>>
>>545356534
Ukraine continuously reclaims the territory; the russians keep assuming they still control lost areas, deny the reality, keep drawing offensive plans based on copes and dreams. Then ground level pidors are left with very bizarre missions to accomplish. Also, because reporting losses to command is inconvenient, it's preferable to send in meat in panic, hoping it will stabilise the situation somehow. Poured in without any deeper thought; while retreat and hunkering down would make more sense.
>>
>>545356872
I'm honestly holding out hope that pypa will not be around for those negotiations, he doesn't give a shit about losses
>>
>>545356534
At the moment, it is clear that the tactics previously used to advance are no longer working, so these fuckers are trying to compensate by ramping up the pressure using more cannon fodder.
>>
>>545356872
>You think pynya will be forced to the negotiation table on Z's terms if this goes on?
Of course not, he’ll do any other kind of bullshit, but he won’t stop, for him personally, stopping like that is just too risky.

It's hard to guess. More like, what is going to give out first, which element will cause the collapse? Everyone from pypa through elites don't mind dead pidors economy, they can just import more jeets. It's quite stable arrangement. monke will never stop the war, neither compromise, unless he's forced. It's the common pidor which is the weakest link here. He will keep being broomed, until he doesn't and causes another revolution. Given their prolapsed anuses, they can still endure. But the collapse fireworks will be visible from another galaxy.
>>
>>545357299
The issue is they'll run out of meat sooner or later, and "Flash" (the advisor) said even mobilizing 300k pidors now will not make a difference.
>>
>>545356966
>Ukraine is constantly reclaiming territory.
This is true for a number of sectors (Kupyansk, the south), but it is not an all-encompassing trend. Russian troops continue to attack in other directions, and the front line remains fluid.
>The Russians deny reality and develop illusory plans.
False reports are often the result of pressure from above ("fulfill the order at any cost"), and not just incompetence from below. In addition, the thesis fails to take into account that the Russian army has demonstrated an ability to adapt—for example, by abandoning massive attacks using heavy equipment in favor of smaller infantry groups, which reduces losses from certain types of weapons.
>>
As for Pypa, I am absolutely certain that he would even resort to using nukes rather than accept failure. In this regard, the hope lies more with the elites, who might somehow remove him in such a critical situation.
>>
>>545357299
monke and his crew fail to realise that jeets will not go to a war. they're not such cattle and they have their religious beliefs too. once the pidor well runs dry, it's ogre
>>
>>545357299
Elites are not a single actor. They lack agency and are forced to comply, bearing the growing costs of the war.

In spite of what some Russian shills will tell you, Russian PPP is a largely meaningless statistic and is heavily manipulated by Russia so that faggot ziggers can gloat about how great and Zigeria is.

PPP is calculated from price surveys of "baskets of goods and services." These prices are then aggregated to produce the PPP conversion rates published by the World Bank and used as propaganda by zigger shills.

However, PPP can be distorted in multiple ways, and Russia has two main levers. The first is through fixed pricing schemes. When the state forces producers to sell certain materials at artificially low prices through fixed contracts it lowers skews the PPP metrics.

That makes the dogshit ruble look stronger in PPP terms. For example, if the state decrees that a slab of steel costs the equivalent of $1 for the war-machine while the same slab costs $10 in the United States, the price survey records a much lower cost of living/production in Russia. The result is that even if average Russians have far lower nominal incomes and struggle to afford basic consumer goods such as a loaf of bread, Russia’s PPP-adjusted GDP is inflated toward parity with higher-income countries.

The second and more important lever is large-scale state subsidies, especially on energy. Russians face very low household energy prices because of heavy subsidies (commonly cited figures put the effective discount at a whopping of 50-80%). Cheap energy, housing, and certain other controlled goods lower the overall price level used in the PPP calculation and therefore push Russia’s PPP-adjusted GDP figures higher. In turn however, these subsidies mean that this is tax revenue that could have been used on other services like functioning roads and sewer systems. But since those don't get accounted for in PPP, the Russian shills don't care.

In essence Russian shill faggots are gloating that they're a glorified gas-station.

>>
>>545357630
You are naive thinking he cares about that more, than he cares about himself.
In the event of a failure at the front, Pypa faces two options: either back down - thereby running a serious risk of losing power and falling into the hands of his adversaries, or escalate and expand the conflict as much as necessary to remain in power, dragging things out until he eventually dies of old age. This rat will keep snapping back until the very end, there is no reason to count on his own good sense, any such hope must instead rest on his inner circle. And there are, in fact, grounds for such a hope.
>>
>>545357728
The text makes a logical leap: if PPP can be distorted, then it is meaningless. This is incorrect. Distortion means that the indicator is skewed in a particular direction, not that it contains no information at all. The question is how much it is skewed and whether this skew can be corrected. Even with an adjustment for subsidies, Russia's advantage in physical volume over a number of countries remains. Subsidies (about 1.4% of GDP) affect prices, but they do not encompass the entire Russian economy.

