This is the destination for all based webms, brotherOn tonight's docket: NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling, NOAH Wrestle Odyssey, GLEAT Ver. EX and more!
I'm starting with the KOPW road-to show!
GO GO GO
>>19075324Sold that uppercut really well!
Npt much of a sell needed for this one.>>19075414Yeah, I agree. I really like when people stumble after a strike instead of doing a perfect flatback.
There's something so fucking funny about Yuya having to fight the BROTHERS while tagging with professional dead weight and career jobber Honma, all because Umino wanted to kill a Young Lion in the undercard.
Is it weird I'm excited to see Go in AJPW? I think he'll have more use there than NOAH at this point plus Go is the only person who knows how to keep Nakajima in line if AJPW decides to give Nakajima another shot.
>>19075643they need to put honma out to pasture. watching him wrestle this tour just gives me anxiety about his health. he seemed healthier a little while back, too
>>19075674>Is it weird I'm excited to see Go in AJPW?Absolutely not. I think the decision to have him out of the N-1 (assuming that decision was made before he decided to leave) is pretty telling for how NOAH views him, and him getting put directly into a title feud is promising. I don't know if I think he's a good fit for HAVOC, but I've only seen one match of it so far and I understand that him coming in as a heel is important for the feud.>Go is the only person who knows how to keep Nakajima in line if AJPW decides to give Nakajima another shot.I'm not gonna get my hopes up for that, but with how Nakajima's been faring in GLEAT it doesn't sound like a bad idea. I'm worried Lil Finner has burnt too many bridges at this point, though.>>19075684Honma's young for a grandpa, all things considered, and the crowds still love him. What I don't really get is the AMOUNT of usage he gets, especially in relatively upper-card matches. He did TAG LEAGUE last year, which is insane.
This rocks. So fast.
What did he mean by this? What do I even call it?
These are stiff as FUCK.
BONK
This was a good match, from what little I've seen of current joshi it seems like a pretty much ideal matchup for my enjoyment.
Titan with the slow motion fighting game KO sell.
How the FUCK did he do this?
HUGE
It's awesome to see Wolf in the ring, and the reactions are great, but I can't help but feel that this buries Boltin a little bit. "You couldn't take out these guys, but here's a guy with your same build and style who can!" I don't really get why Boltin couldn't win the match, get beat down after and have Wolf break the brawl up and challenge EVIL then. Doesn't feel like his debut needs a belt on the line.
I like this German even more than the one from the singles match.
Yuto is so much fun as both the bully and the guy getting his comeuppance. This is a great spot.
>>19075126This is a webm where a soundpost version would be warranted, absolute firecracker sound
>>19077816Yeah, it's crazy loud. I might try to make one just to post it actually, good shout.
Oskar is gonna fucking explode his knees if he keeps doing this, but for now it's kino.>>19077816Here you go! Two versions with sound.>>>/wsg/6002338>>>/wsg/6002339
>>19078004Oh wow dual language, thanks. I'd say the JP captures it a bit better
>>19078042Yeah, part of why I wouldn't want to do sound webms even if they were allowed on this board is because the timing for webms would be so much harder, as well as the language differences.
That smug fucking smile after cracks me up. Possibly the stupidest unique move I've ever seen.
>>19075126Haha after two weekends away it's finally time again for the best thread of the week
Based as fuck finish.>>19078427Happy to have you here again, bumpchad. I hope you've been well!
>>19078465whole ending felt weird in the moment, like it was more than just a finish to their rivalry but a goodbye
I really hope this post-match leads to new opponents for Tsuji, I was getting pretty tired of the Kidd and Finlay rematches. I'm even more relieved that this wasn't setup for a cage match for next year, I really hope those don't become a yearly tradition.>>19078528Now that you say it, I can see it. I think the crab, being the quintessential move of the Noge Dojo, was a perfect finish for what at least started out as a traitor storyline. I wish they'd have pushed that angle harder because I think a lot of people felt that way towards the end.
