streets are saying his wwe deal expires at midnight? what's next for santos escobar?
>>
Don callis family
>>

Hispanics are ditching the fed without giving it a second thought. Laredo Kid who is also leaving the fed adjacent TNA promotion too.
>>
Legado del Fantasma are pretty over so I suspect he'll get renewed

they.. are?

They're "comes out to silence but crowd pops when they do flips" over
>>

No idea, but I'd pay money to give Berto a hand job from behind while he bites my other fingers.

would explain why he wasnt with Humberto and Garza last week

Literally who
>>
>>18986187
He's like the best Mexican promo guy WWE has, no idea why they didn't just let him talk more

guess this is the norm of 'lowballing' you and tko jews saying "can you fare better than don callis member #27 raking slightly above trent baretta? then feel free to explore your options"
>>
>>18986327
Funny how Sean implies that they are worth more than whatever WWE was offering
>>
>>18986327
Who gives a shit? They have a hundred people in their developmental they can slot it at any time in that spot, it's not like anyone is cares about any of those names lmao
>>
>>18986363
I guess those press releases of tko doing 'record profits' are just hot air then
>>
He never impressed, and never got over.
>>
>>18986327

it is tko being jewish but fair

This is why smarks don't run any businesses

who the fuck is that?
>>

fpbp
Kek I was on my way to post exactly this
>>
I think AEW is going to be more appealing for Mexicans because they can work CMLL or any Mexican indies CMLL has no beef with while in WWE you can only do AAA.

who said anything about a million dollars? all I'm saying is that the tko jews wanna strut around to shareholders with all these so called profits but then act like a poverty ass company during negotiation time if a talent wants a 3-5% salary increase
>>
>>18986363
This. He's eagerly trying to make it sound like some major tide shifting thing where big names are leaving. Meanwhile it's just Karrion Kross who grossly overestimated his value outside of WWE, Jazmyn Nyx who was a developmental NIL hire and never even cared about wrestling, and now Santos Escobar who's amounted to jack shit across his entire WWE run

Or they can do what they've always done, and tell these jobbers to fuck off on the indies and replace them with the 10 other guys they have in developmental.

That part.

so was he team cmll or team aaa
>>
>>18986482
He wrestled in both at different points in his career and was in Lucha Underground. Tony loves any Lucha Underground guys so that'll be points for him if he wants to go to AEW.
>>
AEW being so fucking shit these days probably contributes to WWE giving lower offers. They are not remotely worried about any of these guys going to the competition when Edge and Lashley are drawing half a school gymnasium and roughly the amount of households that fell asleep watching the Big Bang Theory.

Did they ever have this man wrestle any non Latino person on the main roster? Paul is so fucking ass man, take the book away from him

santos is a weird one to me
he was probably the mexican that spoke the best english on the entire WWE roster. that was his standout point. despite this, he was rarely given mic time and his only memorable promo to me was ES CO BAR SI when he was a filler feud in one of LA knight's US title runs (don't remember which one).
as a worker, he was fine. i don't remember any particularly good matches, or any particularly horrible ones. i never dreaded or looked forward to seeing a santos match on the card.
his look was fine. he is handsome but kinda short. i just checked and he's billed at 6'1 - that is the shortest 6'1 i've ever seen.
personally i thought he would fall into a sort of shinsuke type role where he's a backstage mentor for latino talent, and WWE keeping him on board shows them they can have jobs when they age out of the ring. but he wasn't released, he actively wanted to leave and declined to re-sign for a bigger offer.
i wonder if he's going to AEW or to mexico. tony would probably sign him but isn't his dad like the president of luche libre or some shit in mexico?
>>
>>18986658
The LWO vortex killed his career, they never let him wrestle anyone else but other mexicans in a never ending feud
>>
>>18986327
why doesn't he give out details or hints? WTF is the point of Sapp and Meltzer's reporting?
>>
>>18986187
Jobber to the "stars" on AEW weekly. Maybe a multi man match where he doesn't have to get pinned if he's lucky.
>>
I have a hunch he's gonna go to AEW and CMLL, do nothing in AEW but do well in CMLL
>>
Just another papa fumble
>>
>>18986675
Because they aren't journalists. They vaguely report "rumors" so when it comes out as bullshit they have an out by saying "It was just a rumor I never said it was true" or "plans change". These guys are hardly ever right about anything and never take any accountability when they falsely report shit but retards continue to give them money because they want to feel like insiders that can never get worked
>>
>>18986258
Well, they are midcard over but as Garzas last appearances in AAA were without Santos... I don't think he's included in Lego del Fantasma plans ... it's a stupid name anyway for a faction..

it's kinda sad, Santos ain't the worst guy, especially on the mic but at the same time its another mexican wearing a suit and dragging his old mask around, another mini-Andrade
>>
>>18986658
>he was probably the mexican that spoke the best english on the entire WWE roster.
i read that he actually has been taking english classes to learn how to speak better english
>>
I remember that amazing promo he cut on Rey and it looked they were about to push him but then nothing happend afterward
>>
aew = jumping beans
>>
>>18986974
let's be real., if you're hispanic and your last name isn't mysterio or a femoid that booker t can make grunting noises at, then the ceiling is very limited in wwe
>>

>>
>>18986589
It's how contracts work buddy.

