Backyard wrestling will always be the truest, most based, and near-mystical form of pro wrestling there is, and its death is the strongest signifier of the sorry state of the ''sport'' than anything else, 1000x moreso than ratings or ticket sales ever could. I hope you've gone over the bell curve slope and managed to see the light, anon.
Yardtards are always gonna yardtard anon it's never dead
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwMGAhCQG7E&t=533sAs long as there is, will and has been wrestling, there's always been two brothers or siblings or two friends that would do what they saw on TV.There are still yardtard feds out there, anon. Lots even, and I'm sure others would be able to provide some of their guilty pleasure feds. The peak of it was of course during and post-Attitude era because it fit in and encapsulated the rebellious and crass zeitgeist that was culture at the time. There have as of now been world champions that started out backyard wrestling, almost getting too many to name. Is it based? Yes, but anybody worth their salt as a wrestling fan will tell you to get training if you really want to do it. Other than that, it probably is a fun way to spend a Saturday night with a few beers just watching the local retards put on a wrestling show. Its most definitely a bastardization of what's good and great about wrestling and in a lot of if not most cases deserves its scorn and vitriol. As pointed out before, backyard wrestling is somewhat like horror movies; it never dies, it just goes to sleep. But its definitely cheap entertainment for fans and kids in areas where there is fuck all else to do. They're literally the original, if not the epitome, of mudshow hotdog and handshake wrestling and paralysis for a piss-warm Busch beer. Its good shit, but don't get your hopes up for more than shit.
>>18711928Yes breaking your bones or dying doing stupid shit is based
>>18712088100%
>>18712088This.
>>18712088Backyard wrestlers are unironically safer workers than indie shitters. They understand what they're doing is dangerous and respect the danger. We've all seen the webm where that indie dumbfuck obliterates his buddy's spine with a sit out piledriver from 15 fucking feet in the air through a table and on to the pine. Yardtards don't do that shit.
>>18712088Yes.
>>18711928>Backyard wrestling will always be the truest, most based, and near-mystical form of pro wrestling there is>backyard wrestling ..... professional wrestling>backyard... professional So...how many dimes did you draw with this.....professional backyard activity? View counts on hundreds of content thief channels on liveleak and socials don't count as drawing a dime.

>>18712475if he's gonna call it a truest form of PROFESSIONAL wrestling then he better explain whats so professional about these Wendy's chefs doing it on the weekend.
>>18712160Eh ..... they sometimes do
>>18712275That's some real nigga shit right there
>>18712160I think there's a lot of truth to this.Injuries happen when you get complacent. Complacency comes from having done something so many times that you don't think anything can go wrong.Your average amateur backyarder usually has a healthy fear of hurting himself, given he's probably seen the same videos you have. There are obvious exceptions but it's true for the most part.
>>18712759To be fair, those Wendy's folks are cooks - Wendy's do have chefs but they work at corporate.Chefs are the people who design the meals in the first place, not the people who heat things up.
>>18712088This but unironically
Fuck yeahhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=px6IlQ0hazI
>>18711928Retarded yardtards spots are forever my favorite thing in wrestling
>>18712759Did you not see 'Beyond the Mat'? There's a wrestler in that movie that charges after and tries to attack a fan that spat in his face and calls him out to a fight with $1000 dollars saying he wouldn't show and his real job was a mechanic for United Airlines.
Known yard tards:>Foley>Punk>The Bung Yucks>The Hardy's had their own fed, OMEGA, and and it included Shannon Moore and Gregory Helms>"Sick" Nick Mondo>I.C.P.
>>18713647You are right. ESL, please understand>>18714372>Beyond the MatNo I haven't watched every wrestling related media, but sounds interesting, thanks for the recommendation.
>>18714599scorpio sky was a massive yardtard as well. there's a good amount of available footage of him doing 450s on the gravel and shit like that.
Its kino.
too bad the backyard wrestling videogame sucked
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eBT_c1v6kAI don't condone the conduct of these types of matches usually but I will say there is something nice about having the ring sitting in the middle of a field or amongst the lush green trees somewhere outside with lots of sun and fresh air. Makes for a nice atmosphere, especially if during the card the clouds starts to gather and rain begins to drizzle down as the opponents are in mid-slobberknocker.
Soft Ground counts as backyard wrestling desu
