>makes Undertaker a star >solidifies Austin as a top babyface >makes Dwayne a star>makes Hunter a star and solidifies him as a top heel ladies and gentlemen, the true GOAT of the attitude era
>>18848304Mostly true. aboutt he feuds with Hunter though:>the 97 feud got Mankind's alter egos and Chyna over, Triple H was just there>the 2000 feud only made Triple H a main eventer because of the excessive television time he was given. If you watch the Raws from this period you'll remember this feud was actually an attempt at a burial but it backfired when Cactus put his working boots on at the Rumble
>>18848304He's obviously not the GOAT because come on that was Austin's era but he's the largely unsung third most important talent in the AE behind Austin/RockWWE have tried to stick Triple H and Undertaker in that role but it was always MickAE ranking of important of onscreen characters goesAustin > Vince/Rock (debatable and interchangeable) > Mick
>>18848304>>makes Hunter a star and solidifies him as a top heelThat's real funny anon. But you see the fact of the matter is, in this business, Triple H was always going to be the most over guy in the entire WWE because he's that damn good.
>>18848304Don't forget he and Terry Funk got the New Age Outlaws over>pic rel
>>18848304He didnt do shit, he was a complete jobber
>>18848544holy shit, completely forgot about that one. I realised this while watching 1996-1997 Raw episodes and the most over people are Austin, Foley, Ahmed Johnson and Goldust. Triple H was coming out to crickets until his feud with Foley in 97. Same with Taker. Mankind and Paul Bearer saved Undertaker from being completely useless in 97, and of course the debut of Kane.Austin was most over, but was still essentially a heel character until Foley got involved.
>>18848304Always hated this fat faggot. Waste of tv time for some fat retard ecw knock off
>>18848551>t. paul levesque
>>18848551>>18848569The SCjerks hate him so he must've been great
>>18848551then why did it matter when people would defeat him?
>>18848304Also has the single, most famous hardcore spot ever.
>>18848304Austin is still the GOAT of the Attitude Era, but Foley is the legit Number 3 of the Attitude Era.>Muh TakerCarder needed Foley to revive his career in 1996. Undertaker between 1993 and 1995 was one of the worst era of the Taker character. Feuding with Taker not only legitimized Mankind, but it also brought new energy and a different side to the Undertaker's character.>Muh HaitchTriple H had NO legitimately interesting feud in the WWF until he started feuding with Mankind after their King of the Ring finals match. And that feud mainly helped solidify Foley as a babyface and helped put Chyna over as Hunter's dominant enforcer. Then by 1999 when he started to flounder as the top heel of the WWF, who had to step in again to make people think Triple H was a legit top heel? Foley again.Basically, Foley is the bonafide Top 3 of the Attitude Era.
>>18848722It didn't. Nobody gave a fuck who beat him. It was cool when he won because he was a jobber.
>>18849240Based retard
>>18848304Don't forget Randy Orton and you can also argue Edge
>>18848304FOLEY! I KNOW YER HERE FOLEY! I COULD SMELL THE CUNNY A MILE AWAY
