this Mistico guy is supposedly a draw, fucking MLW doesn't have a crowd on 3/4 sides.
bait, but he is selling out arenas in Mexico like every week
>>19317555How are the ticket prices?
>>19317567doesn't matter
>>19317555they sell out whether he’s there or not. AAA sells out in Mexico too but no one would call mr. Iguana a draw.
>>19317569Well if you're gonna argue that he's draw then they absolutely do.
>>19317578I know you're a consolewarfag that hates gayew, but coming from someone who watches raw and smackdown every week and had never watched trannymite, I'll say mistico is the biggest draw in Mexico, he's the biggest star in the beaner side of the industry and he does draw at cmll's circus showsI wouldn't have him back in wwe though
>>19317589He's a draw but due to ticket prices I would probably say Dom Mysterio would be a bigger draw right now.
The only current and probably the last real star in wrestling, and people here still arguing about draws and shit
>>19317613are we not looking at the same picture with literally ZERO fans around the ring?
>>19317623imbecile
>>19317631nobody has any actual defense of this guy, if you ask the ticket prices they talk down to you, if you ask why he can't draw shit to the other companies he's in they name call. They fact nobody will defend him and they have no actual defense shows it's fake.
>>19317551those bean niggers are tiny
>>19317623watch the show before you jump to conclusions, that show had a fairly big crowd but they were all on one side.
>>19317644that's not possible, no actually big crowd is structured like that, sorry. MLW drew like shit.
>>19317636It's just some console war talking point as if CMLL success somehow means AEW success or that WWE and or AAA is losing. Don't waste time arguing with them, just post the truth of the matter for any fellow heterosexuals that may actually want to know what it is going on, then move on before the spammers waste your time with their nonsense.
>>19317693again, watch the show. they had a decent crowd. not huge, but not grim by far.
>>19317741It was decent for what it is, but like 200-250 people and Riddle Kross was the draw. As for Mistico, he comes out to zero pop and then when they say it's Mistico some people cheer and clap and do a half-assed chant they give up on after 10 seconds. It seems like the types that heard about him from Meltzer and Twitter and claim they are fans. Clash of styles also doesn't help in MLW, when he wrestled the dude from NXT who got rich off Gamestop stock, that dude clearly outwrestled him.On a sidenote, Brock Anderson is looks maxxing and has improved a lot.
>>19317760how bad was the kross match?
>>19317760I'm also a brock fan, but as for mistico I think his drawing power is mainly in mexico. the mexicans absolutely love him, but he is less well known to american fans. lucha guys in general are less well known here, even the best ones.
>>19317786They mark out for every shitter
>>19317775It was actually way better than you would expect in terms of the working, and the MMA added in was nice without being really cheesy or fake, but their transitions between shit were a little slow so you can tell this is the first time they are trying the shit in a match, but the real issue was the pacing of the match was dogshit and the finish was out of nowhere and not in a good way. If they had a good agent, then it could have actually been a hype match if they gave it a proper flow and it built to a crescendo. Also hurt by terrible production where they almost always cut to the worst angle possible that shows how a punch or kick is worked. During Kross's entrance they also zoomed in on the ring announcer and ref just standing there waiting for like 20 seconds.>>19317786It feels kinda forced because he is just put on the show and they tell us he's a legend then he wins. Give him a story or something, at least the Kross match had a cool storyline and they laid out the stakes and motivations etc.
>>19317850yeah i agree they should give him some kind of storyline, would definitely help get him over outside the lucha bubble. of course, most of the american wrestlers don't get good storylines these days either.
>>19317572I would
>>19317551He also wrestled in the empty parking lot at a broncos game.
>>19318199my uncle did something like that and got a lifetime ban from all eagles games
>>19317608No one's ever used ticket prices as a factor for determining a draw. Otherwise Damian Priest is a bigger draw than Mankind, Stone Cold and the Rock
>>19318262kek popped me
>>19317551He's a draw in Mexico where he works primarily, not in fucking Charleston, South Carolina
>>19318280>No one has ever used DRAWING A DIME for determining a drawBro hang it up
>>19319427>DRAWING A DIMEselling tickets and/or full houses, not selling the most expensive ticketsSee >Thanks for the houseYou don't have to get upset though, gayew still loses when it comes to selling tickets
Also MLW without CMLL is basically nothing.God Bless them, but their roster is D tier talent and some cancelled wrestlers.
