Collective Security Treaty Organization forces began two linked exercises in Belarus on Sunday, practicing peacekeeping operations and responses to biological threats.
The command-staff exercise “Indestructible Brotherhood-2026” covers preparation and conduct of a peacekeeping operation by the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces. Concurrently, the special exercise “Barrier-2026” trains the joint radiation, chemical and biological protection and medical-support formation to eliminate sources of biological threats within the peacekeeping forces’ area of responsibility.
Contingents from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan are taking part, together with law-enforcement, internal-troops and national-guard units plus operational groups from the CSTO Joint Staff and Secretariat. The organization said more than 1,500 servicemen and over 300 pieces of armaments, military and special equipment, including about 80 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types, are involved.
Opening ceremonies were held on Oct. 11 in Vitebsk and at the Starodorozhsky range; the practical phase runs through Oct. 16 at the Losvido and Starodorozhsky training grounds.
Lieutenant General Ruslan Shpekbaev, deputy chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, said “conflict potential” in regions bordering the organization’s area of responsibility continues to rise. He listed Russia’s 2026 chairmanship priorities as maintaining high readiness of peacekeeping forces, refining the regulatory basis for their use, developing the joint RCB and medical-support formation, introducing new scientific and medical technologies, and improving military-civilian cooperation.
CSTO officials have described the drills as routine and not directed against any third country.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday he would organize presidential elections if Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to a 60-day total ceasefire, responding to U.S. President Donald Trump’s call for a change of leadership in Kyiv.
“If President Trump really wants to have some changes during the elections, I also shared this with his team — please tell Putin: give us two months, 60 days of total ceasefire, 60 days, and we will organize elections. Of course, we will be ready for any choice of our people — exactly Ukrainian people,” Zelensky told ABC News’ “This Week.”
He said the choice of leader belongs to Ukrainian society and that holding elections during wartime is extremely difficult under martial law, which has been in force since Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022.
Zelensky also addressed criticism from Trump and Elon Musk. Musk posted on 10 October that Zelensky “has gone too far” and that it was time for Ukraine to get a new leader. Zelensky said Trump and Musk cannot find a way to stop Putin and therefore pressure others. He rejected attempts to link rising fuel prices to Ukraine, stating they are increasing “because of the war in the Middle East, of the blocking of Hormuz. Everybody understands it.”
Trump had said on Saturday, a day after announcing a deal for Russia to supply large volumes of diesel to ease sanctions and lower prices ahead of U.S. midterm elections, that “I think it’s time for Ukraine to get a new president.” He criticized Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries, saying Washington had asked Kyiv not to attack facilities linked to diesel supplies because the strikes drive up prices that hurt American farmers, and that Zelensky could have made deals to end the war but does not.
Zelensky has previously said elections require a sustained ceasefire. On Sunday he also indicated Ukraine was ready to halt attacks on Russian refineries if Moscow stopped striking Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced Sunday that Russia and Ukraine had agreed to an immediate energy ceasefire, writing on Truth Social: “Effective immediately, there is an ENERGY CEASEFIRE in the War between Russia and Ukraine. Both parties have agreed. Do not break it!”
He gave no details on scope, duration or verification.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told Axios the announcement was the first he had heard of any such deal. “If President Trump negotiated it with Putin, please tell us when the ceasefire begins. We are ready and we will accept it,” he said. Ukraine has repeatedly stated it is prepared for a reciprocal halt to energy strikes if Russia stops attacking Ukrainian power infrastructure, but has insisted on real guarantees.
A senior Ukrainian official told the Financial Times that Kyiv had no prior information and that Russian attacks on the energy system were continuing. Repair crews were restoring power and water in Kyiv after recent strikes. Zelensky later reported Russian hits on a power plant in Kyiv and facilities in the Kharkiv region after Trump’s post, and on Monday accused Moscow of already violating the claimed ceasefire. Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries appeared to pause overnight following the announcement.
>>
>>544201542
2/2

The Kremlin has not fully confirmed the deal. Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday that contacts were continuing and declined to specify whether any truce would cover only refineries.
Trump has previously announced an energy ceasefire (mid-September) that was not confirmed by either side and did not hold. The latest statement follows days of U.S. pressure on Kyiv to stop strikes on Russian oil refineries after Trump reached a temporary diesel supply deal with Vladimir Putin on 9–10 October, easing sanctions so Moscow could release large volumes of diesel to U.S. and global markets. Trump has linked Ukrainian refinery attacks to rising diesel prices affecting American farmers and has urged Zelensky to halt them. Kyiv has offered reciprocity in return.

