Vegas is one of the best places for this in many ways. No shortage of venues of all sizes. Free wifi everywhere. Lots of shit to do outside of shows. Its just the problem Vegas has had in general since it became corporate and especially since the plandemic. The place is too fuckin expensive. Stay off the strip and its a little better but you still have to be in the know to find the places that validate parking with a little free play, or don't charge out the nose for a drink. $25 minimum tables. Added fees everywhere. Cheap meals and generous waitress are years gone.They need people bringing cash and spending it on the merch, not blowing it all on food and overpriced hotels. I actually love the city but the whole Vegas model needs to change, particularly as people have options to gamble online now anyway. I hope someone chooses business sense over base greed.All that said, I'd rather deal with Vegas prices again than go to New Orleans where there isn't shit to do but count the gunshots at night.

You're not going to see as many American shows because the visa costs are astronomical now and the whole bureaucracy is a shitshow. Nobody wants to pay like $1200 per person just to get visas and then not even know if they'll be approved on time.

He probably could have finagled a new one if he stayed with NJPW even as a freelancer, and then left anyway. I know foreign ROH talent that got signed right before COVID were able to use those visas even after they got released, but it might have been a goodwill gesture from Cary Silkin. They lasted a few years so that's why you saw Adam Brooks and Session Moth Martina in the states for a bit after the borders opened back up.