God damn that kick is a close call.
This rocks.
Zack should play the bully more. It's his best role, easily.
Next up is (as much as I have time for!) of GLEAT's Ver. EX show!
>>19079221This Saihara looks cute
"Michiko commits suicide by Violent Giants" is my favorite intergender feud of the year.>>19079274I like her gear too. Unfortunately GLEAT has a bad habit of throwing these Actwres girls into UWF matches and none of them seem very comfortable with the UWF format.
>>19078686Just a few centimeters!>>19078465Been out on vacation but glad to be back. Lots of wrestling to catch up to.
Miyake's back with his fourth ever match, over a year since his last one. This one is structured far more like a normal Young Lion match, nowhere near the weird avant-garde shit that was going on in his first matches. I kinda like it less for that, but it also seems less like straight up hazing which is nice. Makes me wonder if his hiatus was him actually training because he can actually run the ropes this time.>>19079376Hell yeah, happy to hear!
This was such a good based retard match. Just a sub-10 minute brawl where most of what T-Hawk does is throw chops.
That's all for today! Tomorrow you'll get the two final matches from this GLEAT show, as well as NOAH Wrestle Odyssey, AJPW's recent tour and even more! Thank you all for hanging out tonight. I'm handing the thread over to the Eurobros now, and I'll see you all tomorrow. Goodnight, bros.
>>19080378thanks as always webmCHAD
*sip*
>>19080378Goodnight based webmbro>>19082034Delightfully devilishii
>>19075126Webm chad, can I request MS-1 vs Sangre Chicana, 1983
>>19076228They're pretty good hard hitters, but there's a lot of good stuff that goes on in Stardom these days, at least at the top of the card.
>>19083977if you're gonna post Saya post the good shit man
I'm back! Thank you all for keeping us bumped! I'm back with the semi-main and main of the GLEAT show!>>19083305Absolutely! I can't promise to have time for it tonight, but I'll get it done for you.>>19083977I'm sure it's good stuff, that webm is nice. I don't think I'd have time even if I wanted to, if I had time for another company I'd be watching BJW.
Cinema
Can you do the finish of this match? Superkick to the back, followed by a Superkick to the chin and the pin?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkzmyx3trWY
You're laughing. Brass Knuckles JUN just died and you're laughing.>>19084580I can, but it'll be a bit. Thanks for the request!
>>19084402Everyone starts out a little green, she gets better with every year like most wrestlers do.
>>19084601God, bumps across the apron like that so hard to watch.
This sell worried me a little bit, it's one of those that looks really impactful but then it goes on that little bit too long and you start feeling like something's wrong.
With the saito and then this, I wouldn't be surprised if Nakajima was rocked for real.
So, so good.
God DAMN Lindaman is strong.
While I am really happy Lindaman's champ again, this match felt really bittersweet. Sure, Lindaman won, but for a dream match between two wrestlers who were both in my active top five just two years ago it really underdelivered, and then the post-match angle with CIMA was just insult to injury. I'm hopeful for both the Lindaman reign and the SUWAMA vs. Nakajima feud coming off this, maybe they can bring me back around.
>>19085662Lindaman after the show was at the exit with the belt and still in his gear, saying good night to fans. Really does seem like a very based guy all around;.
Next up is NOAH Wrestle Odyssey!>>19085827That's adorable. Yeah, I love him. Easily one of the most underrated guys in Japan right now.
Zased
I'll always pop for a good deadlift.
Beautiful. The Regalplex is easily one of my favorite finishers ever.
Such a weird suplex.
He's a GOOD CHRISTIAN BOY and he's DONE BREAKING THE RULES!
TAKEOFF
So slick.
I feel like I said my mark level for Odashima would skyrocket the day he pulls off the German, and here we are.
Brutal. I thought for sure this was it.
