The whole thing was a set up. Most of the aew roster never thought wrestling was going to be there career. Then here comes the money mark, their angel, who was not only going to pay them more than any shoot job but was also going to let them keep that indie schedule if they got lost in the shuffle or could finesse him into letting them shoot a bunch of backstage angles at once so they wouldn’t need to go to work for the next two months. It was perfect, money for nothing. And then here comes mean Mr Brooks who wants this to be treated like a job. He tried turning their hobby into work, and worst of all he had their angles ear. He had to go. Cue Pages mumble mouth shoot promo, cue the attack backstage, cue all the mockery on television and finally the smallest and gayest wrestler alive calling him out during what would be their biggest show ever.
