Can WWE ever recapture the magic of the old times? I didn't even grow up with wrestling and I can see how much better it was, so it's not just some nostalgia thing.

The Bloodline Saga was the peak of wrestling and maybe even 21st century storytelling and the edgy boomer era could never compete. It's up there with The Avengers Infinity War-Endgame in terms of deftly weaving a lengthy and multifaceted plot brimming with brilliant characters of unfathomable depth and telling a story of tremendous genius that keeps audiences talking for years (so far!). The Bloodline Saga will join the annals of brilliant theater alongside the works of Euripides and Sophocles, Shakespeare and Marlowe, and Beckett and Ibsen. Wrestling, and possibly art itself, will never come close to those heights of unbridled artistic perfection and I thank my lord and savior Jesus Christ everyday that I was able to experience it and I dream daily of the days when I'll be able to tell my children and later my grandchildren about what it was like to witness (or should I say Acknowledge!) The Tribal Chief first hand.

Nah. If WCW was around in the sizzling summer of 2025, people would be making the same threads, it just peaked

No. It's dying a slow death because they have completely failed to build new young male stars in the last decade

No until they find wrestlers with charisma, sadly charisma is a dying trait

Not as long as they won't do house shows. Wrestlers need those sorts of frequent match reps where the storyline isn't required to be advanced to hone their ring instincts and chemistry (and also dry-run experiment on gimmicks that can organically get over). Only doing TV + PLEs is one reason why modern wrestling appears less fluid than earlier eras because wrestlers don't have enough practice where calling audibles or improvising when they or their opponents are out of position/botch becomes second nature. The action ends up feeling disconnected from spot-to-spot. Also WWE micromanages the wresters' match via the ref to a far greater degree now in terms of duration and what moves to perform than in the past which also contributes to the stilted character/psychology of the action (an example of this being wrestlers end up selling too long or not long enough while waiting on instructions).

Worthless waste of money in an age where everything and everyone has a camera. There's a reason why WWE got rid of them and AEW failed at doing them.

Not a new phenomena. The Curtain Call was filmed and kayfabe is dead, but suspension of disbelief can still happen. There will always be smarks seeking out dark match footage/sniffing dirt sheets but for the wider audience the extra ring work by the roster between storyline matches contributes to a better product.

>extra ring work
workrate never draws. character and charisma is the sole driving draw factor

Not with Vince gone
