What are the actual bottom-of-the-iceberg wrestling promotions? Not the meme-y Hoodslam/Incredibly Strange Wrestling indie shit, but the actual out-of-the-way stuff. The only things that come to mind are Doglegs (the Japanese promotion that mainly uses retarded wrestlers) and Cholita wrestling, that Bolivian offshoot of lucha where all the women wear really heavy trad costumes.
I suppose the Indian street feds with Rakesh Kumar Orton count as well? Is there anything else?

Does the Christian wrestling wave of the early 2000s count? Vince Russo booked this, with Paul Bearer leading a heel stable of Erik Watts and Jazz, defeated by the Christian love of D'Lo Brown and Jimmy Rave.
