Why did you quit watching and what would it take to get you back?
>>18743042Quit watching because it failed to deliver on its promises repeatedly. I had so much hope when it all started and it eventually became clear it wasn't going anywhere.Honestly, for me to give it another chance Tony would have to step back completely from having a hand in any aspect of the company and put competent people in charge.I don't see that happening since this is obviously just his toy.
>>18743042I watch for Buddy.
Stopped after Bryan debuted and couldn't beat any of the Elite gang and Mox couldn't beat the Elite gang and nothing was happening outside of Punk stuff. I got into the Hurt Business stuff but they killed that quick, maybe because they aren't the Elite or their circle of friends. They also had Mox become Brock Lesnar and no sell and destroy everyone on the roster just to put the title back on Page so I see no hope or point in watching. Ospreay also seems determine to lose to everybody and it seems like they are going to just find an excuse to put the belt on him in London which is so corny.
I only watch wrestling through reddit and youtube clips now desu, don't think anything could get me to sit down and watch a 2 hour show from any brand
>>18743042I quit watching for years but came back this January when they hit MAX. It's been a good year but I'm losing interest again since there's nothing going on, most TV matches are extremely predictable, and there's no hot young new faces besides extremely midcard guys like JetSpeed. Who am I supposed to watch the show for? Pretty much the only young guys I like are Don Callis heels (Fletcher, Hechicero, Takeshita)
they need a hard reset. a lot of storylines right now fucking suck or are going way too long. moxley club, max caster “best wrestler alive”, don callus infinitely large family…i miss when aew was more focused, and when tony wasnt scared to try something new when a “long term idea” wasnt going over well
>>18743042Big NuJamalfag here. Stopped watching when they poached Okada and never used him on uppercards correctly.
Repeatedly stupid booking decisions. Putting the belt on a complete anti-draw like Hangman not once, but twice, only proves Tony has no idea what he's doing. Either Tony Khan dies or someone else takes over for me to watch again.Without his dad's money he would have failed ten times over.
>>18743587wrestling tv should go back to being an hour long desu
>>18743042>Why did you quit watchingWhen Tony chose The Elite and Jungle Boy over CM Punk I realized AEW was utterly fucked beyond all hope and there was no point in watching it anymore because things were never going to get better and they were only going to get much worse. Which they have.>what would it take to get you back?Tony Khan being forcibly removed from his own company, all the dimeless shitters getting fired from the roster(so 98% of the roster), and a team of veteran TV industry professionals coming in to take over AEW. Also the AEW brand is toxic now so change the name.
>>18743042Hahahahahehoahahsh oh man and I can't stop laughing but I fear it is gonna be a hate crime one day as they slink more into minority status, brothers....
>>18743615I am sorry I thought OP said>Laugh at AEW fansHahahaha so I did that. And I keep doing it. And I will never stop doing it.
>>18743596>they need a hard reset.The 12th hard reset's the charm!
I stopped watching after they cancelled Dark.
>>18743623South Park?
>>18743614>Also the AEW brand is toxic now so change the name.It isn't that bad yet fortunately.
No PunkNo DanielsonPoaching washed nujamals instead of even attempting to build up anyone.
>>18743633Who would even be saying this, at this point? And here, nonetheless?
More surprises with the booking. More unexpected title changes. More unexpected things happening in general. It's all about building to PPVs with Tony which doesn't really make sense given that's not where most of their revenue comes from, it's the TV deal and the TV show is boring as shit. Yeah the PPVs are great but so what if Dynamite fucking sucks and nobody watches it. They need to put on a great TV show every week, the PPVs can afford to have a lot less on them.
>>18743606Yeah, the way they fucked over Nooj played a big part in me stopping watching as well.I'll always primarily be a puroresu guy. They actively made the company I enjoy watching suck. I didn't start watching AEW as a result. I just moved on to different puroresu companies.
Freeuse harley cameron for at least a day
>>18743555No you don't. You don't watch at all
>>18743042I stopped watching because it became boring a bit during Swerve's reign but watched Forbidden Door. Think I'll keep up with the PPVs now but there's a lot of problems. Reminds me now of watching TNA back in the day, it's either really good or really terrible
>>18743642Me.It's bad but it isn't bad enough to change the whole company name. You'd need something going on like gay orgies with little boys in the back to be toxic enough to warrant a name change.