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine’s largest remaining steel plant, has begun the process of placing operations into cold shutdown following repeated Russian missile attacks.
Primary steelmaking has already stopped. Over the next two months the company will carry out a controlled, safe shutdown of remaining processes and then mothball industrial assets so that production can be restarted once hostilities end. The nearby iron ore operations are also being halted.
“I want to emphasise that a cold shutdown is not simply a suspension of production,” CEO Mauro Longobardo said in company materials. “Our number one priority is to protect our people and industrial assets so that we can resume operations at the earliest possible opportunity.” He added that the ArcelorMittal Group is not leaving Ukraine, but that safe operation is impossible while the war continues. Restart options will be discussed with the Ukrainian government when conditions allow.
The decision follows four missile strikes in recent weeks that, according to the company, killed six employees and injured more than 18. The most recent of the attacks occurred on 21 September. On 25 September ArcelorMittal had already informed the Ukrainian government that it could not safely and sustainably restart the plant and expected an impairment charge of around $1 billion.
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih became Ukraine’s largest integrated steelmaker after the 2022 loss of the Mariupol plants Azovstal and Ilyich Iron and Steel Works. Pre-war capacity was about 4.9 million tonnes a year; wartime output had already fallen by roughly two-thirds before the latest strikes. Together with Metinvest’s major plants, which have also been hit and largely stopped, the facilities previously accounted for about 90% of Ukrainian steel production.

Vladimir Koltsov, deputy director for infrastructure and capital construction at the Chemical Automatics Design Bureau (KBKhA), a Roscosmos structure, has been in pretrial detention since mid-September on charges linked to the alleged embezzlement of more than 5 billion rubles under state defense contracts.
Investigators from the Voronezh region Interior Ministry’s organized-crime unit accuse him of exceeding official powers with grave consequences as part of a group (Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code), an offense carrying up to ten years’ imprisonment.
According to the investigation, in 2021–2024 KBKhA paid advances totaling over 5 billion rubles to contractors Nagval Stroytekh and Garant-Stroy. The contracts covered construction of production infrastructure for spherical pressure vessels (ball-tanks) used in rocket and space hardware, and a consolidated facility for liquid rocket engines for Soyuz launch vehicles at the KBKhA site in Voronezh. The contractors completed work valued at only about 535 million rubles before KBKhA unilaterally terminated the agreements. Investigators allege the firms never intended to fulfill the contracts fully and disposed of the remaining funds at their own discretion.
>>
>>544201855
2/2

Koltsov is accused of signing the contracts, providing management with false information on progress, and deliberately concealing missed deadlines to avoid disciplinary action. When questioned as a suspect he refused to testify, citing Article 51 of the Constitution (the right against self-incrimination).
A related case against Sergei Gutenko, head of Nagval Stroytekh, is already before the Sovetsky District Court of Voronezh. Gutenko was placed on an international wanted list, detained in Thailand in February, deported to Russia, and has pleaded guilty to fraud. The next hearing is scheduled for 14 October. A hearing on extending Koltsov’s detention is expected around 18 October.
KBKhA is one of the main design bureaus for liquid rocket engines used on space launch vehicles and ballistic missiles. In 2019 it was merged with the Voronezh Mechanical Plant to form a local rocket-engine production center within Roscosmos.

