Another prop belt?
>>
>>19214378
Wasn't that the point of the international title? Name makes more sense for that as well.
>>
>>19214378
I'm starting to think Tony doesn't know what the fuck he's doing.
>>
>>19214392
he can't book and thinks multiple titles = ratings

Uhhhhh…. Is Tony ok?
>>
>defended across other promotions
I'll believe it when I see it. AEW breeds laziness. And when guys actually do indies Tony demands he books their segments. Just a hassle no one needs.

He’s tried this multiple times and often times the other promotions don’t give a fuck to work with Tony like that. This won’t create buzz at all.

I think he made this title because someone is getting pissy backstage and needs a title
>>
>>19214378
Too many titles is legitimately one of the worst problems in AEW. I thought they were coming around to how much it devalues their belts when you have 1,000 of them on the show across both companies of AEW & ROH while also having things like Moxley defending the IWGP title but I guess Tony couldn’t help himself
>>
>>19214624
It's frustrating because if you complain about this, you'll just have someone saying "BUT THE FED"
Man, I hate WWE. AEW doing what they do isn't a selling point.

Reminder that the international and continental weren't even unified despite what the name of the championship he won would make you think. Okada just has three belts.
>>

What do you call a guy who holds three midcard belts?
A midcarder.

It's a disingenuous argument anyway, yes WWE has a metric shit ton of active belts, however when 3 of those belts serve the same purpose across their three shows with minimal overlap (Men's & Women's main, Men's and Women's midcard, Tag team, etc) it doesn't seem that big of an issue as it is with AEW where all these belts seemingly exist in some constantly changing order where the only consistent truth is the Men's and Women's world championships are the main belts, but even that was questions with the Unified Championship with people saying it was going to be treated on the same level as the world championship, but if you look at the Don Callis Family, they're clearly treating Fletcher with the TNT championship as the more important person with the more important belt.

oh so WWE added a bunch of pointless titles and then so did New Japan and because Tony's a NJPW mark he did the same thing.

What he should have done is add a "G1/Champions League" type of round robin in order to sell house show tickets but he was too stupid
>>

more titles more money

Has AEW surpassed WWE in titles
>>

no, AEW has 9 titles. WWE has 23

No. CMLL still the king of belts collecting
>>
So what's the point of Okada's belts? I thought the point to his belts was that they were supposed to be the titles that could potentially end up in NJPW or CMLL?
>>
>>19214932
Love how you took into account NXT and WWE development titles when you came up with that number while disregarding ROH alongside the tag and trios titles.
Intellectual honesty at its finest.

The wild part that everyone's ignoring is Tony's claiming the lineage of the NWA National Heavyweight Championship, which is STILL ACTIVE in NWA. It was unified with the NWA United States Championship in the '80s, but was reactivated in the '90s and has been defended on the indies for nearly 30 years since. If the belt looks remotely like the NWA National Championship, Billy Corgan should sue.
>>
>>19214972
there's only one set of trios/tag champions so it's useless to count more than that
if you factor in ROH then you have to factor in AAA and arguably TNA for WWE as well
and why are you even getting mad about this in the first place, it makes sense for WWE to have more titles, very few of the titles in WWE are redundant
>>

>there's only one set of trios/tag champions so it's useless to count more than that

The amount of mental gymnastics you freaks do to defend AEW is bizarre.
>>
>>19214736
so many belts but so few draws
>>
>>19214999
It was my bad on the AEW belts, I misread the Cagematch page for all the belts (even though it will be 11 with the Women's Tag and the new National Title). But ROH is the AEW equivalent of NXT, and you *did* include the WWE ID titles in that "23".
I'm not mad at all, I don't watch either slop company - I just like honesty in the arguments I see. :)

What was even the point of retiring the All-Atlantic/International title? Holy fuck Tony is retarted
>>
>>19215093
Ah, so you really are just a disingenuous little faggot, same as I thought.
Thank you for making my point.
>>
>>19214999
NTA but while I can see the point of taking AAA in to consideration for WWE if you take in to consideration ROH for AEW, since they're both subsidiaries of the primary company.
However AAA rarely if ever have had their belts defended, and more importantly won on WWE/NXT programming - IIRC (and I really haven't been paying that much attention, I can very likely be wrong on this) this upcoming mixed tag match at NXT Gold Rush is the first time a AAA belt has been defended at an explicitly non AAA co-branded PPV event.

AEW on the other hand, for every single ROH belt either the current champion/s, or the champions before them, won the belts on AEW television/PPV
>>
>>19215139
Don't bother, AEWtists are incapable of being honest.
>>
>>19215170
Yeah, I see that now. I tried to be nice about it but the little lying faggot was so upset about being called out that he just shot back with seethe.
>>

i was the original poster you responded to, i didn't call you gay that was someone else
>>
>>19215181
Alright, I believe you and you have my apologies.
Thank you for straightening that out. Guess we all make honest mistakes.
>>
>>19215170
This. It's actually astounding how far they will go to double down on defending All Petite
>>
>>19214378
Listening to Tony do commentary from the 80 is so sad cause he used to really love this shit and now hes like "wow this is great" when some fag pulls gummy bears out of a tack bag.
>>
>>19215170
Yeah I knew it was bad but the threads these past couple days since another record low for Dynashite has truly exposed just how fucked in the head they are. They're beyond help
>>
I checked multiple places because I was convinced this was a shitpost. All you can do is laugh.

It's the exact same thing the All Atlantic title was. They barely ever followed the original concept.
>>
>>19215857
> all Atlantic title
Tony supposedly was butthurt that everyone hated the idea and laughed at the title . The title had the Japanese and Australian flags on it . Then he changed it to international kek

If Dave likes this title he will keep, if Dave hates it he’s going to get rid of it
>>
>>19215204
No
>>
>>19215876
If the belt flops he'll toss it on Okada and call Okada a Triple Crown champion
>>
>>19214736
>national
>international
>continental
Gotta be fucking kidding me.
>>
>>19215160
>both subsidiaries of the primary company
Technically, AAA is a subsidiarity. ROH and AEW are separate companies, since Tony owns the former and Shad owns the latter (not that it matters much all things considered). Not sure if WWE considers Evolve its own company (does Gabe even run it?)
>>
>>19215948
*subsidiary I meant good morning bobs and vagene
>>
>>19214587
They don't care because the TNA feud showed that AEW will go over constantly and will weasel out of returning the favor. They only go along with Moneigh because they're worried about being called sexist and/or racist.
>>
>national title
>will be defended internationally
he's a fucking idiot
>>
>>19214378
Who do you even put it on?
>Wheeler, Garcia, Jungle Boy, Guevara
title has instantly no value
>Cope, Christian, Lashley, MJF, Swerve
wrestler instantly gets demoted just like Okada

I think i figured it out. Tony is a retard but even the wildest of extreme warfare players wouldn’t flood their feds with so many useless belts. I think so many guys have ‘90+ day singles title reign’ guaranteed in their contracts that he has to keep introducing new belts to fulfill this obligation. It’s the only thing that makes any sense. That or he just loves designing belts and wants to see them made and used.