Another Su-57 Felon Burns Down At Akhtubinsk — The Fourth Lost Or Damaged This Year, Ukrainian OSINT Says

1/?

A Russian Su-57 Felon burned down at the Akhtubinsk airfield in the Astrakhan region on Oct. 29, satellite imagery published by the Ukrainian OSINT project Absolutely Reliable Source indicates — making it, by the project's count, the fourth Felon lost or damaged since the start of 2026. "On October 29, 2026, at the Akhtubinsk airfield, a Russian fifth-generation multirole Su-57 fighter caught fire (and burned down completely) as a result of an abnormal situation during engine startup," the project wrote. "Given a maximum production rate of four aircraft per year, the quota has already been met."
Russian officials have not commented on the fire, and the imagery could not be independently verified. The location, at least, fits: Akhtubinsk is home to the 929th State Flight Test Center, Russia's main flight-test facility, where Felons have been tested and delivered — and where a Ukrainian drone strike already damaged at least one Su-57 in June 2024.
This year has been unusually hard on Russia's small Felon fleet. On April 25, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces struck two Su-57s — along with a Su-34 bomber — at the Shagol airfield near Chelyabinsk, some 1,700 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which announced the strike on May 1. Another Felon crashed on July 23 near Zvenigorod outside Moscow during a training flight; the pilot ejected safely. Russia's Defense Ministry described the aircraft as a combat trainer flying without munitions, blamed a "technical malfunction," and saw the Investigative Committee open a criminal case into a violation of flight rules.
>>
>>545358282
2/3

Russian pro-war Telegram accounts told a different story. The Z-channel "Voyevoda Veshchayet" claimed the fighter's left engine failed after takeoff, followed by the right one. Z-blogger Vladimir Romanov suggested the jet was shot down by "friendly" fire from a BARS-Moscow air defense crew. The InformNapalm intelligence community went further, claiming a Ukrainian cyber operation was behind it: "approaches were found that made it possible to influence the operation of one of the formation's crews and to use the system created by the Russians against a Russian target itself."
The Felon is Russia's newest multirole fighter, which entered service with the Russian Aerospace Forces at the end of 2020, and by official Russian standards a flagship. Vadim Badekha, head of the Rostec-controlled United Aircraft Corporation, has called it "the only fifth-generation aircraft taking part in real combat operations" — a reference to the war in Ukraine — and President Vladimir Putin has called it "the best fighter in the world."
The Su-57 can reach 2,600 km/h (around 1,615 mph) and carry up to 7.4 tons (roughly 16,300 pounds) of ordnance, including air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles and anti-ship weapons. The National Interest has pointed to drone teaming and hypersonic weapons integration as the type's key features. Open-source estimates put a single Felon at $35–40 million, with each flight hour costing around $25,000.
>>
>>545358301
3/3

How badly four lost or damaged airframes in ten months hurts depends on whose production numbers you believe. Absolutely Reliable Source puts annual output at no more than four jets, and Ukrainian military intelligence has estimated the operational fleet at around 20. Russia's CAST think tank, by contrast, claims deliveries climbed from 11 Felons in 2023 to 13 in 2024, with about 14 planned for 2025 — which would still leave the fleet at only a few dozen aircraft. On any of those counts, 2026 has been an expensive year for Russia's flagship fighter.

I don't think monke & co. take human cost into the calculation. They just assume it's infinite, because - the russia. I do agree, it's either 1. them running out of pidors to throw at crumbling lines, or 2. surviving pidors waking up to their survival instinct and going against the orders. It will be explained as pypa's betrayal of the russia, monke being gunned down in some forgotten bunker in Urals. Then the fireworks.

1. Would mean Ukraine ramps up the drone production so much, they manage to reclaim whole territory. I think 2. is unironically more probable. Yes, we can all agree broomed pidor will suffer a lot. My theory is, when broomerers will get broomed themselves + sent in a meat assault - that will be the very moment this monke circus collapses.

Rosatom In Talks On Large Nuclear Plants With Four African States, Its Chief Says

1/?