Russia has not confirmed agreement to an energy ceasefire with Ukraine announced by U.S. President Donald Trump, Axios reported on October 12, citing informed sources. A White House interlocutor said Russian officials were reviewing the proposal and that clarity on their readiness was expected soon. The arrangement, as described, would cover only mutual cessation of attacks on oil refineries, with possible later extension to power plants and grids if refinery strikes end.
A Ukrainian official told Axios the “refinery-for-refinery” terms were unequal, noting Russia’s extensive refining network against Ukraine’s single partially operational facility and Ukraine’s reliance on imported diesel and gasoline. The official said Kyiv required a halt to Russian strikes on its broader energy system. A separate White House source said Trump was pressing Ukraine to stop refinery attacks because of their effect on U.S. gasoline prices and was angered by what he viewed as Zelensky taking U.S. support for granted.
Trump announced the ceasefire on October 11 via Truth Social, stating both sides had agreed and that it was effective immediately. Zelensky said the announcement was the first he had heard of any such agreement and asked for details on timing if Trump had negotiated it with Putin. He later stated he had ordered Ukrainian forces not to strike Russian energy infrastructure and expected a reciprocal step from Russia. Zelensky noted prior Ukrainian de-escalation proposals had been rejected by Putin and said Ukraine sought a real peace.
As of October 12, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said contacts continued but that Moscow had nothing to announce on the matter. Russian strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities continued after the announcement, according to Zelensky, who said Ukraine would respond if Russia did not accept the terms.

The Trump administration threatened to suspend intelligence sharing with Ukraine and halt the PURL mechanism for procuring U.S. weapons if Kyiv continued strikes on Russian oil refineries, Financial Times reported on October 11–12, citing European officials. The officials said U.S. representatives made the threats in calls to Kyiv and European capitals over the October 10–11 weekend. “They are calling Kyiv… they are calling everyone [in Europe],” one official told the FT. Among those contacted was Pavlo Palisa, military adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and former commander of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade. The White House declined to confirm the calls or comment on the threats.
PURL is a NATO-managed arrangement under which European allies purchase U.S.-made weapons for Ukraine; the United States does not contribute financially. Separate reporting from Ukrainian sources indicated additional calls to senior Ukrainian military leadership, including Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Mykhailo Drapatyi, conveying the same warnings.
On October 11, Trump announced on Truth Social an energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine that he said was effective immediately, stating both sides had agreed. Zelensky said the announcement was the first he had heard of any such agreement but later stated he had ordered Ukrainian forces not to strike Russian energy infrastructure and expected reciprocity. Axios, citing a White House source, reported that Russia had not yet agreed and was reviewing a proposal limited to mutual cessation of attacks on oil refineries, with possible later expansion to power plants and grids. A Ukrainian official described the refinery-only terms as unequal given Ukraine’s single partially operational refinery and its reliance on imported fuel, and said Kyiv required a halt to Russian strikes on its broader energy system.

Russian forces suffered more than 50,000 casualties in Ukraine in September, including up to 28,000 killed, a senior NATO military official told Bloomberg, compared with approximately 5,000 Ukrainian casualties over the same period. The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the disparity reflected Russian command continuing to send troops into “kill zones” under heavy drone, artillery, and mine attack during ongoing offensive operations. Ukrainian General Staff data put Russian personnel losses for the month at 46,230 — the highest monthly total recorded in 2026.
Earlier in the year, NATO officials had cited lower ranges. Secretary General Mark Rutte referred to 30–35,000 Russian killed and wounded in some months in April and June; Deputy Secretary General Radmila Shekerinska said in late August that Russia had begun losing more than 40,000 per month; Rutte later cited 43,000.
A July Center for Strategic and International Studies assessment estimated that Russian forces had suffered approximately 1.4 million total casualties from February 2022 through June 2026, of which at least 450,000 were killed. The study found that monthly losses in the first half of 2026 ran 30–34,000, exceeding new contract recruitment of roughly 27,000 per month, and that Russian deaths already exceeded all Soviet and Russian combat losses since 1945 by more than a factor of nine.
The Institute for the Study of War assessed that Russian forces suffered a net territorial loss of 80.81 square kilometers in September, capturing 175.54 square kilometers while Ukrainian forces liberated 256.35 square kilometers. This stood in contrast to a claim by President Vladimir Putin that Russian forces had seized 1,301 square kilometers during the month. Yandex has restricted folder and bulk downloads from its Disk cloud storage after Ukrainian drone strikes damaged three of its data centers, the company told RBC. “We deliberately limited some functions of Yandex 360, including Disk, in order to preserve the main thing — the operability of the services,” it said, adding that the measures would reduce load and support core operational scenarios. Individual files remain available for download. Other services, including the Alice AI assistant, search, Yandex Maps, taxi, and mail, are gradually recovering, though some functions may remain intermittent.
Drones struck the Sasovo facility in Ryazan Oblast overnight October 7–8, fully suspending operations; the Kaluga site on October 9, disabling several modules; and the Vladimir facility overnight October 10–11, also fully halting operations. No employees were injured. Service disruptions were reported by users in multiple Russian regions and in Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Serbia.