>>19086988HE FUCKING DID IT BROS! OUR FUCKING GUY IS A CHAMP
Why did he do this?
>>19084671It was a career-vs-career match and the gal who did the spot lost, she probably went into it knowing she'd have plenty of time to rest it off. She's the one Taichi was lovelorn for a couple years back.
I love this perpetually seething nigga so much bros>>19087510I knew the girls but not the story. Wild bump to take no matter the rest though. I feel like it's a very relatable kind of pain. I can't imagine landing on my neck but everyone knows what it's like to hit your back on an angle.
>>19087580Am the person you responded to - Kenoh is shoot my favorite guy in the game right now and has been for a few years. But yeah, painful looking bump. Tam was a real pro though - near the end of the match they went for some *solid* open hand slaps that made me wince even harder than that spot.(30:45 in)https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x9kpe0sIt's an emotional spot because, while Saya had been terrorizing Tam, Tam was her mentor when she first started out and they had a lot of close ties and history together.
God DAMN.>>19087675Damn, not bad. There's some nasty slaps coming up in a future match that I might have time for tonight. Though the melodrama in that spot is one of the things turning me off from modern joshi stuff.>Kenoh is shoot my favorite guy in the game right now and has been for a few years.I've never been quite as hot on him as most people seem to be but I can't deny that he's charismatic as fuck.
>>19087772>I've never been quite as hot on him as most people seem to be but I can't deny that he's charismatic as fuck.I guess I'm old, I'm cranky, and I can appreciate a guy who's in a somewhat similar place (I'm a few years older than he is) who just wants to kick the crap out of the world.
>>19087834>I guess I'm old, I'm cranky, and I can appreciate a guy who's in a somewhat similar place (I'm a few years older than he is) who just wants to kick the crap out of the world.webmrelDon't get me wrong, I think his character work is great. I just don't love his in-ring style.
I don't speak Japanese but I think I get what's being said here.
This one looks like it hurts.
Jesus H. Christ.
I can't be the only one who sees the Chono, right? Especially with the shades.
>>19084545>19084545this guy owns the delinquent gimmick like no other
HA HA HA!>>19089236He's my favorite jobber (and tag champion). The gimmick change was such an improvement for him.
>>19083977>>19084402Interesting that Saya should get posted because I'm just checking her out. Any recommended matches?>>19088917Ouch>>19087580Based /KINO/H
You're not gonna scroll on by without sayin' howdy now are ya, partner?
THIS close to corpsing.
I genuinely popped out of my seat when he returned. The random English is endearing and hilarious. I'm so fucking happy to have him back and I cannot wait for him to become champ.
Next up is the first two matches from AJPW's Raising An Army Memorial Series! This is the match Go debuted in but he barely gets to do anything before Kento gets himself DQ'd!>>19075674Might be something you like here.
HAVOC grew on me a little after showing they could (somewhat) hang in a title match without Suzuki as an opponent. They seem genuinely excited to be in Japan which is cute.
This match fucking rocked. Just a shame about the hardcam.
Nomura's quickly becoming one of my favorites in AJPW.
God DAMN.
>>19089319HOWDY PARTNER!>>19089403>inamura flexes on kenta.webmkek
>>19084490Thanks, I'll wait for it. Should've specified, the one at CMLL's 50th anniversary show
I'll get the requests out here so they're in the same thread before I start the new one.>>19084580Here you go!>>19090272It's coming up! Half of it in this thread and half in the next.
>>19090272Here it is! I love how the ring announcer just gives up a minute or so into this brawl and just rings the bell even though neither man is in the ring.
>>19090341Man, old school lucha is very punch kick
INSANE pop for this comeback.>>19090353Oh yeah, this match is literally just old school punches, like a handful of dives and a suplex. Real basics stuff.
NEW: >>19090391NEW: >>19090391NEW: >>19090391
>>19090274thanks
what if I were to bump the webm thread even though it's at the image limit tho
>>19090937I dont know, what if you did?