Russia is ready to supply African countries with nuclear power plants of various sizes and configurations and is in talks with four of them on large nuclear projects, the head of the state nuclear corporation Rosatom said on Friday, Oct. 30.
Rosatom Chief Executive Alexei Likhachev said the company was discussing building large nuclear power plants with Uganda, Ghana, Ethiopia and Egypt. "Another four countries are discussing with us the construction of large-capacity plants. We are working through the matter in detail with Uganda and Ghana, we plan to begin site survey work in Ethiopia shortly, and in Egypt we plan to expand the largest construction project on the planet, the El Dabaa nuclear power plant, from four to six large-capacity units," he told Reuters. "Our partnership is based on the principle that Africa is diverse, and we have a tailored approach for each country that goes beyond a single project."
Nine African states, he said, have shown "significant interest" in Rosatom's floating nuclear power plant technology, which the company promotes as an entry point into the nuclear sector for coastal countries — 38 of Africa's 54 nations have suitable coastlines, according to Rosatom — with detailed negotiations under way with Egypt, Tanzania, Togo and Namibia. Togo signed an exploratory protocol with Rosatom on Oct. 28, and Rwanda is in line to become the corporation's first partner for a small land-based nuclear plant on the continent.
None of the prospective projects beyond El Dabaa has yet reached a final investment decision. Ethiopia, which signed a nuclear cooperation roadmap with Rosatom in March, is still selecting a site — and analysts note that a signed agreement with Rosatom does not in itself mean a plant will be built, given the vast investment, adapted power grids and years of training that nuclear power requires.
>>
>>545358489
2/2

Africa has only one operating nuclear power plant — South Africa's Koeberg station, built with French technology and commissioned in the mid-1980s. In Egypt, Rosatom is building the continent's second: the El Dabaa plant on the Mediterranean coast, with four Russian-designed VVER-1200 reactors of 1,200 megawatts each. Nuclear fuel is due to be delivered to the first unit in 2027, with grid connection targeted for 2028.
The talks followed the third Russia-Africa Summit, held in Moscow on Oct. 28–29 and attended by representatives of about 50 African countries, including heads of state and government — 22 of them at leader level, up from 17 at the previous summit in 2023. Russian President Vladimir Putin, who told the African leaders that Russia was their best partner, held a series of one-on-one meetings covering trade, security, energy, grain and fertilizer supplies, and Russian participation in infrastructure and mining projects across the continent.
Following the summit, Putin said African countries had shown "considerable interest both in large power plants and small-capacity nuclear reactors, as well as in the use of nuclear technologies in medicine and agriculture."

Russian bill would make online calls for unrest a grave crime punishable by six years in jail

1/2

A bill before the Russian State Duma would classify calls for mass unrest posted online — including comments under other people's posts — as grave crimes punishable by up to six years in prison, the latest in a series of laws criminalising speech.
Seven deputies led by Vasily Piskarev, head of the Duma's security and anti-corruption committee, introduced the bill on Oct. 20. It has received positive reviews from the government and the Supreme Court, and its first reading is scheduled for November.
The bill would raise the maximum penalty for public calls to mass riots, participation in them or violence against citizens — Part 3 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code, currently punishable by up to two years — to four years in prison. A new Part 3.1 sets harsher terms for the same calls made "using the internet or mass media": up to five years of forced labour or six years in prison. A separate set of amendments would extend, for online justification of terrorism, the supplementary ban on holding certain offices or working in certain professions to two to six years, and raise fines for violence against officials that is not life-threatening to up to 500,000 roubles ($7,300).
The reclassification matters procedurally. Acts under Part 3 of Article 212 are currently crimes of minor gravity; at four years, the basic corpus would become a medium-gravity crime, and online calls, at six years, a grave one, lawyers surveyed by Deutsche Welle said. The statute of limitations would rise from two years to six for the basic corpus and to ten for online calls. And because pretrial detention is permitted in grave crimes — and in medium-gravity crimes involving violence or its threat — investigators would be able to seek remand for people charged over online comments, said lawyer Valeria Vitosshkina.
>>
>>545358614
2/2

Yevgeny Smirnov, a lawyer with the First Department human rights project, called the bill a continuation of a 15-year trend of punishing "words." Legislative changes keep making more topics dangerous to discuss, he said — from events classified as terrorism to the actions of the authorities and the military. Such cases are simple to build, he added: establish that a publication was made, link the account to a specific person and obtain an expert assessment of the text, with in-house experts at the Investigative Committee, the FSB and the Interior Ministry deciding whether a statement was ironic and whether it was peaceful.
Very few cases have been brought under the existing article, Smirnov said, and the scale of future prosecutions will depend on enforcement — which he expects to grow by analogy with cases over "justification of terrorism," "fakes" about the army and "extremism."
Retroactive application is formally barred — criminal laws that toughen liability do not apply retroactively — but Smirnov said law enforcement may treat old posts as "ongoing crimes," in which case what matters is not when a text was published but whether it remained accessible after the law takes effect. Vitosshkina said investigators already count the statute of limitations from the moment a post is discovered, not from when it was posted.
"I'm afraid the security services' madness could go as far as opening cases over calls to come out to a rally that was held some 10 years ago," Smirnov said.
The bill's authors, who cite the October 2023 riot at Makhachkala airport and the March 2024 attack on the Crocus City Hall concert venue among their justifications, say protest actions are often "instigated by unfriendly states." Piskarev has blamed the "collective West," along with emigres and "foreign agents," for trying to provoke Russians into unlawful acts.

