But it's been long enough since the US indies were "killed" by AEW/NXT, indie talent being "snatched up as soon as they show any promise" demonstrably doesn't happen anymore. That was 4-5 years ago, not today. Yet we're still not seeing any signs of recovery. There's really no excuse for the indies anymore. Indie wrestlers are just not putting the work in.
