the Russian economy. Assassination attempts against civilian targets in Europe, once viewed as largely off-limits even by Russian agencies, are becoming a more prominent element. Targets include chief executives and senior staff at defense companies, with particular focus on smaller firms that manufacture drones or components.
The GRU is described as the primary organizer. Sources said it is expanding cooperation with organized-crime groups, using cross-border agent networks, and dividing reconnaissance, logistics, planning, and execution across different cells rather than relying on single disposable agents. A senior European intelligence official told the FT that the threat level in Europe has risen for both property and people. European services have identified and disrupted several prepared operations and have detected surveillance of potential targets near homes and workplaces in a number of cases.

Germany’s BfV has increased contacts with defense-company leadership and staff and has recommended hiring private security. BfV President Sinan Selen has warned German lawmakers that Russia is deliberately preparing attacks on individuals and that organized-crime groups are increasingly involved. Several defense executives told the FT anonymously that they had strengthened personal protection over the past six months on intelligence advice; others do so only for foreign travel. Industry figures expressed concern that protection costs for staff and facilities could become a significant burden, especially for startups; one company relocated production within Western Europe because of the threats.
Intelligence officials said the operations aim both to eliminate specific individuals and to intimidate the sector so that firms hesitate to work with Ukraine. They also noted that some suspected Russian agents have acted unprofessionally, aiding detection and disruption.

Ukrainian drone strikes on three of Yandex’s five major data centers may have taken all three of the company’s supercomputers offline, the independent technology outlet T-Invariant reported.
The facilities in Sasovo (Ryazan region), Kaluga and Vladimir were hit between the nights of 7–8 October and 10–11 October. Sasovo housed Chervonenkis — Yandex’s most powerful system, which ranked 19th on the global TOP500 list after its 2021 launch but later fell into the second hundred amid sanctions that have limited hardware upgrades — and Lyapunov. Vladimir housed Galushkin. All three systems are used primarily to train neural networks. Yandex has not disclosed the condition of the machines. The company completely halted operations at the damaged Vladimir site and earlier shut or partially disabled the others. It retains two further large data centers in the Moscow region.
Users in Russia and abroad reported service disruptions. Yandex Qazaqstan said it was working to resolve issues; the Russian company warned that damaged data-center infrastructure could cause failures across its services, including support. Third-party platforms running on Yandex Cloud, including the Dodo Pizza chain, also announced outages. Monitoring sites recorded problems at retailers, logistics firms, an airport website and other services.

T-Invariant noted that of Russia’s six largest supercomputers, only Sberbank’s Christofari and Christofari Neo systems in Skolkovo remain relatively protected from drone attack. Experts told the outlet that restoring systems of this class would be difficult even with funding, given global shortages of chips and components, and that Yandex had built the centers for peacetime conditions. Sources familiar with the infrastructure told The Bell that the loss of one data center is manageable, two creates serious problems, and three — as has now occurred — threatens core services.
Against this backdrop Yandex updated its user agreements with an explicit force-majeure clause covering military actions, terrorist acts involving drones and missiles, the consequences of shelling and explosions, and large external accidents at energy and communications facilities. The company told RBC the changes clarify and unify provisions already present under Russian law and in many of its service terms.

The European Commission is preparing proposals to tighten visa rules for Russian citizens amid concerns over sabotage and other hybrid attacks, with the initiative expected early next year, Politico reported, citing EU officials.
Poland, Sweden, Estonia and several other countries have pressed for stricter limits, including measures aimed at participants in the invasion of Ukraine. Russians received roughly 478,000 Schengen tourist visas last year, many of them multiple-entry permits that allow repeated travel without fresh applications.
Swedish Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer told Politico the existing system creates security risks given fears of Moscow-backed sabotage, arson and hybrid operations, and that the European visa regime has vulnerabilities adversaries can exploit. He welcomed growing support for tighter rules and said Sweden would prefer Commission proposals before 2027.
Estonia has proposed a full entry ban for former Russian armed-forces personnel who fought in the war against Ukraine — an estimated 650,000 people, according to Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna. He argued that an EU-wide approach is required because, in his view, former combatants could enter Europe with Russian intelligence support and help prepare attacks.
Migration Commissioner Magnus Brunner has urged member states to issue fewer visas to Russians, noting that numbers stopped falling after an initial post-invasion drop and that tourist status alone does not reveal who is entering.

In June, ministers from nine EU countries plus Iceland and Norway called on the Commission for a unified approach, warning that fragmented policies could weaken pressure on Russia. Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo has said Finland will propose ending Russian tourist visas at the 15–16 October EU leaders’ summit. In late September the EU also discussed possible legislative changes to restrict visas, including on nationality grounds.
