Theres nothing that is going to get me to believe that making females pilots is a good idea ever. Its insane. Idiotic. And I don't know what history this female pilot/co-pilot had or anything about her skills. I am completely open to learning her proficiency or lack of it had something to do with the crash.That all said, I have yet to hear anything that conclusively says that in this particular tragedy, that she did anything in error of her own reasoning that was directly the cause of the crash. As a layperson, I continue to be confused why it sounded like she was not directed to avoid the storm altogether. Flying "over" a storm at 30k feet just seems like bad reasoning to me personally. I'm sure its a common practice but it still sounds odd to a layperson, like you are gambling with nature.

ENOUGH. The female pilot did nothing wrong. She was the CO pilot, which means that she wasn't piloting the plane. The MALE co-pilot was. As the CO pilot, her job was to stay on the coms and communicate to the situation with air traffic control, which she did until the very end.
