Any reason why she's been memoryholed by WWE for the past 25 years and she didn't get inducted in the HoF with the rest of D-X?
>>
Please name a memorable Tori moment from when she was in DX.
>>
>>19224386
Cucking Kane? Does that count?
>>
>>19224390
I thought she cucked Kane and THEN joined DX though
>>
>>19224391
I'd consider that the moment she joined, which technically counts. But regardless, that's literally the only thing I can ever remember her doing other than being more dimeless than X-Pac.
>>
>>19224395
Yeah, actually, I’d count that as joining too, my bad kek
>>
>>19224376
Hard one to answer
Tori kinda flew under the history radar for some reason
People don't know she used to be Terri Power in the indies and was one of the only women heavily booked to win titles back then
They coulda done more with her now that I think about it but the era was not fully taking women's wrestling seriously yet with all the pudding and mud wrestling skits
>>
>>19224386
dont recall but was the sable feud before or after it

>more dimeless than X-Pac
This is how I know you weren't actually watching the MNW from the start. Maybe you started in 2000? 2001? Anyway, X-Pac was over when he first returned to WWF in 1998 and through 1999 too. And in fact, when Triple H first reformed DX, HHH was actually the least over of the group. The New Age Outlaws were incredibly hot at the time and so was X-Pac. X-Pac was arguably a top 5 face in the company. Triple H was still seen as Shawn Michael's big-nosed buddy who used to larp as an aristocrat and get covered in pig slop.

>inb4 muh X-Pac heat
And this meme was created by Dave Meltzer. He made up the term "go away heat" and then made the claim (still uncorroborated to this day) that people within the industry were calling it “X-Pac heat” when in reality, there is no such concept in the wrestling business. And lots of wrestlers have made the same point, including Randy Orton, that "go away heat" isn't even a thing. Heat is heat.

Kat vs Tori chocolate pudding match. wasn't she the mysterious girl with the biker helmet that interfered in some matches, but the storyline was dropped for some reason?
>>
>>19224446
Yes she was. She debuted as a super-fan obsessed with Sable and that wanted to replace her. Not a bad angle. She's best known as Kane's girlfriend and then for cucking Kane with X-Pac though. I honestly think Tori was more hated by fans than X-Pac over that angle. And I think it's why her push petered out. She started 2000 with the white hot angle where she sided with X-Pac and betrayed Kane, but she was gone from the company before year's end.

She was a cunt, that’s why

>And lots of wrestlers have made the same point, including Randy Orton, that "go away heat" isn't even a thing. Heat is heat.

No surprise a boring shitter like Randy would come up with that cope. There's a difference between 'booo' I hate this guy, and 'booo this guy sucks please fuck off'

smark headcannon is real life, unc

>heat is heat
The heat that the Donald Trump versus Rosie O’Donnell match wasn’t go away heat when they changed TNA TNA TNA TNA TNA it was just normal heat
>>
What's up with Xpac stans? They seem utterly deranged.

We actually watched wrestling back in the 90s, so we saw Sean Waltman's rise as 1-2-3 Kid, his evolution into a heel, his gimmick rebirth as the sleazy Syxx playing a key role in the early nWo era, and his triumphant WWF return as X-Pac. X-Pac was over for most of his career. Around 2001 he had lost a lot of his luster, formed the cringe X-Factor that came across like a Temu DX, and he lost a ton of his heat. He actually seemed like he might regain it and have another decent run when he briefly joined the reformed nWo, but that fizzled quickly due to injuries and Waltman's addiction issues.

>>19224691
There isn't. Once again, Dave Meltzer invented to concept. Any reaction is a good reaction btw. ANY reaction. What you don't want is for fans to sit on their hands and not react or pay attention at all.
>>
>>19224376
She’s associated with the worst era of DX outside of the glow stick reunion. DX with Shawn was cool and DX with Hunter was cool until SummerSlam 98, everything after was fucking garbage and fucked Kane’s character beyond repair.
>>
>>19224386
Getting tombstoned by Kane.
>>
>>19224818
>DX with Hunter was cool

But not because of Hunter. The New Age Outlaws and X-Pac were more over than HHH.
>>
>>19224376
I think she doesn't want anything to do with wrestling. Not in a bad way but I don't think I've heard anything negative about her in shoots.