>>18986671
I'd guess he's going to AAA where he'll be more of a draw
>>
>>18987076
WWE would just send him there internally, he wouldn't have to leave WWE to work AAA, and take a pay cut to do so
>>
Only thing i remember is this dude being Knight's punching bag. And having Elektra Lopez as a valot.
>>
>>18986218
Laredo Kids is a non story, he's signed full time with AAA, he's Cruiserweight Champion there
>>
>>18986187
probably muling drugs across the border in his keister. just a guess of course.
>>
>>18986187
More and more I'm convinced that lucha underground is the best booked show of the past 20 years
They managed to make everyone look good and feel like a big deal, absolute shitters like this dude, brian cage, richochet, even fucking angelico, and countless others all seemed dimes in LU It's really impressive when you think about it
excluding those who were already all and washed when they showed up almost everyone who was in lucha underground peaked there

imagine having this guy on your roster and just flat out saying "sorry man, just cant think of anything for ya", just like andrade blud saw the writing on the wall and knew all the beaners are gonna get siloed to aaa and having to take instructions from mark callaway on how to lucha lmao
>>
I have a hard time believing that
>Every Hispanic wrestler goes to AEW
Will have a different outcome than
>NXT black and gold goes to AEW
>>
>>18988123
They see a handful of luchadors doing well there. They think they can do the same. Only problem is 20 others have the exact same idea and now there's the partnership with CMLL and AEW. Congrats now you're a dime a dozen lucha guy in a faction of them just like you were in the LWO vortex in WWE
Then there's also the part where for Santos specifically he's not particularly interesting and has fuck all charisma. He's in for the same reality check Karrion Kross is discovering
>>
>>18986675
>WTF is the point of Sapp and Meltzer's reporting?
To make money
>>
>>18986187
CMLL
>>
>>18988123
I think most of them are hoping even if they don't do much in AEW they can still wrestle in CMLL on Tony's dime.
>>
>>18986416
>amounted to jack shit across his entire WWE run

That is the majority of WWE runs regardless of talent.
>>
>>18990733
Hardly
>>
>>18988123
I think AEW can just copy paste WWE's work and start a mexican heel faction with all the beans and have Santos as the leader, he is really good in the mic
>>
>>18988123
aew is perfect for these no personality spics all they do is flippy shit so they will fit right in
>>
>>18987174
AAA contracts have literally never meant less and they have been worthless for years.

>>18987298

>>
>People saying CMLL

you never know with them, they hold grudges
>>
King cuerno deserved better but he was booked in dimeless endless spic vs spic feuds
>>

>>18986374

>>
>>18990820

>>
>>18987298
>just like andrade blud saw the writing on the wall and knew all the beaners are gonna get siloed to aaa
"oh no the company is gonna utilize me and make work with making their newest asset acquirement viable - best start sulking and crying about it"
Can someone be this dumb? I want to believe it but I'll give both them the benefit of the doubt that there are other underlying issues than going to do trips at AAA and getting vastly more popular like El Grande, Dominik, ...

>and having to take instructions from mark callaway on how to lucha lmao
It is funny that they have to bring out a 60 year old man to tell them how to draw without doing a hundred flips and have a longer career.
>>
>>18991919
Jesus Christ quit dicksucking WWE it's fucking embarrassing

Sorry he's not a mark like you
>>
>>18986495
It's hilarious you think it matters to anyone except marks. They'll go where the money is.

>>18986491

How come he don't want my boys Son of Havoc & Famous B man?
>>

>>
>>18986218
>>18987174

AAA is owned by the WWE!!
>>
>>18986387
>This is why smarks don't run any businesses

Some elder millennial smark in North Florida claims he does even though it's still in the red after 6 years of operation.....
>>
Pendulumbros...Swing is in the air
>>
>>18991919
AAA is so shitty that those who have already worked there prefer to leave WWE than return to that stupid children's party of clowns without dignity.
>>
>>18986327
supposedly they offered Escobar a raise but had no creative plans for him. They were willing to resign but had nothing for him to do and he didn't want that. He is more concerned about the creative plans than money
>>
>>18994310
SAD
>>
>>18986414
>all I'm saying is that the tko jews wanna strut around to shareholders with all these so called profits
one of the main reasons this company is making so much actual profit is because they are NOT overpaying every dimeless shitter on the roster
