Venue: Summit Music Hall or Cotillion (not stated yet but Cagematch may be wrong on this)City: Denver Colorado, USA or Wichita, Kansas, USA (again, Cagematch may be wrong on this but it is not stated yet)Video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_YGWZr7Fq4Starts at 7 PM EST>Shane Mercer vs. Ninja Mack>Matt Cross vs. Mecha Wolf>Kerry Morton vs. James Storm>The Brothers of Funstruction (Ruffo The Clown and Yabo The Clown) (c) vs. Bustah And The Brain (Alec Price and Jordan Oliver) and St. Claire Monster Corporation (Kongo Kong and Mr. Happy) (w/Jasmin St. Claire) and The Outbreak (Abel Booker and Jacksyn Crowley) (w/Barnabas The Bizarre) for the JCW Tag Team Championship>Haley J (c) vs. Katrina Creed for the JCW Women's Championship
>nobody cares about the other 5 JCW threads>let's start another one
>>19410381Damn JCW women's and tag team champs are back.
>>19410393how many WWE and AEW threads do we have on the catalog right now? pretty sure it's a lot more than 5 each.
>>19410467Yes but people care about those
>>19410489Juggabros...
>>19410489well some of us care about other things mothafacko. and if you don't like it you can eat a bowl of dicks like shawn michaels did.
>>19410505Honestly, I have some issues with Russo as a juggalo myself. For one, putting himself over and making himself a character on the show rather than just focusing on the writing.
>>19410381Little update here: Mosh Pit Mike has confirmed that tonight's episode was taped in Denver, Colorado. Suck on that, Cagematch.
>>19410555oh if its the cotillion show ur gonna hate this. He does nothing but talk inbetween every segment
>>19410555I'm willing to wait and see where it goes, and if russo does fuck up I am confident that J will get rid of him.
>>19410571kek cagematch troons buried again
>>19410381how many bongs until show time
>>19410641about half an hour.
>>19410602Tried to get them to correct it as soon as I saw that. It'll take a bit for them to respond. This show most certainly did not have the coal miners glove on a pole match so maybe they didn't get the memo.
>>19410670Russo may have deliberately misled them as a prank, that is what he did with Meltzer after all.
>>19410699True and Meltzer would fall for anything
Some free ideas for Russo re characters >J-Roc from Trailer park boys >Jack Nicholsons Joker >Watch Trailer park boys allot of that can transfer >an ISIS guy (make him popular at some stage and have everyone chanting ''death to america jihad now''>SJW puritans who campaign constantly to ban and get JCW shut down>A stolen valor neet who pretends to be a US solider (comedy segments involve him trying to get concessions in fast food places ect. but always getting found out because he doesnt have a straight story)>''the professor'' (loosely based on doc brown from back to the future...expert in physics whos being chased by the gov for some reason)
>>19410746those are actually some pretty good ideas, if I was russo i would for sure use a few of them if not all of them.
>>19410746what's quite funny is that the ICP had an idea similar to the 5th one. Except it was a corrupt police officer gimmick in the form of Colt Cabana.
gotta post 2 tuff tony to get the party started
>the happy merchant (leader of a shadowy group known as ZOG who manipulate JCW from behind the scenes)>a cowardly Frenchman (routinely doesnt show up at fights)>short fan on fan fight every show>the IRS>do up high quality comical placards and hand them to fans at start of show
>>19410774yeah it's at least a little similar. it's weird to me how colt cabana did such a great job with the officer cabana character, and yet he's been totally dimeless everywhere else.
>make whatever puritanical heel group that wants to ban JCW ironically popular. it would be hilarious seeing tons of placards saying ''BAN JCW'' and ''END THIS DEGENERACY'' ...''CRIMINALIZE ALL JUGGALOS''
LET'S GO! It's airing!
OH SHIT! Vince Russo with Iron Man?!
>>19410904love it
Silence ! ....the smell in here. I expected the aroma of cheap corn dogs and regret, but this? Backward violence, objectifation of woman, refusal to use the proper pronouns !Look around you! Take a good, hard look at the filth you wallow in. This isn’t a sport! This isn’t a community! This is a cesspool of criminal negligence! Dressed like clowns, acting like derelicts..You cheer for these... these Clowns? This JCW "Championship" Wrestling? It’s a disgrace to the noble tradition of athletic competition! You think this chaotic, low-rent circus act is entertainment? You are degenerate trash that normal people cross the street to avoid! And that’s where my work comes in.