>"We have lost 40% of our staff": Kyivvodokanal explained why the city's water situation has worsened
>"There have never been such power outages before, that's the first thing. It's not so much that electricity disappears as that the voltage fluctuations are very strong. Our entire electrical part at the water utility dates from the 1970s. With such fluctuations it simply can't take it, it burns out. Our remaining electricians have to switch this electrical part," said Serhiy Horkutsenko, deputy general director of Kyivvodokanal.

Well, so you decommunized yourselves into this? For thirty years you screamed about the "cursed Soviet legacy" and occupation, and now that it comes down to it, it turns out that all of Kyiv's critical infrastructure still rests exclusively on the Soviet margin of safety from the 1970s! In all that time you yourselves built and renovated exactly nothing, you only froze tariffs and embezzled budgets. Now Soviet electrical equipment is to blame for not holding voltage. Well then, tear it all down completely, why do you need the legacy of totalitarianism? You'll walk to the Dnieper with buckets, but strictly according to European standards!

Yandex operates several data centers in Russia, including sites in Sasovo, Kaluga, Mytishchi, and Vladimir, plus one in Finland that was previously disconnected from electricity due to sanctions.
Sasovo housed the Lyapunov and Chervonenkis supercomputers used for AI model training; Galushkin is located in Vladimir. Independent reporting noted that the attacks could have affected all three systems, though Yandex has not confirmed their precise status. Market sources told Kommersant that replacing damaged equipment could take about six months and that Yandex may seek purchases through various channels, including foreign ones. The sources said this could contribute to short-term rises in hardware prices on an already elevated market, with additional costs ultimately expected to raise prices for cloud services. Sergey Kudryashov of Strategy Partners noted that the facilities were large and that equipping them would be expensive and time-consuming amid global shortages of computing capacity, particularly AI accelerators.

Russian forces continued strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities and cities after U.S. President Donald Trump announced an energy ceasefire on Sunday, Ukrainian officials said.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said a Shahed drone hit a power station in Kyiv, causing outages in multiple districts, followed by strikes on energy objects in the Kharkiv region. “And this was already after the statement by the President of the United States on an energy ceasefire,” he wrote on Telegram after speaking with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
Trump posted on Truth Social on 11 October that an energy ceasefire was “effective immediately” and that both sides had agreed. Zelensky said he first learned of the announcement from reports and later stated that he had ordered Ukraine’s armed forces not to strike Russian energy infrastructure, while calling for reciprocal restraint from Moscow.
Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said Russian forces attacked Kharkiv’s CHP-5 combined heat and power plant, calling the strike a violation of the announced ceasefire. A missile hit a shop in a Kharkiv suburb, killing three people including a child and injuring at least 22, including two children, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said. Morning drone strikes partially destroyed a multi-storey building in Kharkiv’s Kyiv district, injuring 15, regional administration head Oleh Syniehubov reported.