She never even intended to go back to wrestling after her stint in Japan. I think WWE specifically scouted her for her power lifting looks.

She was always more into her yoga apparently. Like even as a wrestler she was supposedly more focused on her yoga (albeit still professional in working) so I think that's why she left to start up her own yoga studio

>>19224386
From DX onwards? Her finisher Tori-plex looked fucking risky as fuck:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d28XpMasA7o

Specifically? Raven's ninja?
DX in general sidelined her into just being 'the manager that can kinda get involved somtimes'
But by the time she was done with Kane, I'm pretty sure she was on her way out since she left early 2001 and that was around Feburary (NWO 2000) that she started teaming with DX as a sort of 'chyna lite'
>>
>>19224434
The only time he really got "X-Pac heat" was in 2001 when he was a fucking heel. Even during the Invasion he was still a heel except for the couple of weeks they pushed him as kind of a tweener... and he still got pops in his matches. X-Pac heat is because smarks disliked him, not the general crowd. Go away heat does exist but it's mostly when a guy is overpushed and the crowd is absolutely sick of it. Big Dog Roman is the most objective example of that. Otherwise, the only real one of these smark concepts that actually, truly, does exist is the dreaded Conway pop.
>>
I had the biggest crush ob her back then
>>
>>19224908
This is obvious to anyone who watched at the time, Road Dogg was the most over guy in DX after Shawn left, Cunter has and always will be a glorified midcarder.
>>
>>19225042
Yep. But the WWE has pushed revisionist history for decades that glorifies Gaytch. Hell, even Chyna was more over than him when they were paired together. That must have really ground his gears.
>>
Big bush, apparently
>>
xpac got stale, the bronco buster was lame at best and gay at worst, and by the time of x factor everyone was so tired of his shtick that it became this sort of aggressive apathy, a discontentment with how one note he had become while still continuing to get decent tv time including leading a stable of fucking geeks with a fucking uncle kracker theme song
>>
>>19224932
Yoga fixes your mind AND body. Tori was never a MARK for the biz
>>
>>19225160
Lies. White women are far worse now with yoga than before with out it

No, that was Lillian Garcia.

Lmao remember when she was Ravens ninja for some reason
>>
>>19224434
Nah we were a WCW houshold for the most part and I kept up with WWF on Saturday morning when they had that recap show. X-Pac always sucked tho.
>>
>>19224386
X-Pac said she had a big hairy bush
>>
>>19224461
1999 is kind of weird in that yeah, Austin and Rock and Mankind are pretty much the most over guys but then right up there with them you have Kane, the Outlaws, X-Pac and Test.
>>
>>19227615
I thought he said that about Gillian Garcia
>>
>>19227615
Wrong
>>19227774
This anon is right, it was about Lilian
>>
>>19227902
>Gillian
Fuck I'm an idiot.
>>
>>19224434
The chance of people liking X-pac died with him turning on Kane. People LOVED that duo but particularly in how it humanized Kane (who people wanted a reason to cheer which they were doing anyway) and they could've ridden it for awhile, but that hotshot booking rears its ugly head.
>>
>>19224376
She was never a women's champion and didn't really have an impact, her biggest storyline was being Kane's whoer girlfriend so she's sort of a one hit wonder.

Ashley Massaro is in the same category, known for one thing (divas search) and was never champion, hard to justify even bringing them up.

There's heat that makes you pay to see him get beat and there's heat that makes you change the channel. Stating anything else is delusional or a blatant lie.
>>
>>19228269
This. It's just like Jake the Snake. Why bring that drug addict up? He never accomplished anything in the WWF
>>
>>19228442
Jake had a lot of memorable feuds, promos, and matches you sarcastic nigger.
>>
I don't even remember this happening
she would have tainted the HOF if she were inducted
>>
Jesus Christ what are you dude 45? Grown ass man typing, attaching an image and posting this holy fuck get a job, Mark.
