Why do some people still seriously give credit to VINNYRU for the success of the Attitude Era? The Montreal screwjob had wrestling in the national news, Vince McMahon played the perfect heel on top of that, and Austin and Rock were two of the most over wrestlers ever. Even then McMahon was constantly supervising Russo's booking so it wasn't even his "vision" 100%.