>bro the SaudisOh brother this guy stinks
My associates and i are working to put this place down for good we are currently Filing Official Zoning Variance Challenges: We are currently petitioning local municipalities wherever JCW attempts to book a venue, arguing that the volume and nature of the events violate noise ordinances and public safety codes, making it impossible for you to secure permits. Targeting Liability Insurance Providers: Our legal team is aggressively contacting every insurance carrier that underwrites your events, providing them with extensive documentation of every piece of garbage thrown, every minor infraction, and every alleged "unsafe working condition" in the ring, making your liability premiums astronomical and uninsurable. Lobbying Local Licensing Boards: We are influencing city council members and county commissioners to introduce new, stringent "Public Nuisance" ordinances that will disproportionately affect events like these, choking off your ability to operate legally in major markets. Pressuring Sponsorships and Merchandisers: My PR teams are launching campaigns aimed at the few legitimate vendors and sponsors you have, forcing them to sever ties to protect their own brand image, starving JCW of vital revenue streams.(The boos have reached a crescendo of pure hatred. Vance just laughs, adjusting his tie.)So keep screaming, you pathetic losers! Scream until you lose your voices! It doesn't matter. The adults are in charge now, and we’re cleaning house.JCW is done. And the joke, my friends, is on YOU! Now, if you'll excuse me, I believe my driver has managed to find a clean route out of this dump.
oh shit vito tryin to ban faygo thats not gonna work here brother
Well that was awful
>>19410924promo's good
oh shit. OnlyWrestlers live next week on Unbeaten Sports Network.
looks like violent j and vito are going to fight in the parking lot at the end of the show, this could be great
all rise for the towering bucket of sweetness kerry morton and the glorious southern six
AHHHH KERRY WITH THE COAL MINERS GLOVE! I LOVE IT!
First match is Kerry Morton vs. James Storm and Morton takes the victory int he first round. Coal miners' glove on a pole match next week?
>>19411005Oh there's our teaser for Wichita.
>>19411009I have no problem with that, the coal miner's glove on a pole match is actually the original "object on a pole" match and has been around for a long time.
Matt Cross vs. Mecha Wolf next.
>>19411018JCW's done something similar for their first show in 1999 except it was a crackpipe on a pole with the Iron Sheik taking on Izzy High.
>>19411035LOL i didn't even know about that, I have got to find that now. I bet the sheik won, you don't mess with the sheik's drugs or he make you humble old country way
>>19411025>Matt CrossNice fella. I hope he wins.
>>19411061I like this idea but don't do it in detroit or you could end up like kevin nash
>>19411053he got it and put on a great show as usual
>>19411053You got your prediction right.
Shane Mercer vs. Ninja Mack next but Ninja Mack now has new colors.
oh damn mercer and mack, now this is an odd one. its an insanely strong brute against the best flippy guy in the world today
smark commentators saying russo sunk wcw and tna at 07.04they are all afraid of that someone who knows how its done is going to rock their little indie boat
>>19411124nah it's just kayfabe, this is classic worked shoot stuff
Oh shit Steven Flowe and CoKane beating up Caleb Konley and Jeeves.
St. Claire Monster Corporation going after 2 Tuff Tony.
Haley J (c) vs. Katrina Creed for the JCW Women's Championship next
heel thing that never gets old (vince mcmhan used it allot_- find negative stats about whatever town/city your in like - high illiteracy, obesity, whatever then ''you know i was doing a little reading....yes....i know many of you dont understand what that meansand i found outmurder rate, drug arrests, illteracy...(give %s)and this one is my favorite"Rattiest City": For several years running, Chicago has been named the most rat-infested city in Americayea thats right booshow everyone your denial !yea go ahead and boo !yea thats right throw things, show everyone at home the degenerates you are !
>>19411186I loved that segment, cokane making the save was a great highlight
>>19411226never seen katrina Creed before, i like her look and style but don't know anything else about her.
Its one thing peak wwe was great at, but it was never replicated in indie wrestling or other wrestling companies (the heel working the audience into a near riot)
>>19411244She's become a regular on Mystery Wrestling if I recall.
>>19411227would be really funny to do that in bangkok lol
>>19411247oh, you still see good heel work these days, but ever since kayfabe died it's impossible to get the level of heat that they had in the past.
OH SHIT! ALICE CROWLEY IS BACK!
Haley J retains. Also, Blast from the Past recapping Legends & Icons.
>>19411271she was taking some time off so i could impregnate her with a future world emperor.
main event time! The Brothers of Funstruction (Ruffo The Clown and Yabo The Clown) (c) vs. Bustah And The Brain (Alec Price and Jordan Oliver) vs. St. Claire Monster Corporation (Kongo Kong and Mr. Happy) (w/Jasmin St. Claire) vs. The Outbreak (Abel Booker and Jacksyn Crowley) (w/Barnabas The Bizarre) for the JCW Tag Team Championship next
>>19411326rooting for the outbreak 100%, those guys are megadimes
>>19411334Fuck yeah those two are insane.
Brothers of Funstruction retain! Damn that was insane!
kino main event, hoping we'll get to see this parking lot brawl next.
>>19411400FUCK NO!
>>19411415awesome finish, this was another home run of a show. to really make russo a proper heel authority, they had to do something like this.
>>19411426That may have been the biggest heel move I have ever seen from Russo. Of course it's kayfabe but damn.
still too much crappy carny stuff, indie wrestlers no actual characters that your interested in. cant wait until russo reformats the whole thing
The Brothers of Funstruction have an underlying creepiness about them, like you're in a dream that could suddenly turn into a nightmare.
>>19411471JCW is full of good characters, they're doing a better job with that than pretty much anybody. and wrestling is supposed to be a little bit carny.
>>19411475yeah i could see them being the clowns in a nightmare, they would just need red eyes and sharp teeth.
