The booking has not gotten better at all and neither have the ratings. The only reason guys like Darby and Mjf are happy is because they get more the time in the uppe card and higher ppv payouts. No more sharing with the stars that exposed them as carry jobs. The show has been suffering but the inmates are happy since they're not under the bigger names anymore. I doubt I'm going to get an answer to this but I'm going to shoot my shot anyways: Did Aleister Black have a reputation like this before going to AEW or even the WWE? I've never read anything that suggested this guy was the European equivalent of an Austin Aries or Low-Ki that absolutely despised doing jobs but Euro indy knowledge is admittedly scarce. And the only thing I've ever seen specifically referenced to his time in AEW is that he refused to do a job to Brock Anderson, which he is absolutely in the right to have done because Brock was a nepo-turboshitter of the highest order.I'm not surprised Miro was an asshole because he spent pretty much his entire career in the WWE system before this and it makes that he acted like basically anyone that got canned and went to TNA 15-20 years ago and refused to do jobs (though I will say refusing to do a job in a Battle Royale to Hangman might be the biggest self mark I've ever heard).

The punk rock rebel paving his own way. Darby was supposed to get the rub and Punk would have been protected because of muh ring rust. Then Punk would have got his groove back against Kingston, MJF, and others on his way to the title scene the following year.
