AEW chose Wednesdays because they wanted to take a shot at WWE, but were too afraid to compete with Raw or Smackdown, so they decided to go head to head with NXT instead. AEW easily could have put Dynamite on Tuesday, or Thursday, or Saturday, or Sunday.