But you must realize that frozen battle lines where the defenders push to capture their lands back would give a very uneven distribution of corpses held by either side?

If Russia rolls over a city, they possess more Ukrainian bodies than Ukrainians do Russian bodies, by the nature that nobody in their right mind would carry a corpse of the enemy while they're retreating from a conflict zone, these exchanges can also be extremely delayed.

I doubt they happen every week so many of the traded corpses are probably from far earlier conflicts where Russia has created enough of a buffer zone to collect bodies from cities taken months ago. I get croats are generally very low IQ but that should be a conclusion most come to through common sense.

It doesn't matter whether or not they care about the loss of life directly. Huge manpower losses still add up to a cost they incur which has to be factored into their strategy(s). Manpower doesn't come from nowhere and has to be drawn somehow. They tried outsourcing the draft to the regions which was quite successful in the past two years. But now they're all quite broke in 2026, incentivising voluntary sign ups is too expensive and many oblasts are cutting back payments incl. death payments to families.

>The United States is backing a rapid resumption of Russian natural gas exports to Europe via pipelines crossing Ukraine as part of talks aimed at securing an energy ceasefire before winter, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday, citing US, European and Ukrainian officials.
So now Trump is going to fuck over the local US natural gas industry in favour of Russia, keep in mind that natural gas is cheap in the US and hasn't stayed high due to the US-Israel War on Iran like oil and distillates, the only effect this would have is to overturn the US dominance over natural gas exports that it gained due to the Russian invasion in 2022

>One of the possible reasons for the explosion of the latest Russian multirole fighter, the Su-57, last week during engine startup could have been substandard fuel.

>Due to Ukrainian strikes on oil refineries, Russia is reducing its own production of aviation fuel and is being forced to increase its imports.

>In particular, fuel is being supplied from India via maritime transshipment near Malaysia. In September alone, over 37,000 tons of aviation fuel were delivered to Russia via this route.

>During transportation, transshipment, or storage, the fuel can become contaminated with impurities that can cause critical damage to the engine.

>This scenario could have led to the explosion of the Su-57.

>And other Russian fighters that use the same fuel, including the Su-34, Su-35, and others, risk suffering the same fate.

Interesting to consider.
The drone aspect of this war is a worlds first and you have a "no-mans-land" that stretches for kilometers while remaining fairly stagnant.

Where does death even occur in this war?
Historically, it's probably be concentrated on front-line assaults. But in this case it could be the result of constant drone strikes into enemy backlines.

Russia drafts first January payout of December military pay since 2008

1/2

Russia's defence ministry has drafted an order that would postpone servicemembers' December pay to January for the first time in at least 18 years, the news outlet Verstka reported on Oct. 30, as war spending tears a widening hole in the federal budget.
Under current rules, fixed by a 2019 ministry order, soldiers are paid from the 10th to the 20th of each month for the previous month — but December pay is always made before the year ends, by Dec. 25. The practice predates the order: its predecessors from 2011 and 2008 also required December pay before the New Year, and a Soviet-era central bank instruction from 1986 did the same.
The draft would end the tradition. "Monetary allowances are paid from the 10th to the 20th of each month for the previous month, and for December of a calendar year — from Jan. 11 to 21 of the following calendar year," the new wording reads.
If adopted in its current form, the rule would take effect before the end of 2026. It would not apply to the joint group of forces fighting in Ukraine, whose units would keep the existing schedule, Verstka reported. The ministry has not commented publicly, and no order had been published as of Nov. 2.
>>
>>545362132
2/2

The proposal comes as the budget buckles under the cost of the war. The Finance Ministry's preliminary data published on Oct. 9 showed a deficit of 5.19 trillion roubles, or 2.2% of GDP, for January–September — 50% higher than a year earlier, though 30% below the ministry's revised full-year forecast of 7.35 trillion roubles, nearly double the originally planned 3.79 trillion.
Revenues rose 10% year on year to 29.64 trillion roubles. Non-oil-and-gas receipts grew 18.8% to 24.17 trillion, helped by a VAT increase to 22% that took effect in January, while oil and gas revenues fell 17.2% to 5.47 trillion. Spending climbed 14.5% to 34.83 trillion roubles, driven by war costs that Bloomberg, citing people close to the government, estimated on Oct. 7 would approach 17 trillion roubles this year — about $200 billion, or 40% more than officially budgeted.

Indeed. It is estimated that drones cause 70 to 90% of deaths. It might still be concentrated around the contact points though.
If so, there will be a surge in exchanged russian bodies, following important territorial gains of ukies around Lyman. All the dead russians still there, and they obviously have a strong anti-drone capacity in this sector, wich may allow retrieval teams to proceed further.

Kremlin-linked boxing chief who funded Trump Jr. wedding takes stake in distressed Russian builder, sources say

1/?