>>18743661Cooked that ringboy loving pig
>>18743646Also Ive never watched AEW but fucking harley cameron I'll keep it as background noise.
>>18743042Mostly just got bored. The PPVs are usually good but the weekly shows were really boring and inconsistent and I just slowly lost interest over time. Other than a handful of matches I haven't watched in almost 2 years
>>18743646For me, it's Anna Jay.
Meltzer, Cultaholic, WhatCulture, Twitter, and most importantly this board's own Hogwheels, completely ruined AEW for me.It's a cult of cunts. Nothing but constant praise from biased media for a dog shit product that nobody watches.
>>18743546I was promised American New Japan but was delivered a gay version of 2001 WCW
>>18743661>it isn't bad enough to change the whole company nameYou don't get it, Anon. People have lost faith in the AEW brand. If they get told "AEW is good again!" they won't believe it at all and they'll just ignore it. AEW shills have cried wolf about AEW being "good again" way too many times at this point. But changing the name would signify that AEW has been seriously overhauled for real and indicate that there might be some chance that it actually is good again.
>>18743704This, too. "A sports-based alternative" turned out to be what would happen if Vince era WWE was aimed at neckbeards.
>>18743727Ok but I'm confused? So what then it still doesn't mean it is no good
i stop watching whenever hangman is champion
>>18743042We're all watching on Max what are you talking about?
>>18743588>hechicero>younguh?
>>18743704i know this is a lie cause it is nothing like 2001 WCW. every WCW match in that era barely 3 minute’s long and hardly even had a definitive winner. complete opposite of AEW that has long ass matches that never end and barely utilizes DQ’s
>>18743652No one watches.
>>18743987I agree trannies and gays are not people
>>18743614>When Tony chose The Elite and Jungle Boy over CM PunkThis was the smartest thing Tony did. What he did was solidify a loyal fanbase who will never ever leave him. If he would have chose Punk there probably would have been more people initially, but they would have been average fans who stop watching when they don’t like something. The fans he earned from choosing The Bucks and JB will watch this shit until the very last day.
>>18743998Take a look in the lake’s reflection and see the person that you are. Then get back to me.
>>18743969I guess I meant new on the scene. I don't really care if they're 20 or 40 at the end of the day, just somebody new who looks awesome and is treated like a threat and is pushed so it's fun to root for them.
>>18744001>a loyal fanbase who will never leave himDude, the attendance and TV ratings keep fucking declining. So much for them "never leaving."
>>18744012how many fans do you think the young bucks have? they have less than 500,000 ppl worldwide. the ppl leaving are not who im talking about. the small crowd of ppl who are still there are the ones who will always be there
>>18743042I miss Punk. He was worth sitting through the young cucks/hangma’am shit for. If they bring in the joshi girls and let them beat the shit out of the gaijin girls O would watch, but honestly the bloom has left the rose.
>>18743042I stopped watching once SCU, private party, and Glacier left. I'm surprised you guys kept up with it for this long.
>>18743042I stopped watching when they signed a bunch of WWE rejects
>>18743860You can't read.
>>18744137I accept your concession
>>18744140Doubt that was even you and I also know it wasn't so I don't concede whatsoever.
>>18744001>AEW has a core fanbase of 700k people>AEW has a core fanbase of 600k people>AEW has a core fanbase of 500k people>AEW has a core fanbase of 400k peopleThe "loyal fanbase that will never ever stop watching AEW" keeps shrinking. >The fans he earned from choosing The Bucks and JB will watch this shit until the very last day. That's not even remotely true.
>>18744148AEW had a nice first 2 1/2 years of pure gold. Stacked roster. Great story angles. Excellent announce team. And then Cody became a faggot. The End.
>>18743042Left when Phil left. I replaced it with nothing, I only watch the rumble and Mania from WWE.I would need the Bucks to be fired and I would need Tony Khan to publicly say that the Elite friendship angles are gay as fuck.
I fell off because I'm a terminal wage cuck and can barely find the time to watch the WWE.I basically only watch Raw and watch Smackdown and general AEW clips on YT
>>18743042I've never watched AEW and I'm proud of that. I don't really watch WWE anymore and I'm proud of that too.I finally got a girlfriend y'all. And I won't let her find out I was ever a loser like you uncels.
