>AEW equivalent of second WrestleMania ala SummerSlam
>zero hype with underwhelming cards
What went wrong?
>>
No one, and I mean NO ONE, and I fucking mean ABSOLUTELY NO ONE, watches AEW
>>
>>18834282
why do edrones claim every AEW PPV is their Wrestlemania equivalent? this happens every month
>>
The name of the show is Live PPV? What kind of second rate pissant naming is that?
>>
>>18834282
I’m hype but
A) you can’t really have an AEW thread here without pushback from various marketing teams, investors, and employees from WWE.
B) there are virtually no positive threads here on this board at all that isn’t a general, coombait, or nostalgia bait.

With the exception of the very day of shows, it is near impossible to have discussion on this topic here. This is what happens when you are on a containment board to a containment board.

We have positive threads all the time. There is even a weekly recurring positive thread, every weekend, mmmmm. Most of us here genuinely love one another and then your ilk comes along and spams porn when we are trying to watch TV as bros. Can't even bantz with each other for fear of unleashing the rage you percolate with every time you see people enjoying WWE, TNA, NWA, NJPW, STARDOM, NOAH, AAA.
It doesn't take a genius to dissect why no one likes AEW, and the sad part is it is only in small part because of the shitty product - AEW fans have burned all good graces with the rest of the wrestling world. You killed your own favorite show.
>>
>>18834282
What are you supposed to be excited for? The main event got announced one week before the show lol
>>
>>18834476
No, I have actually autistically counted.
>All the time
Hardly, you can actually make the valid assumption that no one likes wrestling here.
>there’s even one positive thread on the weekends
Wow
>>
>>18834292
Because every AEW PPV feels important and has a stacked card
>>
>>18834491
Case in point: you are currently in a positive thread where everyone is joyous and only you are upset. Seems to be a trend.

It’s tricky because All Out WAS their WrestleMania since they didn’t have ownership to the All In name which was owned by ROH.
Since they bought ROH, they had access to All In which spiritually is the much bigger and impactful show and it became their actual WrestleMania

An attempt was made to make All in and All Out a kind of a festival of wrestling between the two shows but it was mostly met with negativity with little enough time passing between shows on the road to All Out. More time was spread between the two shows to allow more build for the latter. The result is that All Out has become a revenge show for All In

You think this or the op is positivity?
>>
>>18834547
Everyone is smiling so I take that as positivity, yes. Maybe even double dog positivity because our smiles are at the expense of the fanbase that shits up the board.

Tony could've make All In and All Out back to back nights and advertise it All Elite Weekend

That misses the point and makes it a 2 day event for all in.

I think the ultimate idea would eventually be All in Sunday then a week of Wrestling leading to All In. I think that’s what they wanted to do seeing how so many promotions turn WrestleMania into WrestleWeek

All they had to do was build the show around Edge and Christian reuniting. They got it right with promoting it as the big Toronto show. They got it right using Edge on the poster. They even did the reunion angle. But holy shit did Tony fuck it up. He rushed through the entire part that mattered blowing past any chance of tension or reconciliation between the two. The stuff that was the actual story. Just to throw them in a meaningless tag match against Kip Sabian an entire month before this show. Meanwhile the actual story with FTR is sloppily done and rushed to the point of them all just sitting around waiting for weeks now with nothing left to do with it. On top of that the match is placed somewhere isn't even explicitly being pushed as the main event. Instead there's more focus on fucking Daniel Garcia. The company deserves to fail because they do it to themselves

Wrestlepalooza pre-show has edge on it? Neat
>>
>>18834292
Because it'll be the reset aew needs
>>
>AEW PPV this weekend
>Drones start coping and making absolutely retarded posts
Every time
>>
>>18834839
aew fans are a bunch of faggots and all they do is make retarded posts
>>
>>18834839
I'm not aware of any aew shows, this weekend kicks off with Smack, which leads in to Wrestlepalooza and college football. Get a grip ya finna skitzo.
>>
>>18834817
Why is Edge alone in the poster? Also, there are no good teams for him and Christian to face. Lashley and Benjamin should be defending the tag title against them as a dominant heel duo that has destroyed every other team in the company, but there can't be black heels because Tony and the fanbase are gay.