notice how aewtists do not care about this guy anymore since he didnt sign the money mark dual contract
He’s a big draw in Mexico. He’s not a draw anywhere else. Same for Tanahashi in Japan
>>19319427>Bro ...................oh so you're an indian
>>193175676 dollar the cheapest, 60 dollar the most expensive on regular fridays. For special events, the most expensive tickets can range from 150 dollar to 300 dollar.Keep in mind that in Mexico, money isn't printed at will to pretend to be richer than it actually is and to defraud the rest of the world with virtual wealth that allows the average american to depend on buying underwear on credit. It's a different economy, but the prices are affordable for everyone, and the live shows are attended by poor people, middle-class people, and wealthy people alike.Their YouTube membership costs $35, almost double the price of a NEETflix subscription. This means you can watch WWE for free if you have NEEtflix, but you need to pay double that subscription just to watch the best wrestling in the world, which features six shows a week. Approximately 45,000 tickets are sold weekly.Considering it's a company with almost 100 years of history and five of its own arenas, along with their respective schools and gyms, I'd say it's a very profitable and successful business. They even indulge in the luxury of not being interested in international expansion or selling outside of Mexico.
>>19319548Why do redneck hick indie shows in America have $5 tickets yet only get 14 people in attendance?
>>19319568That's a very good question...
>>19319473It's hard to be the #4 or #5 promotion, anon. WWE and AEW have a lot more money and you can watch them on TV/VOD everyday for the most part. Any stars they make will get taken and there's only so much starpower at the level.
>>19319568Because they'd have 5 in attendance if they charged higher prices.
>>19319568well they're in the middle of buttfuck nowhere and not downtown in the biggest city on the continent, that's a start
>>19319654Kek
>>19317786that's not true because Rey Mysterio is super well known here and he's the greatest luchador of all time, who gives a shit if people know the other losers.
>>19317551is a draw in meltzer's mind
>>19320281He is our shepherd
>>19319473Many are saying this
>>19320259You mean El Santo
>>19317608if ticket prices matter then ari emmanuel is the draw and none of the wrestlers
>>19319649what is the actual ranking of north american feds outside of the 3 majors? they're all basically interchangeable to me but maybe they shouldn't be4th is probably GCW, then MLW i guess? but then you got NWA, DPW (not for long), MLPW, HOG, beyond, JCW, WCPW...
>>19324582No, I meant Rey Mysterio. That's why I said Rey Mysterio. I wouldn't have said Rey Mysterio if I didn't mean Rey Mysterio. So, obviously, I said Rey Mysterio.
>>19317567Famously high-priced ticket MLW
>>19324752you can't read.
>>19317551Very grim
>>19319548BASED
>>19320259rey mysterio is more well known to american audiences because he's a rare example of a luchador who made his name outside of mexico. he killed a guy in the ring down there, so he ended up in ECW and later WCW before finally slumming it in the shitshow that is current WWE. now he's the last real star they have lol.
>>19324650GCW is absolutely not fourth, take a look at their shows before you believe their hype.
>>19319683Pablo Taco had no response for this
>>19319568Mexico has asia tier population density in it's major cities and it would be impossible to make money running a similarly priced show in a US city that comes anywhere near those demographics.
>>19326580
>>19326207what is then
>>19325416X2
>>19317551>fucking MLW doesn't have a crowd on 3/4 sidesNeither does AEW.
>>19317551LOL
>>19317551Pretty grim
>>19324650Assuming roh doesn't count since its just AEWs evolve,Progress + DEFYMLWGCW Then the rest on down. Those three are constantly scouted by tk or wwe. After that, JCWNWAsince they occasionally pop a blip. After that, its the ones you named.
>>19319568The territories died out by Vinny Faggot JR
>>19317551He’s a draw in only Mexico.Muttmerica is retarded as fuck.Indies are literally the successor to the territories.Vince JR is a evil neoliberal/lolbert faggot compared to SE
>>19334036that shit would've died anyways, whoever went national first would've killed the rest
I meant VINCE SR who literally respected the Territories!
>>19334043Ah yes and now we have a monopoly of one wrestling company and another faggot gayew that destroyed everything Maybe if Reagan Faggot Ass had enforced an agreement on no monopolizing on territories then maybe wrestling would be different
I mean look how many companies were there before faggot vinny jr gobbled it all up like the faggot greedy neoliberal he is