Separate overnight strikes hit railway infrastructure in Zhytomyr region, producing fires with no reported casualties, and logistics premises of a postal operator in southern Odesa region, damaging the building facade, glazing and equipment with no injuries. An attack in the Pavlohrad district of Dnipropetrovsk region caused a fire at an unnamed enterprise, the emergency service said.
Russia’s Defense Ministry said drones struck four locomotives near Odesa, Kryvyi Rih and Piatykhatky and that forces hit a dry-cargo vessel carrying military cargo toward Odesa. The ministry’s claims were not independently confirmed in detail by Ukrainian or Western reporting available at the time of this dispatch.

A bipartisan group of U.S. senators said President Donald Trump’s arrangement with Russian President Vladimir Putin to allow Russian diesel imports violates a 2022 law that bars such imports until Russia ends its aggression against Ukraine and ceases threats to NATO allies.
The senators, including Republicans Thom Tillis, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and John Curtis and Democrats Jeanne Shaheen and Richard Blumenthal, stated that Congress had made clear the United States should not import Russian oil under those conditions. “President Trump’s decision to allow the import of Russian diesel runs directly counter to that law,” they said, adding that the administration had neither consulted Congress nor provided the justification required by statute. They called on the administration to reverse course immediately and said the United States should not give Putin a financial lifeline while Russian forces continue to kill Ukrainian civilians.
Tillis, speaking on NBC, said there were strong grounds to argue the president was not complying with the law, which conditions any lifting of the embargo on steps including a full Russian troop withdrawal. He described the arrangement as tarnishing the legacy of the late Senator Lindsey Graham. Graham, who died in July, had championed related Russia sanctions legislation that Congress passed and Trump signed in September.
The White House, responding to Tillis, pointed to Trump’s Sunday post announcing an energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. That announcement does not satisfy the statutory conditions, and there has been no confirmation of Russian agreement. Ukrainian officials told the Financial Times they had no information that Moscow had joined any such pause; sources told Axios that Russia had not yet agreed and that Washington expected to learn soon whether it would.

Trump announced the diesel supply arrangement with Putin less than a month before midterm elections in which Republicans risk losing majorities in both houses of Congress. U.S. diesel prices reached record levels near $6.50 per gallon in early October amid the eighth month of the U.S.-Iran conflict.
House Democrat Donald Norcross said Trump had “literally made a deal with the devil” in pursuit of Republican electoral advantage. Analyst Janis Kluge of the German Institute for International and Security Affairs told The Wall Street Journal that Russia had already planned to resume diesel exports after the harvest season and the seasonal shift to winter-grade fuel, so Putin made no meaningful concession, and that the volumes were too small to alter global markets, where Middle East supply is more decisive.

meaning the russians promised a laughable amount and delivered a Microscopic amount (1/3rd of US daily consumption).

Russian authorities plan to open rehabilitation centers in each of the country’s eight federal districts for soldiers who lost limbs in the war in Ukraine, the state-run Defenders of the Fatherland foundation told the newspaper Vedomosti.
The foundation gave no timetable. The first center is already operating at a Russian State Social University site in the Moscow region. Deputy Defense Minister Anna Tsivileva said former servicemen there are taught everyday use of prostheses. About 650 veterans have passed through the program.
One participant told Vedomosti that training covers walking on prostheses and adaptive sports, but not all have functional devices. Mobilized in 2022 and having lost his right leg, he said he ties a broken prosthesis to his body with ropes to practice. He added that he does not tell outsiders he lost the limb in the war, remarking that “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.”
Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said earlier that the government intends to create 10 prosthetic and orthopedic rehabilitation centers under the Federal Medical and Biological Agency by 2028, with funds already budgeted. The Social Fund of Russia reported that the number of disabled people in the country exceeded 11.1 million by the start of 2025, reversing a pre-war decline.
In March 2025, Defense Ministry medical rehabilitation specialist Denis Kovlen said Russia needed 25 to 30 new centers for combat amputees and that the number of “SVO veterans” requiring prostheses had tripled since 2022, without giving absolute figures.
The New York Times previously cited a senior Russian official as saying that roughly half of wounded Russian soldiers had faced amputation. The International Institute for Strategic Studies estimated at the end of 2024 that about 376,000 Russian soldiers had been severely wounded. On that basis, the number of amputee disabled among those returned from the front could exceed 180,000, according to reporting that combined the figures.