>>19411445i'll tell you one thing I like about this, it means a high likelihood of violent j becoming an active wrestler again for awhile.
>>19411478oh yea its way better than the shitheap known as WWE, AEW and the rest of themstill, it is pretty hollow.beautiful design esp for something so low budget. promos have the right style...the music is pretty good. the actual matches are decent. still, no truly immersive characters or stories as suchmost of the ingredients are there tho. the biggest obstacle, for russo, will be trying to make actual actors and comedians out of wrestlers
>>19411554they do need a little more in way of long-term storytelling in JCW. i've always thought they were strong in the storytelling department but most of them are rather brief. this "mystery investor" angle is the most long-term thing I've seen from them in a long while but I'm sure that will begin to change.
>>19410746I have another one to add to the listExtremely racist buff gay rapist that hunts everyone browner than himCall him nevin kash
>>19411554It should really start to get interesting after the new year once Russo has had time to work with everyone and got to know their strengths and weaknesses. I think this was the first show in the second set of tapings Vince has wrote and I think last week's show was the first one he was actually there producing in person.
>>19411579i didnt think it was great.also, with the new cash-flow i wonder if russo will start buying the ability to use any existing copyrighted music. not everyone is into that juggalo hip hop, and big tunes have a big effectin order to emulate the kind of magic you saw when WWF was at its absolute zenith there where so many things at play....things allot of people dont even consider choreography and stagecraft. the entrances, the timing on when the wrestler would come out (exactly as the most emotive riff in the music kicks in) - then strobe lights/pyrotechnics timed to that the wrestlers where essentially oscar tier actors....thats very hard to replicate i dont for a second buy the idea that it cant be done because it was specific to that time, it absolutely can be done, but all the right components would need to be there and sync upits like nuclear fusion, but when it happens youl know it. ECW had the equation aswel. Absolutely insane atmosphere at some of those shows...not fans, fanatics, and not cheering, but in a frenzy
>>19411634I know he was definitely writing that episode a few weeks ago where kerry morton won the battle royal by disguising himself as bigfoot. it's very similar to a gag that he did in WCW with terry funk in a gorilla suit. except this time i think it worked out a lot better because it felt less random.
>>19411693The first show he wrote was the one after that.
>>19411674Regarding ECW, Heyman knew how to skirt the law to get licensed music for the entrance themes.
definitely gonna mp4 some things from this show
im not attacking russo btw, the man is a creative genius he is the steven speilberg of pro wrestling, hands down no contest but it takes time to get into the groove, how many masterpieces of tv shows have a bad first few episodes...sometimes even a bad/moderate first seasonits going to take time for that guy to craft out his vision. >he ruined TNA and WCW myth. Kevin Nash admits in an interview that 90% of Russos stuff was being blocked by suits in WCW You dont try to filter a guy like that. You dont filter Spielberg, you give him full reign. Thats how Russo was a success (because McMahon gave him near total control)
funniest part of the whole show:>Russo: hey vito, didn't you used to run around in a dress?>Vito: I WAS UNDER INVESTIGATION
>>19411806BRUH! That was hilarious. Apparently he's also responsive to fans on social media as well.
>>19411785I sincerely hope you're right, JCW already kind of reminds me of attitude era/NG era WWF simply because everyone else seems to have forgotten how to do proper gimmicks and make the show feel fun. if there's anywhere that russo can fully replicate that era, this is likely the place.
>>19411818i don't even use normie social media but i might have to make an account just to do some gangsta banter with vito lol
the challenge for Russo...how do you turn carnie athletes, who only ever viewed themselves as such...into first class actors and comediansthats going to be hard, not least because allot of them dont want to do that. allot of them would even be opposed..because its not what they signed up for, they signed up as acrobatic performers
>>19411851If anything, I'd say ICP could start working on a Big Money Rasslers movie
since attitude (and somewhat before in WWF) no wrestling company has merged (at least not successfully) with tv/theater. post ra in WWE it reverted to being a wrestling show like all the others
>>19411851well one good thing about amateur actors is that they can sometimes make things feel a little more natural and spontaneous. unscripted dialogue has a certain quality that can't be replicated, so russo would probably do well to play into that aspect. You're not going to turn these guys into oscar-tier actors overnight but if you can just develop their verbal skills a little bit, time and experience would likely do the rest. I guarantee you that Barnabus and the Outbreak can rise to that level because their character work is already top tier.
>>19411867for sure, i don't know why they've never done it. they did big money hustlas, big money rustlas...and they're in the wrestling business. it's such an obvious thing.
>>19411876Honestly, the strange thing is that JCW seems to have that theatre vibe that WWE lacked for a long time though with JCW, it makes sense since it was for its existence, mostly an underground indie promotion that just so happens to have toured the country.
Here's that awesome finish between Shane Mercer and Ninja Mack
Vito and this joker version of Vampiro are great
>>19412009Damn that fat ninja must be 250 pounds
If JCW eventually gets picked up by a legitimate television station, everything we like about it will change. I want them to succeed, but it will no longer be made for Juggalos
>>19412046It will be pick up by a streaming service first, shudder or tubi
