This only validates AEW as a credible threat. As much mudslinging as tko is doing, AEW proves time and time again it isn't second rate. It is an actual contender in the wrestling world. It means better pay and opportunities for talent and workers in the industry. Without Tony paying wrestlers their worth, TKO would be penny pinching and cutting wages left and right.
I rather have a world where there are options in the entertainment we consume, rather than it stuffed in our faces at every turn.
Over saturation is a thing, and maybe that's what TKO aims to do.
Kill the wrestling bubble and take everyone down with the ship. If they can't seem to be number 1, they'd rather burn the industry to the ground.

aew is a failing business. nobody has to attack all you have to do is sit back and laugh
>>
>>18796131
>paying wrestlers their worth
lmao jobbers/shitters still make six figures in WWE, what more do they want
>>
>>18796110
>it's own math
Thank you Dave saar
>>
>>18796075
Dave's actually right this time. AEW blinking and moving All Out will make WWE attack them even harder and more mercilessly because now Tony has made the critical mistake of displaying fear and weakness.
>>
>>18796131
The reason WWE wants to kill AEW is simple: so they can pay their wrestlers much, much less money.

Tony is making them spend to retain their talent by offering a viable and high-paying alternative. They really do not want that to exist. I'm surprised they haven't just tried to assassinate him.
>>
Do WWE think I'm going to watch their slop if AEW dies? I'll just stop watching wrestling and start calling it fake gay shit like normies.
>>
>>18796131
>It is an actual contender in the wrestling world.
No it isn't. AEW's ratings and attendance are going down in flames. They're less competitive with WWE now than they've ever been before. But you're right about one thing: the actual threat AEW represents is fucking up the industry's pay structure. That's the real reason TKO wants to run it out of business.
>>
>>18796194
The only reason wrestling is fun again is due to options now. We were forced to watch whatever slop WWE churned out. AEW made wrestling entertaining, we can now switch channels if we don't like a product.
But now, WWE is just out and absorbing the competition. They've wised up from the tactics used on the territories.
>>
>>18796131
This is the gayest shit I’ve read on here in years. How do you cocksucking losers even find 4chan. Fuck you pussy.
>>
>>18796110
The AI understands math, just not whatever convoluted bullshit Dave posts he claims is math.
>>
>>18796214
It's not fun though. WWE is soulless sterile garbage and AEW has zero hype. Sure AEW ppvs are still mostly good and the shows are more watchable, but neither company will ever be appointment viewing ever again. But rest assured, if they succeed in killing AEW, my son won't be watching a second of WWE and I'll sell all my 90s tees and delete all my wrestling content. The business will be completely dead to me.

but tony isnt even doing that. nobody has jumped ship to aew in years. even most people that left the fed for aew have returned to the wwe. going to aew devalues you as a wrestler

why would they smell blood in the water? everything is great, you've said so yourself repeatedly the last few months
>>
>>18796270
TNA sucks now and is in bed with WWE. MLW and NWA are irrelevant and I've never really got into Japan or Mexico so yeah I'd be done with wrestling completely bro. I was watching AEW, WWE and TNA in 2023. Now I've got better stuff to with my time.
>>
>>18796262
WWE died the day he sold it to tko. If hhh and Stephanie(or maybe it was Nick all along who may have allegedly leaked Vince's scandal to the press to oust him)didn't try to usurp him, he wouldn't have sold.
Now we have w soulless corporate husk that only cares about maximizing profits at the expense of the life long fans.

If they do cause AEW's death, I will sweat off wrestling like I did after WCW and ECW died. I didn't watch for years, until AEW created a fresh buzz to the waning industry.
>>
>>18796279
Tony made Ospreay and Swerve millionaires and managed to keep hold of Hook and DG, likely by paying them a lot more money than WWE so the OP is correct. Why WWE fans have to play ignorant about this I do not know.

What's so funny? Tony gave them a lot more money and they chose that over the NXT contract. By no means am I fans of these guys, but that's what happened
>>
>>18796075
so he admits AEW is a fish and WWE is the shark?
>>
>>18796306
>Tony made Ospreay and Swerve millionaires and managed to keep hold of Hook
not playing ignorant was simply saying overpaying nobodies isnt attracting big names from the wwe anymore. no need to pay swerve millions when vince fired him. sure i heard a rumor triple h wanted him back but even if true swerve isnt a big time playa. he is never going to move the needle
>>
>>18796334
>What's so funny?
>Tony gave them a lot more money
thats whats so funny. everybody except for tony and you can see those guys arent worth it. but again even though he is offering people more money many are still choosing to leave aew like mariah may and jade and ricky starks etc
>>
>>18796359
WWE admits AEW is so much of a threat, they need to shift thier business practices just to counter program.

What a bitch move on tko's part. Makes them come off as desperate.

>>18796446

Just ignore that AEW ran against NXT
>>

So its fine if AEW runs its show at the same time as NXT but if WWE runs a ppv hours after aews ppv they are evil
>>

>>
>>18796075
Why does he feel the need to stand for AEW, don't tell me he really co-owns AEW with Tony's mother.
>>
>>18796075
Why does he care so much about this indie company? He's so emotionally invested. Unless the 3% ownership stake is real
>>
>>18796214

>>
>>18796184
Could be argued that All Out going before Wrestlepaloza benefits AEW. Their fans were going to watch anyway; however, retention is going to be tough. Taking the sloppy seconds slot isn't WWE style.
>>
>>18796387
Like a dozen wwe people have said they want to work in AEW, they just aren't getting in anymore. AEW hasn't signed anyone from WWE since i think the hurt syndicate.

>paying wrestlers their worth,
Wrestlers aren't worth shit, they're cheap disposable acts that often not only don't draw but take it negative. Wrestling was better when they were fighting for bread instead of happily sharing it. Bring back the cutthroat mentality of monetary scarcity.

>>18796306

That doesn't matter. Raw and Smackdown are in no danger of being canceled. Dynamite and Collision are. Meltzer once said that AEW had nothing to worry about as long as the key demo remained 0.18 or above. It's below 0.18 now.

I'd be asshurt too if I owned a percentage of AEW like Dave does.

Love pics they used. Paul, a confident alpha male. Then there's Tony looking like the dorky cokehead he is.

Kek a machine that is constantly learning and gathering inputs everyday is not stronger than Dave's Jew maths where it only serves to agree with his own agenda