Umar Kremlev, an influential Russian businessman with close Kremlin ties and head of the International Boxing Association (IBA), has acquired a stake in Samolet Group, Russia’s largest residential builder by active volume, two real estate industry sources told Forbes.

The move comes as Samolet struggles under a crushing debt load, regulatory headwinds, and European Union sanctions.

According to regulatory filings, an offshore vehicle, Fonte Inceptia Alpha Fund OEIC Limited, emerged in July as Samolet's largest shareholder after buying an 18% interest valued at 4.2 billion rubles ($43.5 million) from Horizont, a fund set up by the heirs of late founder Mikhail Kenin. Fonte Inceptia is managed by Kazakhstan-registered Fonte Capital Ltd, owned by former Harper’s Bazaar editor and pageant finalist Ksenia Kibitkina.

Filings show Fonte Inceptia slashed its stake below 5% in September before liquidating its position entirely by early October. While the end buyer remains undisclosed, market sources told Forbes that both the acquisition and subsequent reshuffle were executed on behalf of entities affiliated with Kremlev. Representatives for Kremlev denied that he has any interest in Samolet. Kremlev already co-owns southern Russian homebuilder AVA Group alongside partner Vagan Arutyunyan.

Kremlev, who holds past criminal convictions for extortion and assault, has seen his domestic commercial influence surge through his close relationship with Alexey Rubezhnoi, head of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Presidential Security Service (SBP), according to an investigation by independent media outlet Proekt. Kremlev currently oversees Rolf, Russia’s major nationalized auto dealership chain, alongside key fuel distribution assets and state-backed betting monopolies. In April, Putin awarded him the state Order of Friendship.

Internationally, Kremlev drew scrutiny after attending the Bahamas wedding of Donald Trump Jr. in May. An investigation by ProPublica revealed that Kremlev bankrolled hundreds of thousands of dollars in expenses for the event, including private island rental fees and celebratory fireworks displays.

The reported consolidation around Samolet coincides with deep distress for the developer. In the first half of 2026, Samolet’s revenue dropped 32% year-on-year to 117 billion rubles, posting a net loss of 22 billion rubles. Adjusted net debt—excluding buyer funds locked in statutory escrow accounts—stood at 425 billion rubles.

The homebuilder's crisis accelerated following Kenin’s death in 2025, the state nationalization of its flagship "Kvartal Maryino" development, escalating debt-servicing costs, and nearly 8 billion rubles in penalty charges. By October 1, 2026, Samolet was developing roughly 4.5 million square meters of housing, but handover delays had spread to 43% of its construction pipeline, more than doubling from 21% the year prior.

Earlier in 2026, the Russian government rejected an appeal by Samolet for a 50 billion ruble subsidized rescue loan backed by a blocking equity stake. On September 17, business daily Kommersant reported the company stood near insolvency, warning that operational control could be transferred to Sberbank, its premier creditor, which holds 294 billion rubles in loan exposure.

Russian government bodies are actively monitoring the fallout. According to Forbes sources, crisis sessions are taking place regularly at Russia’s Ministry of Construction involving company executives, regional officials, state lenders, and security apparatus representatives.

Adding to its challenges, the European Union imposed sanctions on Samolet on October 12 over allegations that the developer utilized North Korean state laborers across its work sites.

Exclusive: Fired general admitted to leaking classified Iran and Ukraine info, report says

1/?

The Pentagon's top military planner admitted to leaking classified information about Ukraine and Iran to two reporters from separate outlets over a one-year period, according to an internal report of the investigation shared with Axios.

Why it matters: Army Lt. Gen. Brett Sylvia was fired this week by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for the alleged misconduct, which the career soldier acknowledged on video after he failed four polygraph tests, a U.S. official said.

"He had trouble passing multiple polygraph interviews," the internal Pentagon report said.
The report accused the general of making "unauthorized disclosures to the media," and said he "was cooperative with answering questions about interactions with the media to resolve this, and provided his personal phone for a forensics examination."
The investigation was conducted by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations.

Zoom in: The report and U.S. officials said that Sylvia's leaking began as early as June 2025 — before mainstream media outlets were removed from the Pentagon — and continued afterward via secure Signal app and once at a Silver Diner in Arlington, Va.

"The meeting at the diner occurred because [redacted's] access to the Pentagon was revoked between meetings," the report says.
"During the meeting at the diner, [Sylvia] relied on notes he took while reviewing a classified secret report to orally give redacted on U.S. assistance to Ukraine, the report says.
The report says the reporter in question was writing a book and met twice with Sylvia. It also emphasized that the general "did not coordinate these meetings with [the Pentagon's Public Affairs Office], or seek to have the information reviewed before providing it to the reporter."
>>
>>545362236
Lol
>>
>>545362753
2/3

The intrigue: U.S. officials suspect that Sylvia intentionally deleted any trace of contact on Signal between him and one of the reporters, but pretended it was an accident.

