If The Undertaker had signed with WCW during the Monday Night Wars, would his gimmick have just been an earlier version of the American Badass, or would they have gone for some other mystical or over-the-top persona?
>>19404240>or would they have gone for some other mystical or over-the-top persona? You tell me anon. You tell me
He would have joined the nWo and just been a guy in a bandana beating people up. WCW's whole thing at the time was having WWF guys come in without their gimmicks using their real name
>T-THAT'S GOTTA BE MMMMMMM
>>19404240bischoff was a biker mark and they did those road/hog wild shows so i can see him doing the american badass gimmick and probably some loser gets their bike crushed match vs hogan
>WHAT'S MMMMMM DOING HERE
>>19404257ThisIt was admittedly dimes at the time though
*goldberg crowd chant changes to MM-MMMM
>WEIGHING IN AT 300 POUNDS, MMMMMMMM
>>19404288When 80% of the roster was in the nwo or the wolfpac it was literally antidimes and the company died a couple years later.
>>19404739Oh, is that what WWE told you happened?I was watching at the time. That's not how it went down at all. WCW still had a strong viewer base when AOL Time Warner decided to sell it for pennies on the dollar to Vince. It would have survived if not for that.

>>19404248wasn't that a parody of wwf gimmicks and it only lasted for one worked shoot segment though, lil bro?
>>19404240baddass with magical powers
>>19404240He was already in WCW so he'd just be Mark Callous again
>>19404240Dark Mark of the nWo
>>19405058No. That was a genuine effort at rebranding Dustin when he jumped over to WCW. They filmed a series of vignettes and gave him a big elaborate entrance. Only problem is it was all shit and no one gave a fuck and just thought it was weird that he was showing up in some child's bedroom. Dustin himself though it was shit too as he was trying to get away from the Goldust shtick too. They had already promoted it though so they had to actually debut it and they just used that debut to openly shit on the act and kill it off in the same night. The gimmick was conceived and developed with actual intent to follow through on it though. Read a book lil bro
>>19407057Yet he went along with this lmao
>>19404240Carder would’ve just killed WCW even faster. They probably would’ve gone out of business in like 97
>>19407060He was also back in the WWF as Goldust within like two years after the Seven shit too kek. He tried to distance himself from it but it was over and it worked. Black Reign on the otherhand he shoot hated and was what he's referred to as the lowest point of his career. Drugged up. Fat as hell. Think it was his rock bottom before he got clean. So there's at least that from it
>>19404240WCW wouldn't have had the discipline to handle his gimmick carefully enough. Look at all the kayfabe shitting they were doing in front of your face and on tv. He did a bunch of worked shoot stuff during the lead in to the Ministry, and that worked. But WCW would've just done something that would've made a joke of the gimmick while thinking they were cool. Or at least whatever they'd be able to use of it
>>19407057it was killed by standards and practices, russo derangement syndrome is retarded
>>19404280THATS THE MMMMMMM UP THERE BROTHER!!!!!
