The problem is he never put in the years in house shows learning the flow of a match. Part of it is a cadence thing and Logan was just rigidly going from spot to spot, hesitating a bit, and the action felt "jerky" and overly rehearsed with constant little pauses caused by inexperience. You also saw tonight that he would chain two moves together, then he and Cena would be down on the mat talking to him and walking him through the next sequence. All wrestlers talk to each other briefly during a match, but tonight cena was dropping full paragraphs on Logan and the camera kept having to cut away to the distant shot from the hard cam. Usually after a big spot the ringside camera men zoom in on each wrestlers face for them to sell their pain and exhaustion, but with people like jellyroll or logan paul they always end up filming the veteran wrestler calling the match. It breaks immersion. With that said paul is getting better and is putting on consistently good shows. He just needs to get past the hand holding from his veteran opponents. In an ideal world if he wasn't so busy with his day job, he could go on the road and polish the act night after night in house shows, or put him in a mask and send him to AAA small shows and let him wrestle anonymously for experience, and then wrestle as his "logan paul character" on the PLE once every month or two.
