In 2019, rather than start AEW, Tony Khan acquires New Japan. He leaves creative alone, and uses his wealth and connections to get New Japan a major US TV deal and retain stars looking for more money. Kenny never leaves new Japan, they probably get Moxley too. Danielson 100% makes the switch at one point, probably Punk too. Okada never leaves. Osprey never leaves. White never leaves. No backstage issues as leadership remains the same as it’s always been and NJPW is already an established company who know how to handle bad behaviour.

NJPW continues its upwards trajectory it was on in 2019 and goes even further once they have regular access to a western audience and a billionaire investing in his hobby.

Also covid never happens.

Would this have saved wrestling?

Too unrealistic

would never happen so this thread is useless

Ideally, CMLL should buy NJPW

The second most unbelievable thing in this post after NJPW being sold to a gaijin.

buys it in 2019 runs it into the ground in 2020

After watching Ren Narita wrestle for about 30 minutes, I'd be happier with this.

>would Tony Khan have saved wrestling if he just gave unlimited free money to my favorite dimeless promotion
Probably not