"Sometime between June or July, Sylvia received Signal messages from [redacted]. Sylvia is unable to recall exactly what was in that message," the report said. "But he believes it had something to do with Iran."
"He stated that he did not respond to the message and instead deleted it. While deleting it, he believes he deleted the entire message thread with [redacted]," the report said. "This erased Signal messages and Signal phone calls that would have been recorded in Signal on his personal phone."
For another story, the report said, Sylvia "admitted to being one of the 20 officials" cited in a story criticizing Pentagon leadership.

Another U.S. official told Axios that Acting Army Secretary Adam Telle and his office lobbied the Joint Staff to put out a statement supporting Sylvia "to minimize the damage about any future claims of him leaking classified information."

After someone within the Defense Department revealed to the Joint Staff why Sylvia was fired, the Joint Staff retracted its statement.
An Army official disputed the notion that Telle's office pushed for a statement supporting Sylvia:
"This is the latest in a coordinated campaign of lies designed to sow chaos," the Army official said. "Acting Secretary Telle and his office did not advocate for any statement regarding LTG Sylvia. This entire narrative is false."

Sylvia's dismissal marks the latest crackdown on leakers and the press from Hegseth's Pentagon.

In July, the Defense Department announced a joint task force with the Justice Department that aimed to identify Pentagon leakers. It also called on the Pentagon's Office of General Counsel to prioritize prosecutions of those who make unauthorized disclosures to the media.
Last year, in response to restrictive rules imposed by the Pentagon, several defense reporters and media outlets turned in their media passes.

What they're saying: Sylvia did not immediately respond to a phone call, voicemail and text message left at the phone number listed for him in public records.

Blast at Spanish arms plant supplying Ukraine injures three, adds to string of European defense mishaps

1/?

An explosion ripped through the disposal grounds of an ammunition factory on the outskirts of Granada on the morning of Oct. 30, injuring three workers and prompting a deployment of bomb-disposal specialists, Spanish police and emergency services reported[1][6].

The site—the historic Fábrica de Municiones de Granada (FMG) located in the El Fargue district—is operated by Slovak defense contractor MSM Group, an arm of Prague-based Czechoslovak Group (CSG). Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the plant has ramped up production to supply artillery rounds, propellants, and missile components to Kyiv.

Emergency services said the blast occurred shortly before 9:00 a.m. local time inside the facility’s demilitarization and controlled waste-burning zone, sending up a mushroom-shaped smoke column that shook windows across the Granada metropolitan area and triggered over 30 emergency calls. National Police confirmed that the detonation took place in a highly restricted area normally cleared of personnel.

Three employees sustained minor auditory trauma from the shockwave and were taken to Granada’s Virgen de las Nieves University Hospital for evaluation.

Operations at the site were halted as specialist TEDAX bomb disposal squads, judicial police, and forensic teams cordoned off the perimeter with two security rings and erected an on-site medical post. Minor damage was reported on neighboring structures, though authorities detected no structural collapses.

Juan Bayo, an official with Spain's UGT labor union, said the detonation appeared to have been triggered during a quality test on an explosive projectile, noting that safety protocols require staff to work behind reinforced barriers at a safe distance. The factory employs nearly 300 staff operating under rigorous security standards, including mandatory daily metal detector screening and a prohibition on mobile devices inside the facility.

The Granada incident is the latest in a wave of disruptions at Western defense manufacturers assisting Ukraine's war effort. Across August and September alone, at least seven incidents were logged across Europe:

Bulgaria: Fires struck facilities of arms manufacturer EMCO on Aug. 10 and Sept. 11.

Italy: A blast struck the KNDS Ammo Italy manufacturing complex in Colleferro, outside Rome, on Aug. 13.

Slovakia: Authorities foiled an attempted arson on Aug. 28 targeting Ukrainian drone manufacturer Skyeton, producer of Raybird reconnaissance aircraft. On Sept. 16, a blaze hit ZVS Holding's artillery casing plant in Snina.

Poland: A fire broke out on Aug. 31 at WB Electronics in Skarżysko-Kamienna, a producer of reconnaissance and strike drones.

Estonia: An Aug. 15 fire damaged the Tallinn facilities of unmanned systems developer Milrem Robotics, which Estonian authorities formally attributed to Russian state-sponsored arson.

Investigators in Spain have yet to release formal findings on the cause of the Granada explosion, and CSG said it does not anticipate a long-term shutdown of output.

Will Trump suddenly get more things done with his diminished "authority"?

Until now Trump could act like a total buffoon because Congress wouldn't permanently intervene, investigate and cut his funding. Now he's getting checked and can't even count on Republicans turning on him if he really loses the Senate by 55+ seats.
>Will Trump suddenly get more things done with his diminished "authority"?
No, he'll be constantly fighting investigations.
>Do you really care at all, or would you rather be left alone to celebrate "victories" you just made up in your head?