European leaders reaffirmed support for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky after U.S. President Donald Trump eased restrictions on Russian diesel supplies and said Ukraine needed a new leader able to “make a deal” to end the war.
British Defence Secretary Wes Streeting told the BBC: “We support Ukraine. We support President Zelensky.” He called for strong Western unity on the issue. Prime Minister Andy Burnham expressed the United Kingdom’s “full solidarity” with Ukraine and said London would tighten sanctions on Moscow, a government statement said.
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said Berlin continued to “fully support” Zelensky. “Europe needs stability, and that means we most definitely continue to stand on the side of Ukraine and its government,” he said. French President Emmanuel Macron stated that France would continue to stand with Ukraine and President Zelensky. He said Paris favored a “real energy ceasefire,” but that Moscow still refused and had intensified strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote on X that he was “absolutely convinced” no one could break Ukraine and its president in their fight against Russian aggression, and that he had assured Zelensky of the full solidarity of Poland and Europe with the Ukrainian people.

Dutch Defence Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius told Bloomberg that Europe must keep sanctions in place. “It is very important to remain cool-headed and composed, because right now a large-scale war is going on on our continent, and we do not see the situation improving,” she said, adding that Putin must not receive the means to finance the war.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen backed Zelensky in his fight for the freedom of his people. EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas wrote that “Now is not the time to ease the pressure on Russia, and Europe will not do that.”
Zelensky, speaking to ABC News, said that with all respect to President Trump, the choice of leader was a matter for Ukrainian society and people. He added: “Tell Putin: give us two months, 60 days of a full ceasefire, 60 days, and we will organize elections.”

European Union foreign ministers on Monday approved the bloc’s largest package of sanctions against Russia since the start of the full-scale war, adding roughly 1,600 new listings, EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said.
“More than half of them are connected to the ballistic missile production chain,” Kallas wrote on X. “We are making it significantly harder, slower and more expensive for Russia to produce the weapons it uses to kill Ukrainians.”
The 22nd package contains 1,646 organizations and individuals. Targets include entities and persons involved in missile development, testing, fuel and engine production — particularly for Iskander-M systems — as well as manufacturers of specialized textiles, synthetic fibers and carbon fibers used in missile systems. It also covers drone producers, shipyards that service submarines, and 77 individuals who took part in State Duma elections in occupied Ukrainian territories.
Concerned by deepening Russia-North Korea ties, the EU added seven North Korean organizations and individuals assisting Moscow’s war effort. The new measures bring the total number of figures under EU sanctions over Russian aggression to nearly 4,650.
Kallas described the step as the largest expansion of the sanctions list since Russia launched its war.

Yandex services remained disrupted on Monday after Ukrainian drone strikes damaged three of the company’s data centers in Sasovo (Ryazan region), Kaluga, and Vladimir over the preceding days.
Users continued to report outages of Yandex Pay, Telemost, Direct, Mail, Messenger, Disk, and other services on DownDetector, with roughly 435,000 people noting problems in a 24-hour period. In Yandex Pay, transfers, subscription payments, and balance displays were unavailable. Fintech head Dmitry Pirogov said user funds were safe because they are not held at the affected data centers and account data is replicated across sites, but he gave no firm recovery timeline. Music, Eda, Lavka, Yandex Go, and Yandex Pro were also affected; some users and drivers reported problems withdrawing earnings or ordering taxis, including at St. Petersburg’s Pulkovo airport and in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
The company said engineers were prioritizing the most widely used services — Alice voice assistant, Search, Maps, Taxi, and Mail — and had arranged accelerated hosting with VK Cloud, Selectel, and K2Cloud. Market sources estimated that replacing damaged equipment could take about six months.
Digital Development Minister Maksut Shadayev called the attacks “unprecedented” and said the ministry was discussing data-center protection with the Defense Ministry. Separately, analysis of Botnadzor project data by Verstka indicated that roughly 2,000 pro-Kremlin comments over four days urged users not to panic, spend less time online, and praised air defenses while claiming services were functioning normally.
The first strike hit the Sasovo data center on 8 October, causing a fire and full shutdown. The Kaluga facility was struck the next day, disabling several modules. The Vladimir data center ceased operations after an attack on 11 October.

