>>19390538based, finally a good general. WOOP WOOP!
>>19390549Whoop whoop indeed. Definitely a bunch of shows on that list I'm excited for along with seeing the upcoming Lunacy episode this Thursday. I hear OnlyWrestlers' show is going to be on the Unbeaten Sports channel (free to watch)
>>19390582yeah fr, JCW is some of the only wrestling that still feels like wrestling, rather than some kind of twisted corporate brainwashing.
>>19390615Agreed. Oh and as for the card for the OnlyWrestlers Frozen Fury show, there's certainly a JCW presence in that.
>>19390647this actually looks pretty good, there's a few names here I don't know but this card looks quite decent.
>>19390647>Charlie Haasfor some reason I thought that was Drake on the other poster, they kind of look alike.
>>19390666It's RVD's promotion so there's bound to be a lot of people in there who are friends with him. Luke Hawx in particular did a few shows with JCW during their partnership with Pro Wrestling Unplugged back in the 2000s.
>>19390674True. I guess Charlie Haas has changed a bit after his time in WWE.
>>19390676RVD runs this one? Ok I'm sold on it.
>>193907323 of their shows are available on YouTube as well if you want to check them out.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1l9IC8XO1nkhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3augk5zpxRAhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDiSwDaQYA8
>>19390798based, I was looking for some good wrestling today. lord knows WWE and AEW aren't going to provide it.
>>19390842What's actually funny is that OnlyWrestlers lets users vote on what matches they want for their shows.
>>19390897that's a really good idea, would love to see more of that. we need more promotions doing innovative things like that.
threads like these are the only things keeping me around here
>>19391006Same here. The talk about the smaller promotions seems to be more natural and laid back to be honest here.
Does all the major stuff happen on Lunacy? I have no idea how JCW works since the reboot.
>>19391153yeah for sure. we don't have nearly as many people in these indie threads but I think most of the people we have are actual fans and not just trolls trying to start shit. From now on, I'm not even going into those corporate wrestling threads, they're full of fake ass jabroni marks.
>>19391181pretty much yeah, there is an occasional triller PPV but most of JCW's content is focused on Lunacy. they also do a lot of cross-promotional stuff too so sometimes important things will happen on cross-branded shows.
>>19391181Pretty much every major show that JCW has done this year was a Lunacy taping or live broadcast apart from the 2 Day War and Powder Keg.
>>19391209Yep. JCW did a few with ALW as well though honestly, a lot of JCW's partners need to coordinate their content distribution better. SPO and OnlyWrestlers understand it but the rest of them haven't really done a lot with airing their shows.
>>19391223yeah that's a frequent problem with the really small indies, with some of them it is legitimately hard to find their content. some of them would probably do bigger business if they just learned how to promote themselves a little.
I want all the juggalos to take a drink with me right now. I'm serious, when you see this post take a drink of your preferred alcoholic beverage and go WOOP WOOP!
>>19391459sure why not lmao i was drinking anyway. WHOOP WHOOP!!
love me some lunacy
>>19391459SIPPIN ON DOWNSIPPIN AROUNDTIPPIN UP ANOTHER CUPPASIPPIN ON DOWN
>>19391459just now seeing this, i'll take a drink with you good sir
Newest episode about to break 40k views
>>19395470And there it is
>>19395470damn that's awesome. and some people think JCW has no potential to grow lol.
>>19396217Yeah. Honestly, YouTube views and TV ratings work a bit differently but it does say something when all that hard work on the gamethreads and general threads pays off.
>>19396324>all that hard work on the gamethreads and general threadswhat is this mark bullshit lol
>>19396217Russo has been advertising the show a lot, he was guest on Ariel Helwanis show and D-Vons YT channel. And Violent J was on Conrads and JBLs podcast. People clearly have been craving for entertaining episodic storytelling
>>19396357Personally, I believe JCW has the potential to be one of the largest promotions in the US. True there will be detractors because of the juggalos and that the media has smeared them for decades but they got the foundation to be a national promotion. Hell, their touring schedule really makes each episode's crowd feel fresh with a new city almost every week or in some cases a new venue every week.
>>19396357yeah for sure, that's what i keep telling these people who complain all day about the lack of fun and the lack of good stories in modern televised wrestling. they just aren't looking in the right place because JCW has both those things in abundance. when it comes to the fun factor specifically, they've got literally everyone beat.
>>19396357And Big Vito is surprisingly good. He got some serious heat from the promo he cut at the end of last episode.
>>19396500he plays a gangsta really well. we might have to make him a made man or somethin. maybe we can talk to the boss, have him run the gamblin rackets and the hoors down at the docks.
>>19396532based
>>19396769yeah I'm sure big vito can keep them hoors in line. bitch betta have vito's money or she'll go in the river, fahgeddaboutit!
Bumpola
>>19397679Certainly an insane moonsault and battery.
>>19398273here's another one. shane mercer is a fucking BEAST.
>>19398576Fuck yeah he is a beast. I've been hearing he's also been on the Pro Wrestling Symphony shows in Nashville as well.
LE DIO TUTOLE DA MIEDO EL WOKE
>>19397180To be honest, Vito fits a lot more in JCW than he did in WCW in my opinion.
>>19399026absolutely, juggalos have actually been designated as a gang, so his gangster gimmick fits lol
>>19400256To be honest, the ICP would beg to differ on the FBI's gang classification. That was probably one of the worst gang labelling decisions I've seen the FBI done. Definitely don't trust those corrupt fuckers. Especially Jeff Sessions. The big kicker is that they had little to no evidence of juggalos being a gang.
>>19400743I would agree, it is absolutely ridiculous that anybody would consider juggalos to be a criminal gang. Jeff Sessions is so old that he probably doesn't even know what a juggalo is, so I can only assume he was badly misinformed by someone. The good thing is that the FBI doesn't seem to be cracking down on juggalos like they would do with an actual gang, so hopefully that stupid shit gets rescinded at some point.
>>19390538The viewership has basically quadrupled since Russo involvement. Feels good after years of wanting him to be involved in something again, not counting his stint at his local Indy.
>>19401160yeah this is a perfect setting for his kind of storytelling. it didn't work in WCW because WCW usually presented itself in a more serious way whereas JCW is straight up cartoons.
Has Russo started booking everything around himself like he always does?
>>19401160>viewership has basically quadrupled since Russo involvementnice headcanon
>>19401443no he's right, it has seen a huge increase lately. the Russo thing got a lot of attention and people want to see what sort of gonzo shit he will do.
>>19401437He just debuted on last show
>>19390538Big Alice Crowleyyy, oh yesss.
>>19401735she also makes me want to talk like paul bearer lol, love big al. one day she will be my wife.
>>19402268just imagine laying pipe to alice crowley while wearing a paul bearer mask screaming OOOOOOOOOH YEEEEEEEESSSSSS! I'd show her my great big urn and then we'd make some creatures of the night together lol.
>>19401435Well JCW seems to be the right amount of fun and seriousness in pro wrestling to be honest.
>>19403062absolutely. I loved WCW but when they tried to mix serious sport-like presentation with campy TBS-style drama, it just didn't work.
>>19390538BASED
I'm sure this has already been discussed, but what are your thoughts on Russo's involvement with JCW? If Violent J calling him to the show is true, then I think that's a good sign that there could be potential. I liked last week's episode too.
I thought the investor was gonna be JBL now I'm disappointed. Russo being the investor was dumb we already know he's the writer
