Let me explain the way WrestleTix works.Without having the source code to any ticket broker sites, they created something to analyze the tickets that “disappear” from those sites. Not sold, just tickets that disappear from inventory on those sites and they assume distributed. Dave and the AEW lonely and odorous fan base use these numbers interchangeably with sold and quote them as gospel, but they are at best an educated guess. Even these numbers from the city don’t reflect “sold” as many of those could be giveaways.In summary, they probably sold 20k and got 22k in the building. Not exactly record breaking but a good day of business.