U.S. special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have postponed a planned visit to Moscow to meet Vladimir Putin, Axios reported, citing sources.
The trip was put on hold amid a crisis between Washington and Kyiv triggered by President Donald Trump’s announcement of a diesel supply arrangement with Russia and his subsequent remarks that Ukraine needs a new leader capable of making a deal with Putin. According to Axios, the visit is delayed at least until it is clear whether Ukraine and European countries will accept a new unified proposal for the Russian side. A U.S. official had earlier said the envoys intended to visit both Moscow and Kyiv this week to advance a settlement and develop a proposal “acceptable enough to force him [Putin] to stop.”
An unnamed TASS source said Kushner and Witkoff still plan to go to Moscow but that there are currently difficulties understanding Kyiv’s position. “They will come, but with a clear understanding of this position,” the source said, adding that a visit within the next two weeks was not ruled out.
The Miami talks involving U.S., Ukrainian, EU, and NATO representatives, originally scheduled for 9–10 October, ended after the first day. Axios and Financial Times sources said Witkoff and Kushner told the Ukrainian side that Washington might stop sharing intelligence if Kyiv did not halt strikes on Russian oil refineries. A White House representative told Axios that “Trump is very angry. He believes that Zelensky takes the U.S. for granted.” The discussions had also covered Western security guarantees for Ukraine and new territorial proposals, though details were not disclosed.

The moment the Rat King is disobedient, elections not only become possible, but also imminently necessary.

Drumf does the same thing as russoid do since 2014 (and probably did before I'm not informed about it)

>Declare gracious benevolent ceasefire unilatteraly in media
>Opponent never heard about it, so don't respect it
>Russia whine "Ah see, those evil nazis don't respect treaties !!!!"
>Do this multiple time and demonize the opponent.

Final goal is to frame Zelensky as a warmonger.

Project Ukraine is a total failure. The attempt in regime changing putin and giving nazi ukranians their dream of taking lands from their neighbors has failed. Its funny as fuck though there was so much preplanning 40+ years yet west failed. Dozens of fortress citys and trench network build years before putins "invasion". Million man army. Putin entered this war with a clown gesture good will 300k scouting peace envoy army to Kiev.

2026 now millions of ukranians dead Kiev water, electricity, most inhabitants left the city. The cost of maintaining the zombie corpse of project ukraine is astronomical. How did the jews fuck up so bad?

Trump really fucked up this time. Republicans - spineless as they are - can see that now he just does more harm than good. Tariffs, Energy Supply shock, no Iran War contingency plan and now cucking to Russia for less than peanuts - this is certainly gonna piss off any hawks that were in his corner... Unironically I wonder what the ladybug Grahams reaction to this would have been lmao.

1) there is a long history of the US eventually fighting the people we just finished arming.

2) the ukies will eventually wisen up to how they were used, and seek retribution.

when the war is over, ukraine will be filled with men who learned how to die. They will only know war, but the war will be over.

They will be quite angry and ukraine will be still be filled with the military stockpiles of Europe.

I dont think the terrorist actions of various bands of ukies will be considered as "ukraine" attacking Europe and the US.

You're acting as if groups like azov arent stockpiling weapons for use in a "post war" ukraine.

Each oblast likely has its own local warlord doing the same.

Unfortunately many Ukrainian diaspora voted for Trump even though he has consistently trashed Ukraine and refused to help. Maybe getting the message out that voting blue will help those at home as well as those abroad. Trump also has decided not to renew TPS protections for over 100 thousand Ukrainians leaving them in the lurch.
