it's a good thing Sami Zayn lost the WWE US Championship Belt.I like Dragunov, but i can see why some people are upset over a guy being gone for 1-2 years due to injury and suddenly pop up to win the US Belt.Meanwhile, you got guys like Carmelo Hayes who have been putting in the work all day, every day, and Melo can't catch a break, so i get it.
Ok
I think it's a travesty that these certain talents can't catch a break, but some other certain people can pop up and win titles.I don't like that too much, but i do like Dragunov as a talent. I see something in Dragunov.
after Dragunov moved to SmackDown and won the US Championship Belt from Samiit seemed like Dragunov appeared to bury a bunch of other SD talentbecause what about everybody else that have been putting in the workyet Dragunov can just pop up and win a title after being injured for 2 years?
I do see star potential in Ilja Dragunov, but i can also understand why people are upset.
Dragunov seems like he got the potential to be a consistent midcard Fighting Champion type worker that may work his way to the top
the dude is going to be injured again within 2 months with the way he wrestles
>>19325539That's who the IC/US belts are for, the work horses who probably will not ever get a big belt run. You get it on the way up for a hot minute or as a your big prize. Ilja is not getting any higher up the card, he is just getting it now because he'll be gone in 3 years, hopefully Hayes has a story to getting a belt before the same fate awaits him. That's why Montez stays in the tag division, longevity.
