Actual discussion on politics is drowned out with insults and shitposting.So why is this a thing? What does angering or demoralizing a seemingly random-demographic userbase accomplish? Is it [insert country or group you don't like] bots? Or just sad sacks who want others accompany them in their misery? I remember when banter here was like picrel, but now it's become vitriol and vague threats of violence. And nobody seems to bother making oc memes anymore.this is the /pol/ meta thread.