Hegseth faces impeachment threat from both parties after U.S. midterms

1/2

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth could face impeachment proceedings after the Nov. 3 congressional midterm elections, Bloomberg reported on Oct. 30, as the deadlocked war against Iran, a string of Pentagon scandals and the declining popularity of President Donald Trump's administration turn the Pentagon chief into a target for both parties.
Lawmakers from both of the country's main parties have backed plans to put Hegseth through a congressional reckoning. His opponents make no secret that the campaign against the secretary is a first step toward holding the entire Trump administration accountable for the unpopular war in Iran.
"As a result of this war, 21 American service members have been killed and more than 850 wounded," said Democratic Senator Jack Reed of Rhode Island, the ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, voicing his party's central complaint. "Trump and Hegseth have cost the American people nearly $50 billion in military spending and inflicted billions of dollars in damage to Americans' financial well-being."
In the corridors of the U.S. Capitol, Hegseth is widely seen as the most convenient target for Democrats and for Trump's opponents within the Republican Party. He took office with no political experience, after earlier careers in lobbying and journalism, and began his tenure with a wave of firings, scandalous statements and open feuds with Congress — making enemies in both parties along the way. Members of Congress have introduced three impeachment resolutions against him in 2025-2026: Democrat Shri Thanedar of Michigan in December 2025 over lethal strikes on alleged drug-trafficking boats and the "Signalgate" chat leak, Democrat Yassamin Ansari of Arizona in April 2026 over the Iran war, and Republican Thomas Massie of Kentucky, who read eight articles of impeachment against Hegseth into the House record on Sept. 15.
>>
>>545365286
2/2

With Trump-loyal Republicans controlling both chambers, none of the measures reached a House vote; Speaker Mike Johnson sent lawmakers home early in September rather than allow a vote on Massie's resolution. But a convincing Democratic victory in the November elections could change the arithmetic. Removal requires a simple majority in the House of Representatives and a two-thirds vote in the Senate. Massie has said he will move against Hegseth a fourth time. "The House recessed early to avoid the vote, so I will reintroduce Hegseth articles of impeachment when we return for the lame duck session, regardless of the outcome of the midterm election," he wrote on social media.
U.S. history, however, offers no precedent for a cabinet secretary being impeached and removed: only two have ever been impeached — Secretary of War William Belknap in 1876 and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas in 2024 — and the Senate acquitted both. Hegseth also retains Trump's personal backing. On Oct. 29, the president defended him as doing "a great job," called him "a great warrior" and said he was "the best at his job in many, many years," dismissing the impeachment talk as "terrible." "All they do is they talk about impeaching everybody," Trump said of Democrats. "Honestly, if we wanted to play that game, we could play it just as well." He has said attempts to remove his defense secretary are doomed to fail.

No takers for Putin's diesel as Trump's fuel deal flounders before U.S. midterms

1/?

American companies are refusing to buy cargoes of Russian diesel heading to the United States under President Donald Trump's deal with Vladimir Putin, industry officials and analysts told The Washington Sun in an Oct. 29 report, leaving tankers carrying 140,000 tons of fuel sailing across the Atlantic without confirmed buyers.
Trump announced the deal on Oct. 9 after a call with Putin, lifting U.S. sanctions in exchange for Moscow releasing diesel onto world markets — more than 300,000 tons immediately, another 500,000 tons in November and 1 million tons after that — in a bid to lower pump prices ahead of the Nov. 3 midterm elections. His administration is now privately leaning on U.S. firms to accept the fuel, offered at steep discounts.
"Everyone is trying to run as far away from this as fast as they can. Nobody wants to touch it because they're afraid of what's going to happen in the next Congressional session," one Wall Street trader told the paper, citing conversations with top energy companies. "Nobody wants to get ensnared in a lengthy legal battle or what will be a series of investigations, and this looks like a classic case of that."
>>
>>545365621
2/?

Democrats are expected to take the House of Representatives in Tuesday's elections and could flip the Senate. They have promised investigations and demanded that banks and ports preserve all records of Russian diesel transactions; on Oct. 26, seven Democratic and Republican lawmakers, including Senator Richard Blumenthal and Senator Thom Tillis, wrote to major banks, fuel distributors and port authorities warning that anyone facilitating the imports could violate the 2022 law banning Russian energy imports. "Any company or individual thinking about purchasing Russian diesel should be aware that they're committing a crime and that Congress is watching," Blumenthal said in a statement. New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill, a Democrat, says she is exploring options to keep the fuel out of the Port of New York and New Jersey, the country's largest fuel-import terminal, calling the deal "corrupt and illegal."
"They're being very strongly encouraged by both Moscow and Washington to take these cargoes, including with steep discounts, but they're encountering a wall of resistance based on reputation and legal risks," one analyst said.
Three tankers — the Malta-flagged Agioi Fanendes, the Talisman, which is under EU and U.S. sanctions, and the Leruo, sanctioned by the EU, Britain and Canada — left the Baltic port of Primorsk between Oct. 16 and 22 and are due on the U.S. East Coast between Nov. 7 and 11. The Agioi Fanendes initially signaled New York, but its manager, Eastern Mediterranean Maritime, told the Financial Times it was "awaiting instructions, as the unloading port has not yet been confirmed." The other two show "Atlantic Coast, awaiting orders"; the Leruo had initially listed Manaus, Brazil, before switching mid-voyage. A fourth tanker left Russia on Oct. 29.

