>>19009288Assuming it's a mid shaft femur fracture he'll need a femoral nail, will take 6 weeks for callus to form around the fracture and then 6-9months to get back to intense physical activity, but in the short term should make a recovery. If it's more extensive (multi part fracture) then it's worse, if it's a femoral shaft and neck fracture then he's pretty fucked in the long term.t. orthopaedic surgeon
