Realistically if WBD drops AEW, ION is the most likely landing spot. Tony would also have to start bulk taping and trim a ton of fat off the roster otherwise costs will quickly mount. ECW died once they lost the TNN spot and no other channel/network would take them, even though Vince was pushing USA to pick them up. The WCW deal with Eric's group fell apart once it was clear Turner wanted nothing to do with wrestling anymore and like with ECW, no other channel/network wanted it. Even after Vince bought it out and tried to sell it to networks.