>>545365645
3/3

Russian refineries, meanwhile, raised runs by 25% in late October from the start of the month — to about 5 million barrels a day — after the deal and a halt in Ukrainian drone attacks, Reuters reported, citing three industry sources, allowing exporters to ship out around 80,000 tons of diesel a day. But the pause lasted only about two weeks: overnight on Oct. 30, Ukrainian drones struck the Novokuybyshevsk refinery, part of Rosneft's Samara complex, and overnight on Nov. 1 they hit the Kstovo refinery in the Nizhny Novgorod region, where the resulting blaze prompted limits on gasoline sales. Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said the resumed strikes "could certainly lead to a reduction in supply volumes" that would "undoubtedly impact global markets."
Novak said on Oct. 30 that Russia was shipping 510,000 tons of diesel to world markets in October and planned about 2.15 million tons in November.
Still, interest from U.S. buyers remains low even among gray-market traders, the Rapidan Energy Group consultancy said in a note to clients: no one has shown interest despite the discounts on offer, and "Moscow and Washington are still scrambling to find takers, but we wouldn't be surprised if the cargoes ultimately head to Brazil." The Wall Street Journal, for its part, has reported that U.S. diesel prices have risen since the deal was announced — undercutting its stated purpose of easing prices at the pump.

My message to the Ukrainian people:

This war has gone on long enough. It's been almost 5 years now. 5 years if bloodshed, 5 years if gruesome death, 5 years of mothers bawling their eyes out at their own sons' funerals.

When does it end? You know that there's no realistic way for Ukraine to beat Russia. So why do you keep fighting? Why do you extend the suffering?

It's high time to make peace with Russia so you can get started on rebuilding your country. Zelensky is not interested in peace because his life depends on the war's continuation, so if you want peace any time soon, you will have to take matters into your own hands and deal with this tyrant yourselves.

Please, think about your future.

The president of the court doesn't have the power of appointing or refusing judges, they are elected by the parliament.
What he did was unconstitutional.
Nawrocki appointed him exactly because he would do that.

"Article 194

The Constitutional Tribunal shall be composed of 15 judges chosen individually by the Sejm for a term of office of 9 years from amongst persons distinguished by their knowledge of the law. No person may be chosen for more than one term of office."

Screw your cope tranny arguments.

All poor countries have both trade surpluses and a much higher PPP than nominal GDP, because both of these figures are actually measures of domestic poverty despite shitskin poorfags bragging about them.

I think it's so sad what has happened to Poland. Looking from the outside, Poland seemed like a last bastion of sanity in the EU standing up to French and German lunacy. What happened? Even Hungary has fallen now.
>>
>>545358347
They should just do it instead of announce it. Announcing it beforehand is stupid and cringe and makes them seem even more desperate than they actually are.
>>
>>545369160
exactly, nawrocki is usurping powers that he doesnt have, and this is very clear to anyone who has even basic understanding of our constitution.
>>
>>545369258
what happened? we prefer to be aligned with western Europe, not russia, thats what happened. And we made that choice centuries ago, this never changed.

What happens now that the prez and vice-prez of the court have lost immunity? Do they immediately face criminal charges?

It honestly brings a tear to my eye when I think about Warsaw in a few decades. Blacks and Indians everywhere, crime through the roof, call to prayer blasting through loudspeakers in every city... it didn't have to be like that.

>>
>>545369424
if i understand correctly their immunity has not yet been revoked, the prosecutor's request will have to be reviewed by the interim prez, that was the main reason why prez and vice prez got removed - because legally they are not allowed to review request about themselves

Absolutely, they do this all the time in their natural habitat. They don't do this in town because domestication has changed their behavior.

>we will never bow down to russians
Catherine II turned the throne of the Polish kinglets into a toilet seat for herself.
>>
>>545369735
At present, your country is literally unprepared for anything.

Most of Polish society does not know what to do when a major crisis occurs, when there is no water, food, electricity, gas, or internet. In 1939, politicians also believed they had the best army and chanted propaganda slogans in the media: 'Forces, black and great,' and then were shocked by Poland's defeat.
