I don't think injuries was the sole reason Shiozaki left. I suspect the bigger reason is Shiozaki was butting heads with Nosawa, Marufuji, and Muto on the direction NOAH was taking then when Marufuji left him out of the N1 Shiozaki decided to tap out and go to AJPW. Honestly while Shiozaki is having to slow down and do things a bit differently due to age he's still putting on great matches in AJPW and I hope AJPW considers keeping him because I think at the moment Shiozaki will find more like-minded people there than in NOAH.
