I think the problem is that the music doesn't fit Vaq's music right now. It sounds badass, but she hasn't done anything of note to capture the essence of her sound.
Basically, she hasn't displayed any personality other than "I'm the best, I want to fight" and just sounds like a mark for her own theme. If she really gives a shit, she'd be begging creative to make her a heel or something.
