What do people expect him to do? AEW can't just copy WWE. What actual booking advice would you have for him?
>>18791386>AEW can't just copy WWE.Tell that to Tony.>What actual booking advice would you have for him?Stop booking. Let other, better people do it.
To get ride of the e-shitters, stop trying to get every free agent around and focus on what he has.
>>18791386I'd tell him to focus on the main event and delegate the booking of everything else to a team he trusts.
>>18791419"a team he trusts" would just be a team full of Tonys booking the exact same way he books. The book needs to be given to somebody who's the opposite of Tony. The Anti-Tony.
All he has to do to let go and hand over management and booking to others. That's it.He has Jeff Jarrett and JR. Just ask them who should have the book and who should be in charge of management. They don't even have to be in wrestling necessarily.Even Vince brought on guys like Russo, Gerwirtz and Nick Khan to do management and creative who were better than him.But he won't because this is just a plaything to him and he's not serious about actually making successful.
>>18791419Danielson said he would love to be in charge of ROH
>>18791442Tony's very serious about making AEW successful. The problem is that "success" in Tony's mind means Meltzer stars and Cagematch ratings.
>>18791469Honestly? As long as Tony is happy then AEW should be considered a success.
Height, weights, sex, shower, clue.
>>18791437Bill Watts is still alive and Tony is a big fan. Might have to keep him away from all the blacks, but he does have the closest thing to an opposite vision from Tony
>>18791386write compelling TV rather than "muh indie callback" and stop making PPV-worthy matchups free on TV with no buildups.
>>18791386Book AEW like he did in the beginning.
>>18791737He'd have to go back to sharing booking power with Kenny, The Cucks, and Cody. And Cody isn't an option anymore.
>>18791754>And Cody isn't an option anymore.....is there any actual legal reason Cody couldn't book (not wrestle) for Tony while still in WWE? And even if there was he could just put Dustin Rhodes in charge and have him phone his brother covertly to get his input.
There's nothing to do though. In the history of pro wrestling and the various promotions that were around, once business starts trending downward, in the vast majority of cases, it keeps going that way. WCW and WWE turned around their shit in the late 90s, WWE at least got attendance up the last 3 or so years.
>>18791386Best advice would be to hire someone who can book.
